I have over 55 years of motorcycling behind me. As far as Italian bikes, I have owned a ducati 860, moto morini 500 camel, laverda 3cl 1000, cagiva 650, and currently have a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 and a 2013 Moto Guzzi Stone 750. Have owned several German bikes to include BMW and Zundaps. Grew up with British bikes-meaning Triumph and BSA. Have never been interested in Harley. Owned several Suzuki's to include 2-stroke models and the Wankel rotary 500. The Moto Guzzis have been my favorite above all the rest. Quirky, reliable, tractor-like in that the Japanese "refinement" is not there. But if you love just being connected to machinery and sound, then Moto Guzzi!- By the way, because it is shaft driven and a new bike it takes some miles to break in the transmission as well as for the brakes to seat well--be patient--mike

Hello! I really liked your video. I have a question for you, is it possible to service MG without having a dealer, it's just that these are so unique and distinctive bikes that I just don't see an alternative to them? For more than a hundred years, bikes have been produced at the same factory, almost manually, who can "brag" about it now. Thanks!
I believe the Moto Guzzis are easier in many ways to home service due to the configuration of the engine 😁 they are distinct but have been made that way for over 100 years 😁 thanks T 😁 I don’t know of any special equipment needed though 🤔
Another great video (as always). I think that Ice Didi might sell you a Guzzi Special for a good price. The kind of bike that you go out the in on. I almost rode into the back of that van because you made me look at the moustache 😁. I like all of the colours, but the Special is the best. I think that I would have to call that one Salvador. Hello, having watched your 2 videos on the Moto Guzzi V7 stone I arranged for a Demo ride at my local MG Dealership and rode the MG V7 Stone "Limited Edition" The moment I sat on it and started the engine I wanted to buy it 🙂 The experience you get from that V Twin Transverse engine is amazing, it may not appeal to everyone who comes from say a 4 cylinder engine road bike for example. The stone with the single display and being off centre is actually ok having had doubts to begin with. My next move is to decide which model V7 Stone or the Classic/which colour (New or nearly new)
Well, glad you didn't name it, TAYM! I think I might fancy me one w/ a chrome tank & a black leather tank fitting, eh? Red shocks, red valve covers & red badging. Otherwise- blacked out. @@TAYM Maybe Biggles be traded in for Mario V7 special or is Biggles the pillion bike.
Probably be the best pillion bike from your bikes but I guess Buddy do a fairly good pillion job too.
@@ruahinesrider Biggles is the equivalent of my car, long distance, quick pace on motorways, A roads, B roads, back roads and no roads, two up or solo, get a ton of stuff in the panniers and top box, great in all weathers. And so on and so on 😊😂😂
I don’t understand footballer attitudes on motorbikes, I have had all sorts and all bikes are beautiful in their own ways.. those so called motorcyclists that slack down other styles or brands are simply fundamentally misunderstanding the world of cycling… do your thing, others will do theirs. There is no competition or final prize. Be happy that’s what motorbike is about. I own a MG and love it to bits. But I have loved Yamaha or Hondas.. not a problem
Exactly 😁 thanks W😁
Marvelous!
😂😂 thanks PB 😁
Is there also an English version?
😂😂😂 sorry, no 😁
Black pudding? Like Marmite, love it or hate it. Just put the 850 in the racer and more ground clearance on the Special. Oh and bring on the V100!
Btw your 'moustachios' are eagles.
😂😂😂
V7's are living dinosaurs. The eagle on the tank represents living dinosaurs (birds). I find that an endearing coincidence.
Marvellous, never thought of that. 😊
Being a Guzi does it Guzzle the petrol ⛽️?
It carries a lot with 21 litres but only does 60 mpg😞
It will get 70mpg if you just putt around. I get 55 to 60 mixed fast riding
@@kevinnielsen1356 marvellous, it does sound like you should get a lot , if you know what I mean 😊
In through the outdoor.
Banana 🍌 Rama.
😂😂
What is the name of the intro song?
Not sure, it is from the GoPro Quik royalty free library 😊
Marvellous.
Indeed it is 😊
I want one,the special no moustache.
Agostini slip on's.Yeah they rock side to side & my mate rode a old one & said that it pulls you down on the left corners & pull you up on right corners.I wonder if theses new one's like easy to work on they reckon.
Dylan from "In the Loop" rode this bike from a friend & HE had a Royal Enfield Dealership & liked so much HE became a dealer of them 😆😂🤣.
Marvellous
Triggered me off 😂🤣👍
I love the V7 & the V9 but V9 has a 15-16L tank & rear cans are straight & scrape if you push it & same motor & HP.The V7 Rough 750 53hp model from 2015-2020 sounds better being a Euro 4 model. The 750 Rough with Headers & slip on's is about 63bhp with out the Euro 5 constraints & sounds even better.I've been looking for a second hand V7 750 2016-20 model to put headers & slip on's but in NZ don't come up to often & hold their value here compared to Ausie. My mate in Ausie showed me a 2017 750 for sale for 11k o.n.o 6000km headers slip on's but he broke.I would of been running to have a look & HE showed me a 2016 V9 850 7000km for 10k o.n.o
The best I seen here was a 2020 750 3000km with Agostini slip on's (worth- $1800nz) for 13k & a new
V7 850 is 16k & special 17k & a Triumph T100 is $18k.
My Harley Mates keep hassling me to get a HD Vtwin & would love to tell them "I got one I got a Vtwin" & they'll be thinking HD & I'll turn up on Motoguzzi 😂🤣 I'd love to see there faces😁😆😂🤣
@@ruahinesrider 😂😂😂 hilarious 😂
@@TAYM They'd be gutted but I'd rather have a smooth V7 than a vibrating hunk of steel😂🤣Only HD I'd have is a 1200 rest to big & long.Be bloody hilarious all right.
"MARVELLOUS"...😂
😂😂😂😂 I know right 😂😂 thanks Richard 😁
I would still need to centre that speedo. 😳
Yes, me too 😁 thanks JLA😁
I am trading in z900rs for 22 stone need to chill out 👍
A good move 😁 I had to do similar 😁 though the stone has a certain amount of pace about it 😁 thanks GD 😁
Well, the clock looks like a alien head with pointy ears that light up when you turn.
You lost me at purring cat, I am allergic to cats.
Congrats on your channel getting larger, I got a commercial during it!
Lastly, I am really getting nervous for Wendy. I had a dream and you stated, Wendy is gone. I might need to be warned for the week when you say that. I will skip that video. I will have to believe that she is on vacation. LOL
When you want to start thinking of names for a bike, it's a sign from the alien clock head. Don't look in to her eyes! She is using some kind of mind trickery.
Wendy is safe and having a service and her hooter done this Saturday 😊 re advert, I have had random ones appear for a while. If they become too intrusive I shall do something about them.
You are like kid in the candy shop 😃
Do you know what is the difference between a man and a boy ? The price of the toys 😄
😂😂😂 😊
Never trust a woman that has a Mustache !
😂😂😂😂
Perhaps you could attempt to speak proper English?
🤔 not sure what you mean by ‘proper’ English 🤔 there are around 160 dialects and that’s not including English as a second or third language 🤔 so if you could explain precisely which ‘English you would like, I shall do my upmost to achieve your desired version😁 thanks FJB 😁
Another hoover 😂
I wouldn’t mind a hoover that sounds like it 😂😂
@@TAYM I got one it’s a Dyson
@@Lostoldman 😂😂
A MutterGuzzi 🤣. Marvelous and beyond .
If you never were a Rocker , you'll be one if you buy a Guzzi .( from left to right mostly ) 🫣
AND you could rock around the clock with Buddy , or rock around anything else on the mantlepiece,as long as you're careful 🙄.
Chainology is redundant with a Guzzi , Fanbloodytabulous !
TAYM is one of the few people in the world that can mistake an 🦅 for a moustache , even when it's wing ends flash with the the turn signals 🙄. How can you soar with the Eagles 🦅, when you waddle 🦆like Hercule Poirot 🔎
? Buy the Leetle Grey Bike , Mon Ami .
Mrs TAYM deserves the Phsycodelic Yellow🍋 or the Tangerine Dream bike 🍊. Retro groovy baby !
Go on spoil her ♥️💋!
Guzzis grow on you , once smitten , you're hooked .
I should know , I've got three sultry Italian ladies locked away in my garage .( Oh no ,😲, what have I just said ? 🙊)
Spaghettiferous Guzzabulous !
Fantabulous once more, what more can I say? 😊 😂😂😂
