Love to see the purple shells, 16 gauge. My first gun 54 years ago from my dad and grandfather before me a Remington model 31 16 gauge. Now I Use a 1960 model Browning sweet sixteen alot and of course SBE 12 gauge.
So if this landowner can produce this many birds, where does problem lie with the significant decline of birds overall?? Farming practices of today focus less on game management and proper habitat. Add in the pesticides and herbicides having a direct affect on poult production, well. You get it.
Where I live in SD, I see pheasants everywhere. Once, I saw 100’s of them flying at once, 100’s.
I like to have a contact to this farm owners and visit this property for hunting next year.
Wow, what a spot! What a hunt! Just great to see and hear what a conservation minded family can create and sustain over the years. Awesome video!
Thanks for watching!
This is getting me so excited to go to SD this year. I can’t wait!

Great video! Love to see there are still wild birds out there!
I live in South Dakota and went pheasant hunting today and we walked one field and it had 500 birds in it
Good hunting 👍🏿
Looked like a great spot
My friend mark is taking me to Terrie's farm tomorrow to hunt the ever elusive pheasant
Beautiful! I have to go to SD. Were you guys using steel shot?
There is so many pheasants by my house that 2 days ago a accidentally threw a gourd at one.
What type of gun was that at 4:00 minutes? Great videos!
I also think I walked that field before
Holy shit are you guys bad shots
Flushed 1000, shot at 200, hit 5. The ammunition alone must have cost these guys a fortune.
auto loaders seem to average about four shots per bird. want to shoot better? get single or double shot gun.
