Terri Cole is a licensed psychotherapist and global leading expert in personal empowerment. For two decades, she has worked with some of the world’s most well-known personalities, from international pop stars to Fortune 500 CEOs. She has a gift for making complex psychological concepts accessible and then actionable. With Sounds True, Terri Cole is the author of Boundary Boss: The Essential Guide to Talk True, Be Seen, and (Finally) Live Free. In this podcast, Sounds True founder Tami Simon speaks with Terri about how absolutely critical it is to have good boundaries. Terri shares the personal journey that brought her into this work, explores where our boundary blueprints come from, and gives us her five keys for self-mastery. Together Tami and Terri discuss why having healthy boundaries might very well be the apex of how humans can learn to put truth and truth-telling at the very center of our lives.

Thank you both for that brilliant interview.
Terri shares practical advice on how to say no to people and situations that it is difficult to say no to. In order to truly become free, liberated and let go of being a people pleaser.
She combines wisdom, love and experience, sharing what she learned with generosity and an open heart.
Tami is, as always, an extraordinary interviewer.
This conversation is a true gift.
I hope the book is highly successful.
    Terri, you deserve it.
    Hugs and blessings.

it helps women know their basic rights and needs and how to quietly and effectively assert them. Thanks Terri this means so much to me being an over giver. 🙏

Yes we not only safeguard our own rights and needs but also we stop colluding with the low point in others. Yes it legitimately empowers us to respond in an authentic way to be free to say what we mean to say and being polite at the same time. Tks 🙏

Very true. We repeat the same patterns we were raised with in our family of origin unless we course correct by some sort of intervention. and the sad part is we realise it too late till it had taken a toll on the next relationship. Each one of us needs to modify our own blueprint to make it work for us in a more fulfilling way to evolve into the person we admire deep within and with inner ease and peace.🤗🙏❣️

But what happens when you've asked the person to puck up the wet towel, they act like they understand, and then they leave it on the floor? Over and over?
