We Trekked in the Himalayas up to 3000m Altitude | Playing Cricket at the top of a mountain India 🇮🇳

- In part 2 of this adventure we are trekking in the Himalayas near Dharamshala India up to a height of 3000 meters above sea level (and we played cricket for the first time at the top of a mountain!). This hike was 7km straight up from out campsite up to the Iceline and it wasn't easy. The Altitude definitely made it difficult. We camped in zero degrees, drank many more chai masalas, played cricket, and ate delicious home-cooked Indian food! This adventure was one of our greatest of all time hands down.

Oh wow okay thank for sharing! 👍
Id like to see like a bunch of people or youtubers or something racing from one tip of India to the other and doing challenges along the way, imagine starting off in the foothills of the tallest mountains on Earth, passing through snowing valleys, pine forests, rainforests, thick jungles, plains and crop fields, large and small cities, rural villages, deserts, green hills, beaches, rivers, temples, palaces and so much more until you reach the Southernmost tip of India, where you realise thats not actually the Southernmost point of India!
You still have islands to see ;)
hum, there is something like that i'v seen. There's like this challenge usually from aussies and kiwi's doing a tuk tuk race. But yes, agree, that would be a cool thing to see.
haha sounds like a really fun idea! Also a really great way to see all different parts of India :)
15:32 Indians can literally play cricket anywhere 😂😂😂😂😂 I can't...
It was a pretty awesome place to learn to play cricket! :)
Hi Tulika, do you know what 'tullu' means in Kannada? Your name reminded me of that.
@@digitalartist779 and you remind me of a Tayandiru..
@@tulika_9519 what is Tayandiru?
Very beautiful place Himalaya and mountain ❤
We agree!
What!!! You are surrounded by nature, so nice to wake up to wow amazing, keep leaving your best life. Great vlog as always. Thanks for sharing 😊
thanks for watching Aranya, it sure was an unforgettable experience 🥰
It's pronounced as "Him Aa lay"
which means abode of snow.
thanks for letting us know :) also I did not know thats what it meant! cool!
Great vlog. Love the cricket on the snow😂. The Himalaya mountains look beautiful. I am really enjoying following your travels in India😍.
Thanks for following along and for all the support
Wonderful vlog guys. Incase if yours time permits do explore these beautiful destinations near Dharamshala - bir billing, dalhousie, khajjiar, chamba, Palampur, manali, naggar and kangra. Take care 🙂
wow thank you for the tips, sadly we dont have time this trip but we will keep those locations in mind for next time :)
The Beauty of Himalayas is unmatched…❤
very beautiful indeed!
The mountain range in Dharamshala is called the Dauladhar Range, its not as high as the actual Himalayas but obviously extremely high nonetheless lol. Behind the Dauladhar range is the Chamba Valley, and behind that is the actual Greater Himalayan range. Reo Purgyil, the highest peak in Himachal Pradesh state is just below 7000 metres. Also i realised every other Himalayan state actually has a higher peak lol.
interesting, thanks for sharing
Technically It is part of the Himalayan ranges
@@21Danieltbs its foothills of Himalayas
@@thethreespikes9737 So your feet are not part of your body?
@@21Danieltbs I was agreeing with you.

@@KeithandDev I just recommend you to must go somd places that will realise you that India is not same all over the country .As an Indian even I didn't went much in India but I know this country is whole world. Some of my suggestions that prove my words are :-

3. Most rainfall area :- All northeastern states of India
4. Snow/Valley :- Kashmir
5. Plateus - South India
6. Plains :- Haryana ,Punjab , Uttar Pradesh

And India had an island too!!
8. Islands - Andaman & Nicobar islands, Lakshadweep

Great Video, hope you have taken your trash back down. Please do encourage others as well to keep the mountains clean with your videos.
we always do leave no trace camping which means you bring out everything you brought in. :) we were pretty impressed for the most part with how clean the area was for how much traffic it gets. Hopefully it keeps it up!
Awesome view
Yes it was! :)
Normally I watch videos at 2x but i had to switch to 1x cuz its so wholesome.
Awww thanks for watching 🥰
Beautiful 🎉❤️
I am a local. It takes me about 2.5 hours to reach Triund with 15 kg bagpack. I have crossed over to Chamba and into the Pir Panjal range many times and it is quite an experince. Next time if you visit after Monsoon, you can try doing Indrahar Pass from snow line onwards
The pass sounds like a really great idea! also thats impressive timing in getting to the top!
What an awesome experience. You got such beautiful weather. And the game of cricket sure added to the specialness of your day.
The cricket sure did make it a really memorable experience :) thanks for watching Libby 🥰
The Himalaya mountain's views are many beautiful from the sky. Amazing the different that places of India. Kashmir places are falling in the Amazing this watching from Northeast India.

I don't think its a good idea to put tent in random places without research. I hope you done that . Look we are billion people not all are same and india has many wild animals including leopards , snow leopards etc ...
We camped with a company called Manu Adventures that has a campsite on the mountain already. It was really well organized and very safe :)
Whts with this chai obsession... I mean all these vlogers cm here jst to drink chai i guess 😂
Tht hot chai in cold mountains and some maggiee.. ❤
Hahaha we don’t have chai like this at home. But now we’ll be making it!

Is Dev not a Indian name??
I think it is your right :) my full name is actually Devon
If it's possible then please visit andaman and nicobar island🏝, one of most beautiful beaches are there, untouched nature, Cristal clear blue water and also the world's last untouched, ancient, uncivilized tribe in there, so you can't go there😅 but andaman and nicobar is going to impress you, there has many things to explore whether it's sault water crocodiles, forests, many islands, deers, 🤔light house! 😁 I just want to say give it a visit.
Yes we’ve heard of those, however they will have to wait until next trip! 😊
🙂🙌
🏔️🇮🇳❤️
Best trekking in India is Ladakh the land of passes...

not a bad idea! 😉
The irony Canadian coming and seeing snow in India 😂😂😂😂
Haha we do love snow ☺️❄️

Pronounce Himalayas as "He ma la yas", once you can say each individual part of pronouncement, try speaking fast in a single flow.
thanks for the help with the pronunciation :)
U have still haven't seen anything
There may be a lot more to see, but I wouldnt say this is nothing, this is pretty beautiful!
Thanks buddy to cover Himachal in your vlogs. I'm glad to see how you make precious content with passion.. 🖤 hopin next time you came Himachal again than you must go "lahul and spiti " I definitely recommend. It would be different experience . 🏔
Okay, thank you for the recommendations :)
Also visit the Northeast India 🇮🇳the culture and food here is different from other parts of India🙏
