    Can’t shake that feeling of fatigue? Chronic fatigue syndrome is a chronic illness characterized by extreme fatigue that lasts for more than six months. This fatigue cannot be explained away by an underlying medical condition. In fact, one of the disease’s principal challenges is that it’s impossible to diagnose with laboratory tests. However, some physicians believe it is closely related to adrenal fatigue or system-wide inflammation of the body.
    In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, Jordan Rubin shares 5 steps to overcome chronic fatigue syndrome. By eliminating certain foods, getting enough vitamins and nutrients and incorporating more peace and relaxation into your lifestyle, you can help beat the fatigue and regain your energy. Watch to learn more.

    1. Remove foods that you are sensitive to / have allergies to.
    2. Increase b vitamins, esp b5.
    3. Increase potassium and magnesium intake.
    4. Bone broth (collagen boost), proline and glycine, increases gluthatione(?)
    5. Find peace and relax.
    I would add the iodine protocol, vit d and k2.

      vitamin K2 is NOT involved in clotting - K1 aka K - is the one involved in clotting. K2 is involved in managing calcium transport into teeth and bone. Please read about this so you will understand for yourself and others. Loads of papers on PubMed.

    A few years ago I was bedridden almost 24/7 but then I learned I have the MTHFR and other mutations relating to histamine and vit D processing and that changed everything! I was dx'd with MCAS (hyper immunity) and have had chronic fatigue my entire life. Today I grow my own food, run a sled dog team recreationally and have a full life. I use quercetin, NAC, methylfolate, vitD, baking soda/potassium bicarb (diy antihistamine) and low dose aspirin. Please don't give up and keep looking for root causes. We're all different but many of us have MTHFR and it needs to be addressed.

    I'm in bed right now 1:30 just had barely enough energy to make breakfast and I'm so darn sleepy all day long it's not until my third meal that I even have a little bit of energy to shower and then it's back to bed....
    It feels like it's a little bit more complex than what the video is representing it seems like there's some kind of a shutdown in my brain that just doesn't want to wake up.
    And then having an immune system that catches things very easily.
    The digestive system is definitely affected and my heart is getting weaker and weaker from all this laying around.

    Great information! I completely agree with #5 "build peace and relax." Perhaps it is the most important aspect.
    While 'reading scripture' may be helpful for some, a non-secular approach may work better for others if they haven't had previous experience with religion.
    Personally I have experienced great results with Qi gong practice that creates the feeling of peacefulness and helps the body and mind "unwind."

I have suffered from chronic fatigue and depression all my life and I tried all five and the only thing that lifted the fog and gave me energy and vitality is ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN COCONUT OIL. You can take as many as six table spoons until you feel better, which will be days and in my case immediately. Put it in tea, coffee, soups, on potatoes, etc. its is virtually tasteless, so it will not alter the taste of your tea or coffee.

      Peace Dove, I know you mean well, but Exercise is dangerous to recommend to people suffering from the actual real illness 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome' (ME/CFS) because it triggers an autoimmune attack on the byproducts/metabolites produced during exercise.
      It's called 'Cross reactivity' where the immune system mistakes a metabolite as a foreign pathogen and sends antibodies to attack it. Making the person even sicker. Called 'Post Exertional Malaise' PEM.
      Each time the patient exercises it also makes the immune system attack even harder the next time the person exercises or exerts themselves.
      All the science now is showing that people who have this PEM cannot and should not exercise, unless they know the very small amount of exercise they can do that doesn't trigger PEM.
      Most people with normal fatigue that 'feels chronic' but don't get PEM, they are fine to slowly increase their exercise levels as that's not the actual disease.
      However many people with real ME/CFS might not realise they have PEM because it can take up to 48 hours after exercise/exertion to feel the worsening of symptoms. Some people can go for years without connecting that is the cause of their constant relapses.

      @@peacedove9513 people who truly have chronic fatigue syndrome can't even take a showe, or cook food, let alone exercise. And exercising makes them much worse-for days. Educate yourself.

    Thanks J appeciated your inputs and suggestions to help us all cope. I lived through that. It was known primarily as M.E. Dr Judy Mokovitz gives a more indepth cause or origin of that issue. 💡 CFS was one the symtoms amongst many other symptoms. Likewise it seemed to lead to fibryomyaligia.
    Yes the elimination eating plan was found to work best for most M.E. patients to regain an improved lifestyle.
    Its a debiltating condition brought about by infiltration.💡

    I wish people from these natural health pages would describe the difference between chronic fatigue and chronic fatigue syndrome. They are not the same and people with actual CFS suffer as a result. Having fatigue chronically is not chronic fatigue syndrome. THE TWO ARE NOT THE SAME - and this requires a multi faceted approach to healing or cure. You’re listing things that a lot of people with CFS were already doing before they got the disease.

    • @leahvibes
      @leahvibes 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And I’ll also add - there’s always a mention of bone broth: handy given Dr. Axe sells his own bone broth. How ironic.

    I feel like there is a misperception in this video when you say "people with chronic fatigue are miserable, they don't want to get out of bed and they don't know why". I think you are confusing chronic fatigue with depression. I both depression and chronic fatigue (fatigue was from chemotherapy and not trauma). I can tell the difference between my tiredness from my depression vs tiredness from my chronic fatigue. Tiredness from depression is when I don't want to get out of bed and face the world. Where I become too lazy to do anything and I don't know why.
    Chronic fatigue however, is when I want to go to the gym, then work, then see my friends, but however cannot because my body holds me back. It is not being able to have a normal job because long hours kill my brain, unable to study for over an hour because my brain shuts down, not being able to do too many things with my week otherwise my body starts having flu like symptoms to warn me to stop overworking it. And if I dont listen to the warning signs, I do infact get sick.
    there is a HUGE difference between depression tiredness & chronic fatigue tiredness, and what is described in this video is depression.

    • @zzz-cb3xe
      @zzz-cb3xe 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I disagree. I have a chronic depression and my body refuses to works.... It is not laziness.... It's a true depression connected with fatigue, just because you experience it that way... Does not mean everyone else has the same experiance

      Clive Worth I'm not here to be the perfect knowledgeable person but I know what you mean by those who do unhealthy things like take smoking or drinking alcohol, and I personally know that alcohol is not good for most people, but I've known people who have either had their three cigarettes a day or two shots of alcohol a day and they ate red meat and barely any vegetables or fruit and then they lived until they were 90 years old or whatever. Good for them and I hope that they had fulfilling and happy lives! But some of us have certain kinds of syndromes or conditions or viruses that we must live with and conquer with the healthy choices that we make! And I've been there and I've educated myself and then had to sometimes educate my doctors about how I felt about certain things and when I needed to change my medications. So my philosophy is to live life as well as possible! Aloha!

    • @imaniman1256
      @imaniman1256 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Portia Phillips, i was initially diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, because my symptoms where similar, but deep down i knew i didnt have CFS and we adopted a cat not that long ago before my symptoms began and she use to pass worms but i never thought of it. when i went to the doctor for the third time i convinced her to refer me to infectious disease doctor and then the ID dictor asked me if i hadn't travelled to thirdworld country, i provably dont have parasites, but she dud some blood work and a stool sample and ofcourse they both came back negative. so disappointing but i didbt give up after 5 stool samples that all came back negative she assumed i have postpartum depression and suggested i should see a doctor regarding that, but i ignored her and started ordering food grade diatomaceous earth and that is when they came out in 100s. and i took some of them to the ID doctor who thought i was crazy and she diagnosed me with Ascariasis and gave me 3 doses of Albenza which did nothing, but she believes am just seeing things and its impossible to still have then after the Albenza. Now i have stopped going to the doctor for more treatment i just got tired of being misdiagnosed and mistreated am going to see an ND doctor once i stop breastfeeding.
