Currently own a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 cc that I have had for 20 years. Once took me 120 miles on one cylinder at highway speed when one spark plug wire crapped out on a Sunday morning with no shops open. At almost 70 years old it has gotten too heavy to maneuver in and out of situations. Purchased a 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone at more than 100 pounds less wet weight. Absolutely love it. Will stay with Moto Guzzi for the rest of my riding life. I have owned BMW, Laverda, Ducati, Moto Morini, Triumph, BSA, Zundapp, Indian, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Cagiva and loved them all for different reasons, but the fact that I can physically handle the weight of a bike that will cruise (illegally) at 85-90 mph for as long as I need, looks good, is reliable and affordable and unique, why shop anywhere else?- -Mike Battle
Great video, thank you. Just purchased mine about 2 weeks ago in the Centenario livery just like the one you're riding. Coming off of a Harley Road Glide and I absolutely love this motorcycle. So much more fun to ride in our northern Virginia traffic. Added an aftermarket horn, Atlas throttle lock and grip puppies. Perhaps an aftermarket exhaust after the break in period is over. My dealer said that the accessories should start showing up in about 6 months. I'm 58 and this is likely the last motorcycle that I will ever own. Reminds me of why I started riding in the 70's. It's a modern bike with modern reliability, style and comfort with an old school feel. Makes me smile. Ride safe.
@@official_blackberet Congrats! That's where I bought mine. Stuart was great to work with. He just called me the other day to let me know that there was an update for the ABS. He said it would take about 10 minutes to load it. The more I ride this bike, the more I like it and appreciate it for what it is. Still breaking mine in as well. Just hit 230 miles on the odometer yesterday. Fortunately neutral is getting easier to find now too. Ride safe.
@@wanionwombat9338 Hi. It's still working great and it's one of the few mods that I consider necessary if you want to do any type of touring/long range riding. Also sucked it up and bought the Guzzi luggage rack from Italy since I got tired of waiting for the accessories to get to the U.S. dealers.

Several years ago, when I saw my 1st Moto Guzzi,it stopped me in my tracks.Fast forward I am now the owner of a Blacked out 2020 V7.Starting with the history of Moto Guzzi and how multiple generations of families have worked for them.How they pay homage to a friend with the Eagle.The same factory for 100 years. When I look at the bike, I don't see a mass produced machine on a assembly line,I see an Italian craftsman taking pride with what he or she has made. You used the word soul. That sums it up. Thanks
Im after a modern classic after having owned a few Harleys and Yamahas. Triumph dealer is so far away and by luck I dug into Moto Guzzi after having seen one in real life, absolutley fell in love and saw I had a dealer just 10 mins away. Very excited to get my hands on a V7.
It has a very good system for monitoring what's in the gas tank. Once the gas light comes on it starts a trip meter to tell you distance travelled since the light came on. Its far better and accurate than a gauge imo. I get about 20K/L. Light comes on at about 16L consumed leaving 5L in reserve or about 100k.
Pure simplicity and a joy to ride. The V7 provides sufficient power and comfort for the back roads . It is a wonderful bike and let the Guzzi do its thing and it delivers, no red rev line simply because there is no need for it. I bought my bike in 2021 and will recommend it for all "grown up" bikers. Here you ride the bike and not the other way around. Just too bad we got too much winter up her north.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a middle weight as a second bike for a while now, and after recently viewing a Web Bike World review of the new V7 850 Stone, I finally found something that checked all the boxes. I've probably read and viewed two dozen V7 reviews and they all are overwhelmingly positive. They all speak of the V7's "character" or "soul", and it's clear there's just so much more to these bikes and so many levels of pleasure they can provide. I'm really anxious to try one out.
My dear V7 Stone is actually sitting in the garage. No, not because it's broken: because it's winter here in Eastern Québec. Spring is slowly but surely showing its face. It'll be time to make her sing. Sweet, sweet, sweet bike. You don't need to go crazy on mods. I simply ditched the OEM mirrors for bar-ends, strapped handlebars for the passenger, put a little Dart classic windscreen and installed glorious Agostini slip-ons. No db killers? You bet. I still smile like a little kid on christmas each and every time I wake her up. That inverted V shimmy is so...f'n...charming. The clunky shifter? Gets to the very core of your soul. This bike brings you back to basics. Nostalgia done right were the right words. I love, love, love, love that thing. Over a Bonneville? OH YEAH. No hesitation. Plus, it has a driveshaft so for the lazy little f'er I am, this is just perfect.
Our son just took delivery of a 2021 V7 in the black color. We went to see it yesterday but unfortunately it is a rainy weekend here in New England. What a beautiful motorcycle. I cannot wait to ride it. I'm looking for something just as you describe in this video. This may be just be what I am looking for.
The thing with this Guzzi is that it isn't a modern bike styled to look traditional, it's an older traditional design that has been carefully refined, updated and really really improved. Engineer brother's 890 KTM with quick shifter will run circles around this Guzzi but it feels isolated in comparison and it doesn't speak to me. The mechanicalness, handling and comfort of the V7 Stone does. As brother noted; they are compleat opposites on the street bike spectrum, but both great.

As usual, one can' t precisely explain to others WHY and HOW Moto Guzzi motorbikes are so good, the usual " more than the sum of the parts" . You just try one, you feel it, but you aren't able to exactly explain it to others. But you are hooked to this weird, peculiar, unusual living iron horse; and sooner or later you will come back for more. You just got "Guzzitis", and it' s for life.

Amen! What a speech!!! I enjoyed the video. I'm a little bit too tall for this beauty V7. My brother loves his V7 Stone. I bought the Audace (California) and I love it, too. But the lines of the V7 are perfect.
While it isn’t that fast, it isn’t that slow either. I find it easily passes cars at highway speed. Compared to a lot of bikes I have owned, it’s very nimble. This bike is one of the most fun bikes I’ve ever ridden.
I just can't believe such a beautiful machine is only $10 grand. I think you sold me on this. I was considering the Ducati Scrambler, Aprilia RS660 and the Indian Scout. I like this bike because you just do not see them everywhere. Once my house closes I think I will order a Centenario V9 Bobber.
Rabid, a solid review, nice. I test rode the V7 Stone a few weeks back, I was smitten, loved it. A pure riding machine, very few modern touches, just enough, the old retro components have been brought upto date, using new materials used. When compared to the last Guzzi i rode in 1980/81, a Le Mans Mk 1, it felt the same but different, both ride the curves the same, like a train on rails. At the end of the test, my face aching from grinning so much, the problem now is which V7 to buy, Stay safe, Ride free.
If I took the simple, retro yet competent feel of my Royal Enfield Interceptor and blended it with the flair, the style and panache of my Vespa ... I would get the Guzzi. This could be a very good thing. I especially enjoyed your descriptions of it's long range comfort, I am an older rider and my interest in white knuckle riding is zero.
My 2014 V7 is very comfortable to ride for long periods on my bony butt. No complaints here, pull the trigger. This machine is only white knuckle if you force it, do the speed limit and you will be equally satisfied. There's something about it...
Great review and you pretty much sum it up. Its the complete package. Guzzi's are the only bikes I know that will acutaly talk to you and become a part of you.They can handle a good fang thrashing and love it. This bike will handle any style or ride you want. So easy to do your own servicing as well ,as mentioned very simplistic.

Thanks for the ride review. You answered a couple questions that have been bugging me. I remember being in Pierce Brothers Motorcycle Shop in San Antonio, Texas when the first V7 came out in the 60's. I was completely mesmerized by that bike. I've not been convinced the newer V7's were going to be as good in Some respects with being a Small Block and all. Will it be comfortable or capable of interstate hwy speeds and such. But it appears that it should be quite comfortably capable. I live in South Central Texas and Interstates are a Huge part of my travel pathway. I love the idea of a larger tank size and the driveshaft (I think) is the way to go. My last 5 bikes have been shaft driven & I like it that way. I'm 71 and not in the best of shape but motorcycling is a passion for this old guy and I'm looking at the V7 as my next ride. I usually put on at least 75K miles before I consider trading out a bike. I'm hopeful the V7 will accommodate my neurosis.

They should put 6 gears on all the sub liter bikes. My t100 is nice too, but u can feel it would love to have another gear. My old VMAX had shaft drive. It always seemed so different than chain or belt. Do they give you a center stand, unlike triumph. Ido like the seat shape, but I guess it keeps you in one position. It does look nice. Thanks for the ride.
There are aftermarket center stands available, but they are not installed stock. That seat is great. Did a 404 mile ride in around 6 hours and it was comfy. This is the first motorcycle I did something like that on where I only stopped one for gas and then kept going and never felt beat up. Even my big Chieftain after the 291 mile straight ride I felt a little saddle sore.
Thoroughly enjoyed video., especially the in-depth subjective analysis. Seems like u connected more with the Guzzi than the CB 1100 ex. The 2021 Guzzi is now at the top of my Year long ever changing but steadying list : Speed Twin, RS 900, Street Twin, Interceptor (price n warranty ) and CB1100ex - no longer imported.
Would be fun to get factory riders from other makes on these bikes for a week and ask them for input? Have them share their thoughts with the companies they work for.
I live in New England and at 5.5 gal. and 70+ mpg you can cover a lot of distance. You maybe passed by sport bikes because almost all NE. roads twist, but you can work this little bike and you'll smile all the way. The suspension will gentle remind you when your pushing the limits. On your review I never is you leaning into a turn. You'd think you died and gone to heaven on our roads. I feel almost sorry for you! LOL Kind words about a little known bike.
I absolutely LOVE my new to me 2017 Moto Guzzi v9 Bobber. I love everything about it except the seat and the rear suspension. If i hit a bump doing above 50 mph I feel it all the way up my spine. In your opinion does the 2021 v7 handle bumps at legal interstate speeds? I'm on my third seat and have expensive aftermarket shocks. I'm a big guy weighing in at 230 lbs. I'm ready to trade for a new v7 to stay with Guzzi. Thanks ahead of time for your feedback.
Great review, very detailed & really nice presentation & production. Also a very cool bike, only thing stopping me getting one is I'm waiting to see what the new Guzzi mystery model is that will be revealed later this year.
Think about it Italians can build a scooter (Vespa )that with proper maintenance you can get 100k on it . So imagine how well built their motorcycles are..... just something to think about they take a lot of pride in the building process , am sold.🤔

I rode my V7 III just under 10,000 miles so far... many 300 mile days, this bike is truly amazing, like you said, it has a sole ... I saw i the past you rode the rV7 750cc bike, do you feel significant more power with the 850cc engine or very similar to the 750cc ? Would you upgrade from the 750 to 850 or not really that of an upgrade to make it worth while? Thx !
I love the new 850 on board these machines. The 750 engine would run out of steam a little earlier than one would want if they were looking for speed and power, but cruised well. The 850 just cruises well, with the added bonus it can accelerate out much better if that makes since. It's a much better pairing for the power/weight than before and to me makes it just perfect. I had a friend ride it for about two hours today and he agrees as he rode the V7 III as well. It's not like amazingly faster, it's just perfected but well worth the upgrade.
@@RabidHedgehog The V7III vs the new model is the question I too would like to know and I think you have answered it. I love my III but its glaring fault to me is the way it runs out of steam when overtaking . I have had a couple of "interesting " moments trying to get past a vehicle when something is coming the other way and you are just not getting past quickly enough. On the Northern English backroads I ride there is just no room for error as they are very narrow with not a lot of long straights. You can be in trouble before you know it. I`m going for a test ride but think I have almost decided. The only doubt is a rumored new model and I hope it would be a roadster V85 with the full 80bhp
@@RabidHedgehog I had a v7 iii on which I covered over 6000 miles. I have just completed 1300 miles on my new v7 special. I loved the older bike but the new one has a much better engine, better suspension and handling, a noticeably lighter clutch, is more comfortable and has much better tyres. It has a seat height accessible to shorter riders unlike too many modern bikes and carries its weight low down. I can get nearly 250 miles on a tank of fuel. Most of all, the v7 850 develops its power lower in the rev range and gives much greater confidence, on back roads, in towns and on fast roads. This is an authentic, practical bike with real character. It has power you can actually use without a mass of vulnerable electronics that few can really exploit. It’s a bike you can ride to its full potential and feel like you are controlling it rather than the other way round. The Guzzi v7 850 always leaves me with a smile and that it all you can ask of any bike.

Dragging knees and screaming through the breeze type of riding, get the RNineT. If you just want to ride and enjoy the world going by at a more normal pace the Guzzi. This is actually why I have the FTR1200 and the Guzzi is that I have one for each style.
Want to add joy of riding is highly subjective.I just re jetted my Honda CB750 and its like a whole different bike went from cool gentlemen to beast mode and I love it.I also have 1500 Vulcan and love that too. Sure Guzzi is a spectacular bike....but enjoying the ride can be on anything....Whats the point of my post? We get carried away the latest the greatest and keep buying things only to replace something else and never feeling satisfied....but buy an old bike and try to enjoy the ride and that may save of lot of money...

Sir, that is a great question. It shows cautiousness. These are WONDERFUL bikes. They are not an intimidating bike. Short answer is this... Look for a smaller CC, lighter bike, that you develop a sense of what it is to be out on the road for about 5k miles. This will familiarize you with the nature of street riding. Dont spend a bunch of money on it either. Find a friend after 5k and give it to them so they can do the same. Then get a Guzzi. You will fall in love with the bike. It will probably be your last bike you own. You will also realize what you want out of the forever bike, riding the first one. The Guzzi will fill in all those holes, and you will have the experience to really appreciate it. Above all... Endorsement, and insurance before all of it.

Actually, the first v-8 motorcycle was built by Glenn Curtis of Hammondsport NY. He built several Curtis Motorcycles before going out of business but only one V-8.
Hey Rabid, do you still own this bike? I am interested in the V7 but I'm told that there are reliability issues, that parts and accessories are hard to come by, and that customer support from Guzzi is practically nonexistent. What has been your experience?
I don't have this one but I still have a Moto Guzzi in the V85TT and my local dealer has always been good at getting parts and getting things done. But I've never had non-start issues or anything weird ever occur with any of them.
@@RabidHedgehog That's good to hear, friend. Another question, please: These bikes have a dry clutch. I regularly go to a local parking lot to practice slow-speed maneuvers for a half hour or so. These practice drills require for the clutch to mostly be in the friction zone (with light pressure on the rear brake). Do you think such operating of a Goose V7 would be harmful to the clutch? I know it's harmless to all the bikes with a wet clutch. Thank you, sir.
I'm glad you asked. That's the only question I have about the bike. The saddle appears to be too short for two full-sized American adults (c'mon now, be nice). Is there enough room to move around at least a bit for two?
Two analog gauges vs the digital one... The headlight is "normal" not the winged logo shape. The spoked wheels however look great but are more of an issue... So I will give the stone credit for having better wheels
@@andrewhannam. It is my understanding the wire spoke wheels are actually tubeless. The mount points for the spokes are attached to the rim on the outside of the bead area. Rather ingenious and a long time in coming.

The thing with this Guzzi is that it isn't a modern bike styled to look traditional, it's an older traditional design that has been carefully refined, updated and really really improved. Engineer brother's 890 KTM with quick shifter will run circles around this Guzzi but it feels isolated in comparison and it doesn't speak to me. The mechanicalness, handling and comfort of the V7 Stone does. As brother noted; they are compleat opposites on the street bike spectrum, but both great.

As usual, one can' t precisely explain to others WHY and HOW Moto Guzzi motorbikes are so good, the usual " more than the sum of the parts" . You just try one, you feel it, but you aren't able to exactly explain it to others. But you are hooked to this weird, peculiar, unusual living iron horse; and sooner or later you will come back for more. You just got "Guzzitis", and it' s for life.

Amen! What a speech!!! I enjoyed the video. I'm a little bit too tall for this beauty V7. My brother loves his V7 Stone. I bought the Audace (California) and I love it, too. But the lines of the V7 are perfect.
While it isn’t that fast, it isn’t that slow either. I find it easily passes cars at highway speed. Compared to a lot of bikes I have owned, it’s very nimble. This bike is one of the most fun bikes I’ve ever ridden.
I just can't believe such a beautiful machine is only $10 grand. I think you sold me on this. I was considering the Ducati Scrambler, Aprilia RS660 and the Indian Scout. I like this bike because you just do not see them everywhere. Once my house closes I think I will order a Centenario V9 Bobber.
Rabid, a solid review, nice. I test rode the V7 Stone a few weeks back, I was smitten, loved it. A pure riding machine, very few modern touches, just enough, the old retro components have been brought upto date, using new materials used. When compared to the last Guzzi i rode in 1980/81, a Le Mans Mk 1, it felt the same but different, both ride the curves the same, like a train on rails. At the end of the test, my face aching from grinning so much, the problem now is which V7 to buy, Stay safe, Ride free.

If I took the simple, retro yet competent feel of my Royal Enfield Interceptor and blended it with the flair, the style and panache of my Vespa ... I would get the Guzzi. This could be a very good thing. I especially enjoyed your descriptions of it's long range comfort, I am an older rider and my interest in white knuckle riding is zero.
My 2014 V7 is very comfortable to ride for long periods on my bony butt. No complaints here, pull the trigger. This machine is only white knuckle if you force it, do the speed limit and you will be equally satisfied. There's something about it...

Guzzi's are the only bikes I know that will acutaly talk to you and become a part of you.They can handle a good fang thrashing and love it.
This bike will handle any style or ride you want. So easy to do your own servicing as well ,as mentioned very simplistic.

Thanks for the ride review. You answered a couple questions that have been bugging me. I remember being in Pierce Brothers Motorcycle Shop in San Antonio, Texas when the first V7 came out in the 60's.
I was completely mesmerized by that bike. I've not been convinced the newer V7's were going to be as good in Some respects with being a Small Block and all. Will it be comfortable or capable of interstate hwy speeds and such. But it appears that it should be quite comfortably capable. I live in South Central Texas and Interstates are a Huge part of my travel pathway. I love the idea of a larger tank size and the driveshaft (I think) is the way to go. My last 5 bikes have been shaft driven & I like it that way. I'm 71 and not in the best of shape but motorcycling is a passion for this old guy and I'm looking at the V7 as my next ride. I usually put on at least 75K miles before I consider trading out a bike. I'm hopeful the V7 will accommodate my neurosis.
I rode from OKC to Shamrock Texas and back with it and it was pleasant to do so.

They should put 6 gears on all the sub liter bikes. My t100 is nice too, but u can feel it would love to have another gear.
My old VMAX had shaft drive. It always seemed so different than chain or belt. Do they give you a center stand, unlike triumph. Ido like the seat shape, but I guess it keeps you in one position.

There are aftermarket center stands available, but they are not installed stock. That seat is great. Did a 404 mile ride in around 6 hours and it was comfy. This is the first motorcycle I did something like that on where I only stopped one for gas and then kept going and never felt beat up. Even my big Chieftain after the 291 mile straight ride I felt a little saddle sore.

Thoroughly enjoyed video., especially the in-depth subjective analysis. Seems like u connected more with the Guzzi than the CB 1100 ex. The 2021 Guzzi is now at the top of my Year long ever changing but steadying list : Speed Twin, RS 900, Street Twin, Interceptor (price n warranty ) and CB1100ex - no longer imported.
Some people were able to get 80whp out of this motor in the V85, can't wait to see if the same can happen here once somebody figures out the new ECU.

I live in New England and at 5.5 gal. and 70+ mpg you can cover a lot of distance. You maybe passed by sport bikes because almost all NE. roads twist, but you can work this little bike and you'll smile all the way. The suspension will gentle remind you when your pushing the limits. On your review I never is you leaning into a turn. You'd think you died and gone to heaven on our roads. I feel almost sorry for you! LOL Kind words about a little known bike.

I absolutely LOVE my new to me 2017 Moto Guzzi v9 Bobber. I love everything about it except the seat and the rear suspension. If i hit a bump doing above 50 mph I feel it all the way up my spine. In your opinion does the 2021 v7 handle bumps at legal interstate speeds? I'm on my third seat and have expensive aftermarket shocks. I'm a big guy weighing in at 230 lbs. I'm ready to trade for a new v7 to stay with Guzzi. Thanks ahead of time for your feedback.

Nice vid. Correction: it's not an inverted V engine it's transverse. It's not overhead valve, it's pushrod.
It IS an OHV engine design driven by pushrods.
Think about it Italians can build a scooter (Vespa )that with proper maintenance you can get 100k on it . So imagine how well built their motorcycles are..... just something to think about they take a lot of pride in the building process , am sold.🤔

I rode my V7 III just under 10,000 miles so far... many 300 mile days, this bike is truly amazing, like you said, it has a sole ... I saw i the past you rode the rV7 750cc bike, do you feel significant more power with the 850cc engine or very similar to the 750cc ? Would you upgrade from the 750 to 850 or not really that of an upgrade to make it worth while? Thx !
I love the new 850 on board these machines. The 750 engine would run out of steam a little earlier than one would want if they were looking for speed and power, but cruised well. The 850 just cruises well, with the added bonus it can accelerate out much better if that makes since. It's a much better pairing for the power/weight than before and to me makes it just perfect. I had a friend ride it for about two hours today and he agrees as he rode the V7 III as well. It's not like amazingly faster, it's just perfected but well worth the upgrade.

I love my III but its glaring fault to me is the way it runs out of steam when overtaking .
I have had a couple of "interesting " moments trying to get past a vehicle when something is coming the other way and you are just not getting past quickly enough.
On the Northern English backroads I ride there is just no room for error as they are very narrow with not a lot of long straights.
You can be in trouble before you know it.
I`m going for a test ride but think I have almost decided. The only doubt is a rumored new model and I hope it would be a roadster V85 with the full 80bhp
@@RabidHedgehog I had a v7 iii on which I covered over 6000 miles. I have just completed 1300 miles on my new v7 special. I loved the older bike but the new one has a much better engine, better suspension and handling, a noticeably lighter clutch, is more comfortable and has much better tyres. It has a seat height accessible to shorter riders unlike too many modern bikes and carries its weight low down. I can get nearly 250 miles on a tank of fuel. Most of all, the v7 850 develops its power lower in the rev range and gives much greater confidence, on back roads, in towns and on fast roads.
This is an authentic, practical bike with real character. It has power you can actually use without a mass of vulnerable electronics that few can really exploit. It’s a bike you can ride to its full potential and feel like you are controlling it rather than the other way round. The Guzzi v7 850 always leaves me with a smile and that it all you can ask of any bike.

Dragging knees and screaming through the breeze type of riding, get the RNineT. If you just want to ride and enjoy the world going by at a more normal pace the Guzzi. This is actually why I have the FTR1200 and the Guzzi is that I have one for each style.

Want to add joy of riding is highly subjective.I just re jetted my Honda CB750 and its like a whole different bike went from cool gentlemen to beast mode and I love it.I also have 1500 Vulcan and love that too. Sure Guzzi is a spectacular bike....but enjoying the ride can be on anything....Whats the point of my post? We get carried away the latest the greatest and keep buying things only to replace something else and never feeling satisfied....but buy an old bike and try to enjoy the ride and that may save of lot of money...
Inverted "V"? The engine is upside down?
Cylinders mounted 90 degrees to the horizontal axis of the frame (cylinders poke out each side of the bike instead of in-line with the frame).

Sir, that is a great question. It shows cautiousness. These are WONDERFUL bikes. They are not an intimidating bike. Short answer is this... Look for a smaller CC, lighter bike, that you develop a sense of what it is to be out on the road for about 5k miles. This will familiarize you with the nature of street riding. Dont spend a bunch of money on it either. Find a friend after 5k and give it to them so they can do the same. Then get a Guzzi. You will fall in love with the bike. It will probably be your last bike you own. You will also realize what you want out of the forever bike, riding the first one. The Guzzi will fill in all those holes, and you will have the experience to really appreciate it. Above all... Endorsement, and insurance before all of it.
Do you still own the Flying Fortress? Would love another review. I crashed my 2018 V7lll Carbon Dark, and after I am able to ride ( drive even). I'm trying to figure out a replacement.
If you had to choose between this and the V9 bobber, which would you choose and why?
The V7 due to the bigger fuel tank and the fact the engines are the same now.

Actually, the first v-8 motorcycle was built by Glenn Curtis of Hammondsport NY. He built several Curtis Motorcycles before going out of business but only one V-8.

Hey Rabid, do you still own this bike? I am interested in the V7 but I'm told that there are reliability issues, that parts and accessories are hard to come by, and that customer support from Guzzi is practically nonexistent. What has been your experience?
I don't have this one but I still have a Moto Guzzi in the V85TT and my local dealer has always been good at getting parts and getting things done. But I've never had non-start issues or anything weird ever occur with any of them.
@@RabidHedgehog That's good to hear, friend. Another question, please: These bikes have a dry clutch. I regularly go to a local parking lot to practice slow-speed maneuvers for a half hour or so. These practice drills require for the clutch to mostly be in the friction zone (with light pressure on the rear brake). Do you think such operating of a Goose V7 would be harmful to the clutch? I know it's harmless to all the bikes with a wet clutch. Thank you, sir.

It's fine actually! My wife has been on it a couple of times and she's comfy.
It's good with a pillion, it rides really nice two up.
I'm glad you asked. That's the only question I have about the bike. The saddle appears to be too short for two full-sized American adults (c'mon now, be nice). Is there enough room to move around at least a bit for two?
Makes me laugh when people say "Middle weight" When I first hit the road in the 1970's a 750 was classed as a big bike!

Two analog gauges vs the digital one... The headlight is "normal" not the winged logo shape. The spoked wheels however look great but are more of an issue... So I will give the stone credit for having better wheels
@@andrewhannam. It is my understanding the wire spoke wheels are actually tubeless. The mount points for the spokes are attached to the rim on the outside of the bead area. Rather ingenious and a long time in coming.
