tagged you in one of my older posts on Instagram. A very similar Nobel that came into my work a few years ago.
"we didnt get the ford mondeo v6 in the USA" uhh sorry freddie but you did. it was called the ford contour SVT.
nobles arent that rare in the USA: Rossion bought the rights to make the noble in the USA. its now the Rossion Q1
Welcome to the supercar rebuild club! Also, I'm sorry. :)
Only way you were going to finish it 😂
Super car club because Jack's a super guy?
Thank you thank you...i'll be here all week.
Well, not much has changed. Except Jack doing it for himself!
...How goes the wiring?...
There's no need to be sorry about this, it's such a cool car. I'm a bit ahead of myself but how about a TVR next!
@@duncancampbell3673 Oh gees... I am wishing Jack was able to get ahold of the Car Trek TVR now...
"Freddie bought this car over a year ago with the intention of rebuilding it"... a tale as old as time lol. I'm hoping Jack is the man to actually finish all of these projects. Just don't go crazy over the top like the Evo.
To be fair jack has a better track record at finishing building cars 😂
Jack is THE man to get this done. And, to be fair, most of the parts needed to bring one car forward are there. Now all it needs are the blood, sweat and tears. I hope Jack is. Now well stocked up with these key ingredients…
I gave Jack my P1 and twin turbo Lamborghini, coming soon!
400 dollars he brought this for, sourcing parts rare as hell NOBLE UK STILL SELLS PARTS
If he's gonna go over the top this is the car to do it whit, they are badass cars
jack that engine was fitted to the ford mondeo st220 in the uk. and they are a good engine but suffer from timing chain problems, i have one had a light rattle and just let go and destroyed the top end most used engines ive found are listed as having chain noise, might be worth changing it before putting the engine in they aren’t difficult to do
So like the Alfa Romeo they stretch the timing chain
Same engine in the Ford Fusion here - which was the US version of the Mondeo.
Great advice last thing Jack needs is an engine blow up on a finished project.
Is this more of a mileage issue than anything else? There are no timing chain issues reported in the Noble realm with these cars. The engine isn't just a drop in st220/Jaguar/Ford (insert a few models), Noble rebuild them all for lower comp and oil squirters to take turbo charging amongst a host of other small changes. Can't say i've heard of many Nobles in the 100-150k+ mileage range, maybe that's where chain issues start?
sounds like u didn’t do the preventative maintenance on it lel
So glad the Noble is finally getting build, I've been waiting for this since Freddy announced it ages ago!
Maybe build it fire proof or at least install an extinguishing system. Maybe Freddy should put floaties on his car too. 😂
Ye, he should start with fire ext system just for kicks.
Give it some good seals, water tight engine company, etc and it will float just fine. It already kind of did before.
I guess Jack won’t be sleeping much for awhile but atleast we get TH-cam videos! 😂
I was thinking the exact same thing when I read your post. This car is going to be a while... but hey, content!
@@TheRealAlpha2 super rare, super British and fire damaged… it’s like he loves the punishment 🤷♂️
Having a friend who relatively recently lost his Noble M12 in a fire too, this will be a good series!
I'll buy it
From my sample size it seems 2/3 irl nobles I've heard of have caught fire.
I think one of the things to install should be fire surpression.
27 on trending nice work dude. Freddy is a real bro for hooking you up. regardless of how the deal was done that title and the clicks it brings must be super helpful to the channel not to mention the first video was half made.
Wish I would’ve seen this sooner I would’ve taken a screenshot of it!
A friend of mine has a Noble 400, you are in for a real treat when you have the car finished, they are superb driver’s cars, to put it into perspective he vastly prefers driving the Noble to his F430 Scuderia, just the most amazing car 👍
Oh man. Get ready. I rebuilt M400 chassis #128 about 10 years ago. Many of the parts I had to source from Rossion. The good news is a good amount of the structure is just 1" square tubing. Aligning and fitting the front clamshell was a pain in the ass. I think I still have a spare windshield around somewhere. Rossion would only sell me a crate with two at the time. 😂
Apparently the Lotus Elan has the same window
Is Rossion still around?
I've been lucky enough to berm driven in one , they are crazy fast and was told a drivers car .
You are so lucky , do you still have it ?
@@itisjustacomment it was a customers car. I did get to drive it and it was just raw. I loved it.
I'm the lucky owner of a Noble GTO, and I can assure you all : it is AMAZING ! Credits to Lee Noble for creating such awesome car !
As a lover of Noble, you are going in my list of cool car owners.
Hey, can Jack, maybe umm, borrow your windscreen?? :D
@@murry001The windscreen is the same as on a Lotus Elan ;)
Nice!
Noble M12 is my ultimate dream car. I’ve always wanted one.
just can't get behind v6 cars no matter how their "built" ... straight 6s v8s v12s even 4 cylinders (except subaru junk) are all great but v6s are just bad , they sound bad , they aren't smooth they don't typically make any power they are just eh
If this is where abandoned tavarish projects go for a second life you can count me in. Excited to see where this project goes . Jack already has better screen presence than most automotive TH-camrs too.
It s an amazing project, but the thing that makes it special is that YOU will rebuild it, with your own quality standards. It will be incredible to see you working on this one. I was worried about the electrics but the red car seems to be complete, so let go for this new cool chapter in your channel. Great idea, Freddy, well done !
As a Brit who grew up worshipping the M12/M400, I'm really glad to see this car(s) finally getting worked on. It always made me feel slightly sad seeing the burnt-out car sat in the far corner of the shop in videos. Given how thorough Jack was with the Evo, I'm sure the Noble is in good hands. Can't wait.
I've been so excited for this build for a while now... Love and good luck for the UK👍👍
The Noble M400 was a blast. I was allowed to drive one in SW Florida years ago, and it was an absolute riot. Certainly a rare sight.
Freddie is just a good hearted guy.
Best gift 🎁 he could ever give to jack … or not 😂
That Noble would have been built in Barwell, Leicestershire on the industrial estate round the corner from my house, they've now moved up the road to Thorpe Astley in Leicester. Couple more fun facts, Ultima are built down the road in Hinckley as are Triumph Motorcycles.
Motor is out of a ford contour/Taurus here in the states. @Jack get the 6spd out of it they are problematic at the best of times. Get an MTX75 from a contour they are indestructible once you put a diff in them.
With friends like Freddy who needs enemies 😂 the way he wiped his hands and said “it’s all yours now bro” spoke volumes. 😂 I will follow this build all the way. Can’t wait to see Jack build it !!
Wow nice gift from Freddy! And Good luck Jack 😃
Being English I always wondered what happened to the noble build, in fact I spoke with a friend about it last week!
There is one locally to me in British racing green and it’s beautiful.
Good luck with the build Jack I can’t wait to see it finished.
I am so happy to see that you are going to attempt to rebuild the Noble. Ever since Freddy bought it i was curious to see how such a weird and low production car in such a bad state can be rebuilt. Good luck🍀
It will be a pretty cool car finished! Needs to be a Crazy Color with the right wheels!
I remember this car being shown on Freddies channel, but that was the first and last time he spoke about it. After the P1 I feared we would never hear from it again. So glad Jack will continue this project. Good luck with this unique project, Jack!
Happy you have taken this on as it needed to move forward it’s a great project 🎉
Tavarish likes you , that's good enough for me and plus I like your content. I can't wait to see more. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family. 😊👍🙏🏼🇺🇸
I only just heard about these cars during Covid. And this noble is quite a beast. Good luck. This is going to be an incredible series.
Oh, I'm really looking forward to Jack Building It. Awesome project.
This is going to be one hell of a series 💪🏻 good luck Jack
What a sweet project, can’t wait to see this drive again. Good luck Jack
I like the honesty! “I don’t have any money!” 😂 congrats on the new project and also Sorry for inheriting that big mess!! Can’t wait for the rebuild process m!
My friend owns a Noble next to Porsche’s, Lamborghini’s etc. The Noble is by far his favorite car. Excellent build! 👏⚡️🛠
This will be awesome when you finish it, Freddy is a great friend.
Gonna be a challenging build, can't wait to follow the progress!
We've been chewing at the bit awaiting Jack's next build. This is a surprise! Can we call it a poor man's Dino? It's the right colour, basic design and engine package: updated by 30 years of technology. For Jack's sanity, I hope there is a parts manual in existence. Mercifully, SEMA is a long way off, so that time crunch won't be weighing on him... Yet.
😂 yet
Jack is gonna finish all of Freddy’s unfinished projects 😅
Honestly, that would be so smart. Already have people invested!
SL55 AMG manual next please!
Audi R8 and Porsche 997 Turbo next!
@@redzone5655they are already doing the porsche which we will have videos in some time i guess
@@kushcactushouse3821 i would be more interested in that. Nobel… whats that? Not even the english care to repair those cars. Just saying not such a stream line interest or popular build.
As a leicester lad it's always good to see a noble! 💚🤟🏽 can't wait for this
going to love this build. and learn heaps too. you go Jack. what a Noble cause.
All the best with this jack. Looking forward to see how you get on with it
Give you a ton of credit Jack - I don't have the stones (or the skills) to take on something like this - really looking forward to the build!!
This will be amazing, your attention to detail on the Evo was spot on, noble should be a walk in the park, high five from the UK.
Great project Jack. Enjoy the build
Those nobels are cool. It's like if a dodge viper and a Porsche has a kid. Surprised to see one in America
Jack got a mighty car mod shirt let's gooo‼️💯🔥
Outstanding and awesome.Looking forward to the build series. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
I grew up in the uk from the 80s on and these cars were cool, can’t wait to see it finished
Whoa!! Talk about jumping head long into it! This is awesome! I am excited to follow along with this!
You and Freddy are a beacon of positivity. We seem to be in an era of "Can't"...and personally, I've had enough of the "negative waves Moriarty". If you know "Kelly's Heroes", you know... If not, well screw you!! I am so excited to see you take on this restoration of 1/75... Well... 1/73 now.. Lol. But I know that with your powers combined, you're better then captain planet any day... Thank you so much for sharing this revival journey with us all and don't ever change your movie quoting, 2000's era singing. And most importantly never loose the confidence in your ability to teach us your knowledge and increase your skills by " Wrenching Daily".
Love to see how @tavarish is helping his friend Jack, who really deserves it, to build his channel. Keep up the great work, love your vids, very informative. A guy with passion at work!
Every time a TH-camer finishes a build an angel gets its wings
Congrats on 108 k subscribers Jack! Absolutely love your videos.
Amazing! About time as well 😅. Big star car in the UK, make sure you hit the forums when you need to know what 1980s European Renault a bearing housing came from 😂
Yessss. I love Jack's content! Can't wait to see this unfold bro
VERY excited for this Noble build!!!!
Very cool build, very excited for the coming video's!!
Yes loving this one, Freddy’s a real one 💙
Awesome, can't wait to watch it's progress
Great project Jack, I’m very excited to see this one come together. Good luck. 🤩❤️
Love it 😍 Such a project can’t wait to see it finished 😎
Jack this is so great for you huge project also!!
Yes!!! I was hoping to see the Noble again!
You got this Jack!!!!!
This journey will be awesome and I’m glad to be part of it brother
Looking forward to this build. Cant wait to see the next episode :)
Soooo fired up for you!!
I'm so excited to see this done right!
Starting to think these 2 just need to move to the UK 🤣 they have a love for everything British
@@dannytipple1232 I was thinking reliant scimitar
The car is from south Africa, not UK.
@@JohnDoe-zr6bk Nobel is a British car company, made in a shed in Leicester
@@dannytipple1232.....annnnd they're dead
@@JohnDoe-zr6bkno it isent it's from a shed in the uk
Thanks you to share all this with us.
You're amazing, the evo bodywork was so clean.
I love the way you work hard for a perfect result.
Wish you the best for these projects.
Don't forget to take care of yourself!
Good luck Jack! Youre gonna need it 😉
Can't wait to see the parts series on this build. Please do it!
Can’t wait to see how Jack tackles this one, but I know for sure he’s going to make it look killer!
Awesome! You are the man Jack.
I’m actually super pumped to see this project going, Godspeed Jack !
Bro I’m super excited for this build!! Can’t wait!!
Can't wait for this project! Good luck jack your going to make this amazing 🙌🏻
Congratulations, Jack. This may put your TH-cam channel on the mainstream build algorithms. I prefer the less well known, quirky, excellent cars than what Freddy is into. Time to make a name for yourself. Just do an excellent build without going too radical. We all fantasize about this kind of project, something exotic but obtainable. Good luck.
Just what Jack needed another turbo car. Bring on the Power 🔥
one word....INCREDIBLE!
Super stoked for this build dude. When it's done, we gotta hit the track!
Seen a few of these on the roads across here in the UK. Great cars and look forward to watching this build 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love it! Can't wait!!
He happy to see that project Jack, congratulation for your channel!!!
Seeing this car in games and on top gear I'm so stoked for this build.
Looking forward to following this build. REPerformance doing one also which is also a great watch.
Sick! I've been waiting to see this one go through the rebuild process. As a layman this looks near impossible to me. Goodluck!
Lmaooo same just gotta make sure it holds 😂 if you hit anything it’s the same 😭😭
Hi,
The actual engines were developed by Noble motor sport in Chesterfield England.
You should speak to Mike there.
They are not affiliated with Noble cars but are are an amazing resource.
That is actually a cool bill. It’s kind of like a kit car so I think it would be easy to take apart and put back together.
Hope u finish the project buddy cannot wait for it
OMG!! MightyCarMods T-Shirt!! Moog & Marty!! Look at you getting stylish, Jack!! Aussies represent!! 😁
Looking forward to this journey 👍🏾🤘🏽👏🏾
So looking forward to this one guys .👍
Incredible project, I always loved these cars too!
All the best for the project.
Oooooh am I excited for this build. Definitely sound daunting but piece by piece it'll get there.
Go on Jack cany wait to see this done
I always loved the Noble M400, M12 GTO and Rossion Q1. Looking forward to seeing this project unfold
Absolutely more Jack!
Been waiting for this build for ages. Brought my M400 over to New Zealand from South Africa just gotta get it registered now.
