- In this video I'll be showing you how to make an awesome Discord server in under 5 minutes. The fastest way to create a Discord server is to use a server template. This allows you to create a Discord server with the channels and roles already set up, including permissions.
When you set up your Discord server you will want to create info channels. Info channels provide necessary information that members need to know, such as server rules and roles. The easiest method is to write out the information and send it in the dedicated chat. Alternatively, you can use webhooks and embedded messages.
We also show you how to set up Discord automod for your server. Automod is a useful feature as it prevents suspicious messages from being sent in your server. If you aim to create a community Discord server then automod will help staff moderate your server and keep it safe.
