Plan on hunting southwest Minnesota for pheasant this season. I've hunted grouse on the northern border for years, but this will be something new.
Saw more last year than you could possibly imagine. All winter long and into the spring literally saw hundreds driving some days. Groups of up to 30 all over the place. Got one with the trusty jeep haha, made great pheasant cordon Bleu. I plan on hunting with a gun and dog this year though haha. Good luck, not that you'll need it with how many I'm seeing here in sw Minnesota.
I'll be dog less for the first time in 14 years. My Griff died last October. I told him to "Stay". But I guess he didn't hear me. RIP Magoo. @@alexbeatty318
Already looking to 2022 season, nothing better than running dogs on upland game. My English Setter loves watching these shows with me.

Such a shame to shoot a rooster when all you are seeing are hens.. what has happened to all of the roosters?

Why does MN only allow hunt of roosters
One rooster can create multiple birds, one hen can create one bird if you know what im saying
I don't know of any state that allows harvesting of "Wild" hens. And I don't mean hunt clubs or state run put and take hunting areas.
