And there, standing in that police commissioner's home, is when Matt realized he didn't want to be a police officer at all; he wanted to be a criminal. And that is how Derren Brown created the scourge of London known as the "Jack in the Box" burglar, believed to be responsible for hundreds of burglaries in and around London during the last several years.

If Derren Brown ever decided to become a super villian then we’re fucked

Derren is like the inverted Black Mirror director. Instead of feeling sick and sad for days I feel joy and love. Never stop doing what you do, Derren. Its beutiful.

The moment when Matt stands up and says ' I will land the plane ' is by far the best moment . He thought it was all real and even if then plane crashed he would still live on as a heroic failure . He did his best .

I can kind of see why people doubt this show (especially the specials like this one) but honestly I think there’s just something too genuine in the reactions and such for it to be faked.

Sometimes I just want to be in a Derren Brown show. But that train scared the crap out of me.

I'd pay serious money for a treatment with Derren because what he does for people is wonderful.

That was incredible and I cried like a baby at the end! Also Derren Brown thanks a lot for putting these up for those of us trying to entertain ourselves, it’s kind of you and much appreciated 👍

That ending has put tears in my eyes. Seeing his girlfriend overwhelmed with emotion is a killer.

If only there were more entertainers that had the heart of Derren... we could change the world. He's the REAL hero in my book :) thank you!

Finally, Alien abductions explained !!😀 It was Darren all along. On a serious note, Darren is the true king of "Go Big or go home." I'm very inspired.

I didn't see this the first time around. Both incredibly emotional to watch and inspiring. You really can achieve anything with belief in yourself, your incredible capabilities and a dollop of courage. A brave guy is Matt. Sorry I'm ten years late congratulating everyone involved.
