I always love your content Valentina, but I’d love for you to share how to decorate smaller spaces but without them being too cluttered, like smaller homes that don’t have huge family rooms and bedrooms, just your basic home, most of the homes are huge and when your limited with space it’s difficult to incorporate some of these things into a home. Exactly! I could fit my entire house in Valentina's bathroom. 😄
My house is 1054 sq ft. It lives much bigger but the transformation of space is limited.
In my experience, implementing most of the ideas and concepts that Valentina teaches is not by the size of your space.
Adding texture, bringing in plants, using baskets, storing in plain sight, using pillows... It doesn't matter what size of homes she features here. I live in England and it works well for me. I simply incorporate furnishing according to the scale of my home and it's a win!
Love watching Valentina..so knowledgeable! One suggestion, would be to show photos of less expensive homes. These photos seem very high end.
Loved this! You have taught me that when you do less in a room you really enjoy what you do have in the room. I sometimes struggle on what gets front & center of each room, so I find myself moving things from room to room. 🤪😂
My cats love my throw blankets so much that they drag them around the room. 🙀 Nice that they approve of my style!
This video was very helpful as a reminder of what’s important in not only refreshing a room, but also putting a room together. I’d like to see some videos on decorating smaller homes (mine is 1200 sq ft), and decorating tabletops, consoles, coffee tables, etc.

Fresh ideas needed for table decor and accessories
Great ideas, as always, Val. I think using pillow covers vs. owning a ton of pillows (I don't have room to store the ones I'm not using) is so smart. I have a few pillows I really like and use, and the inserts are a great size, so I'm going to remove the covers, sew zippers into each cover, and properly clean them and purchase new covers to switch them out. Thanks for all your suggestions! XO ❤️

Great ideas here. I would like to learn more about how to mix wood tones in a space. Things like flooring, baskets, picture frames and wood furniture in a way that looks elegant but not eclectic without looking too matching.

Video idea: We have four built in bookcases, two on each side of the fireplace. These take up a huge wall. I would love a tutorial and designer tips on how to style them all. We are a minimalist family, but still want it to look warm and welcoming. Maybe do a minimalist set up, and then a maximalist set up. The pro tips would apply for both, I imagine. Thanks.

I think normal bed pillows are cozy enough.

Great, informative video! The thing I struggle with are the finishing touches. I have the furniture, flooring, paint on the walls and a few decor pieces but always feel like the room is missing that extra something to make it feel "wow!". I guess that comes with practice and studying to be an interior designer so I shall keep watching your videos and hopefully it'll help! Much love from England 😊
Totally! I think it’s the details! Just got a lamp for the kitchen and it was unanticipated the effect it would have- and then it made sense when Valentina spoke on lighting! Those cozy details seem to really tie it together (and the lamp was $3 but doesn’t look like it!😀)

You really are a natural in front of the camera! Kudos to reminding us on these items that are really gamechangers. I really like when designers give feedback on subscribers spaces or even picking a topic like artwork and showing examples from Pinterest or wherever that this is the issue and how you would improve it.

I've "invested" in clear acrylic book ends for open bookcases and a stand to display an open art book on my coffee table. They are really useful without adding visual clutter to the space, something I struggle with. ❤️

In my living room, the green I use, is a patterned rug with that particular color. My throw pillows on the chair and couch, are a similar pattern with green. I added that cute chain like you have, but in green, placed on the entry table, for a complete look! Thank you, Valentina!

I’ve definitely seen a difference in how I shop and the mindset/intentionality behind my purchases since becoming a subscriber. Thank you! I love it when I see a new arrival on H&M or in Pottery Barn and think to myself “Valentina would buy that” and then it’s on your channel a few weeks later, LOL!
As far as where I struggle, I feel I actually need help knowing where to start. How to hire the right designer that will best reflect my style (wish you lived in my area) as well how to make the “big” decisions like furniture, paint and best layout for the room. I feel I get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start especially when trying to transform a home that’s already lived in vs. a new build. I also am constantly tempted to purchase decor before I’ve got these room basics in place and then get into a cycle of purchase, donate, repeat when I can’t ever get anything to come together. But great advice on going wall by wall or surface by surface to feel some progress is being made.
