There is a funny story. I was in Bosnia in my hometown, and driving my friend in 812 GTS. Seeing a badge on passenger side, his first reaction was: "Look, 812 and all red GTS." Referencing on all red TDI. :D
My assumption is that the car is very light and the engine is very well built, so at low revs it is easy for the engine to drive the car forward so it doesn't need a lot of power. The new conventional cars are of the same or heavier weight but the engines are small and it is difficult for theam to carry the machine forward so the fuel consumption is larger.
It is aerodynamic, light, has long gears and it has low friction of components (with eco tyres it would be even more efficient, but it would not be any good in terms of handling).
I’m getting rid of my daily and start looking for a Ferrari for my 60 miles daily commute to work 😆……. I just need to find £120k 🤣 It’s definitely better on fuel than my AMG’s are. Another great video Aziz!
I mean, why not? It takes a certain amount of energy to move an object from point A to point B in a given time. The power of the engine doesn't matter if it's not being used. The car is light and slippery through the air, I think.
Ive got the maserati quattroporte with a version of this engine in. Mine is the 3.8 v8. Its 550bhp in my maserati but i absolutely love it because its huge to fit my family in. Your ferrari is a unusual colour never seen that colour before what made you buy that colour?
I enjoy your videos, however Trump is not only a conman, he is also a moron and a criminal. Woke just means you know history and aren’t a racist misogynist like Trump. EV run on renewables allows clean air and climate change is real whether you understand the science or consequences or not. Maybe do some research?
I did the research and have been learning about it for years. Currently, it’s not clear whether it will be hydrogen or e-fuels-nobody actually knows what will happen. Electric seems to be the cheapest to produce, which is why it’s being favored, but it’s not currently better for the environment. Where does the electricity come from in most cases?
@ as civilised nations move towards renewables then the energy is clean. Eventually petrochemical companies will not be required for energy production. 488 my favourite non current Ferrari. Hydrogen leaks and is not efficient for transportation, also 95% is made using fossil fuels (methane), so correct battery powered vehicles are our future.
One of the most beautiful cars, very nice color. But the information about gasoline consumption is wrong. The car consumes much more gas. About 16 liters (100 km) in normal driving as in the video.
Idk how much to believe the first pump click. In my Mercedes I got 3 liter more in it after, in the Passat even 6 Liters. 6.7l/100km seems a bit far unrealistic for a V8😂
No way that is correct, and u didnt floor it once, drive it for a week, with everyday cold starting and driving it as normal people do,ramp up 300 or 400 kilometers and then fill it up,or use whole gas tank and then fill it up,i bet numbers will atleast double up and more, that is propper test and not the way u do it,warmed up car and doing only 50 km,lol
I did the test, this is the result. I was just showing a fuel test, not a full review. Also it was traffic up and down but mostly avg speed of 90kph and i never floored it
Trump might won elections in the US, but here we still have Von Der Leyen who is supposed to be in the right wing but she's woke... Our car brands are sinking down and these stupid politicians just give a fuck about it. I fear it could be late for em even if we go the right way again.
Nice car. Still not even close to a 1.9 TDI (with red DI), but nice overall.
Nothing has a chance against the 1.9 TDI :D
@@azizdrives proven ground
You mean the 1.9 TDI (RED DI) with 670 hp??
1.9 tdi > 488 gtb

The spec is just insane, what a good taste !

0:35 successor, not predecessor bro. Good vid as always 👌
my apologies you are right, predecessor of the F8 and successor to the 458
Damn the car looks incredible in that color.
I love your car enthusiasm brother. Love your videos

Another great video Aziz!
There is no way you are in volketswil and I have been watching you for such a long time, I live here in volketswil!! Cool to see
Such a nice spec , the owner really has immaculate test
(Edit) DAMN I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT RESULT insane to think the TT V8 uses so little
Aziz improving day by day💪💪💪
im giving my best
The colour looks insane but not with the black wheels…
the color is insane, man💢💢
Great vid Aziz, but always use the same pump at the beginning and the end of the test. Still a good result!
I found out that the head is almost always from the same supplier in switzerland.
Damn that's impressive!
Aziz you going to be a successful youtuber very soon ! Stay true my friend
Aziz this is phenomenal, keep up this shit! 😅
Will do that bro
Fantastic video. Thanks.
Nice video as always ! What's the button you pressed on the door at 10:30 when exiting the car ?
Fuel trap opens with a button
He opened the fuel lid.
That's incredible!!! Who would have thought this Ferrari could be that economical?
we love you aziz
It consumed 6,86l/100km, not bad
1.4 tsi seat leon is at 7.6 - 8 l
I think I’ll sell it and buy a 488 GTB
@ What the… How you manage to get those numbers? When I floor my Golf 1.5 tsi I get 6 to 6.5l/100km
@@ThenameisOskarcylinder deactivation
@@Bryan-nx8zt COD makes barely a difference. I'm getting it turned off, its annoying
I cam confirm, my 488 also shows "FEHLERMELDUNGEN" here and there. 😂 (that arent really existent)

Mad engine lights my Ferrari always had....😂 Still, the most fantastic car brand on the planet!
Are you filming with iPhone hha, good vid
yes those fuel videos are easy and quick i do dthem with the iphone
Man 1:10 , thats C63 its soooooo beautiful
Thats insane! My Quattroporte needle goes one point down after like 10 kms from gas station lol!!!🤣🤣
That is unbelievable😍
the legend came with a ferrari this time ! show them that we dont need the electric vacuum cleaners as cars 😛

What happened to Ferrari design... Great video as the usual!
Successor is after. Predecessor is before.

Impressive, tho my suzuki swift can manage less than 4 liters per 100km and its NA, baby! Might be a bit down on power tho.
Let’s see Paul Allens fuel economy
Hahahha
THATS 42 MPG FOR UK OR 36 MPG USA
thanks man, got an excuse to buy a Ferrari 488 now😂
Dream car would be a Roma just because of the price tag vs technology available otherwise i would buy a Portofino
Aight. I am going to sell my 308 diesel and buy a 488.
how come its so low??
Insane 🤌🏻🇮🇹
Only 6.6l/100km thats crazy whattt, my bmw does 9-10l/100km.....

@@minovskiilija i did the test, this is literally the result of the test. It could be that its because its only 50km but thats literally what it used…
No way its 16 liters on normal driving lol. The 458 didnt even use that much, and it had worse consumption then this.
So whats that in MPG? UK and USA use MPG. 6.6L to 100km means mothing to us
Google it...
A Turkish proverb says: Every beauty has a flaw. 😉

if there isn't a problem with the car, it ain't a Ferrari.
Hey, pls try VAZ2107
aziz drives....a koenigsegg ?
aziz drives.....a bugatti ?
🪽🪽🪽
Surprising to be honnest 😅
More or less same as my mk8 gti in mixed driving lol
Better fuel economy than my Peugeot Rcz 🤓
Let's be real, we all searched for the 488 gtb fuel consumption. But the 1.9 tdi has more character.
Why didn’t they use this info to advertise the car?
I dont understand..does the ferrari always have problems or does it never have problems??
It has always a problem
@azizdrives ahhh okay 🙂
Nice, i agree 100%, electric car nobady dont know what hapened?!
My 2010 wrx uses 13L/ 100km 😂 pretty bad for a 4 cyl
@azizdrives Come to Albania bro ill let u do a tour in my 1.9tdi and also fuel test. 🇦🇱Keep up been here since ur begining👑
Why it looks so old 😭 (front)
It looks timeless
42mpg?
looks fenomenal, BUT quallity ir tragic as typical italian car.
My w211 270 uses more wtf😮😂
maaaan fuck, what for an accomplishment!!
1,4 ton..? More like 1,6

A big lie
Its actually 9 km / l
okey, tell me how you calculated it, because i took the 3.75 divided by 56km and then times 100km so we are at 6.69l so you tell me how is it a lie
