Really like your car mate!
My mk2f steil had two problems:
1. Water from the passenger side gloveboard. (Got a left hand drive)
2.Water from the roof sunwindow.
First one seems fixable by removing leaves. Second one is beyond my knowledge.

Looking peachy matey.
Good call removing the indicator tint. If you had kept it on you would have had to do the rears and side repeaters too.
BTW. You thinking about a bee sting aerial too?

Yeah I did think that, got to admit I liked the headlight but as soon as the indicators were fitted I knew the tint was coming off 😂 got a new aerial to go on! Just a normal replacement though

@@matimcfetridge bee sting is an easy fit. On my mk2 I just removed the tailgate seal, Un-picked the headlining edge about 30cm each way and it dropped enough to drill the hole. While the paint protection was curing I ran the wiring down the C-pillar, behind the rear side trim, under the carpet to the gearstick centre panel. Whole job took a couple of hours with the only scary bit being holding a drill bit over the roof!😳
