Hi Keith and Dev, what a great video of your time in Munnar. Those Tea fields are really neat the way they plant them on the hills. Glad that you survived the experience of seeing that big Elephant. It is good that those people alerted you to him being so close. Enjoy your videos so keep up the good work.
Catching up on your videos! Did a bit of a phone detox. All of the tea in India sounds so delicious. Would love you hear about the books you’re reading while on the road.
No worries, we totally get that sometime taking a break from screen time is much needed :) We are happy to have you back though :) For books, I (Dev) love a good fiction book, I love reading to sort of escape, I read historical fiction, or like sometimes nicolas sparks, sometimes murder mysteries like The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave, or The Guest List by Lucy Foley, or Dan Brown Books, lately though I have been in to fantasy, I have jumped on the bandwagon and read Fourth Wing, ACOTAR and am now reading Throne of Glass. Honestly I love them and they are a great way to decompress at the end of the day or on a long travel day haha Keith reads more non-fiction but also sometime fiction he is currently reading The Power of One which is one of my favourite books.
@@KeithandDev historical fiction is my favorite genre to read! I haven’t read ACOTAR yet but Fourth Wing is next on my list. After every few historical fiction books I need something to clear my mind. If you like historical fiction and Keith reads more non-fiction I highly suggest “Citizen 365: The Hunt for Hitler’s Hidden Soldiers in America” by Debbie Cenziper. It’s a non-fiction book that honestly reads like a thriller. It’s focused mostly on actually trying to find and prosecute the perpetrators of war crimes and not on the actual crimes themselves, so it’s not as heavy as some books from that period can be. (Of course that heaviness and description is there.. but like ~30% of the book.. at most.)
I recommend you to visit these places in and around TamilNadu- Chennai - Pondy Bazaar market , Kora food street, Puduchery ,Ooty-Masinagudi death road and mudhumalai tiger reserve safari. 13 arch bridge which is longer the one in Sri Lanka located in Sengottai-punalur railway track . Thanjavur Brihadeeswara temple and maratha palace, Pichavaram Boating in mangrove forest , Hogenakkal waterfalls parisal boating ,Dhanushkodi old harbour and dhanushkodi point(Arichal Munai), Theri kadu which is a red sand desert kinda place , ripple adventure munnar,Madurai Meenakshi temple and Nayakar palace . Kodaikanal Guna caves and poombarai.Of course you can’t travel to all place but atleast try to visit some places you’ll probably like them.
India is full of nature. We have 80% of the worlds wild tigers, about 60% of the worlds Asian Elephants, about 80% of the asian bison , almost 100% of the one horned rhino's, 100% of the worlds asiatic Lions , loads of leopards, bears etc. All of these must live somewhere isnt it? Search out the wild life sanctuaries/ tiger reserves wherever you go and stay in them. You won't regret it .
3:58 Masal tea is a stereotype for foriegners. People in kerala mostly have Normal tea or black tea. Masal tea is a northindian thing and foriegners thing not south indian.
@@KeithandDev you guys are always welcomed from ours side 🤗 and one of my request is to eat the Indian food by your hand and not by the spoons because by eating by your hands will increase the taste of the food which you eat 😌🤌
Hi guys try some indian food items like cuppa and king fish curry...oh its spicy...palcuppa , beef roast with kerala porotta , biriyani from paragon hotel, calicut, ......try fuljar soda if possible ...dont know whether u likes that taste....u will get fuljar soda from local shops ...always bargain when u purchase anything thats the indian way...if anyone says u will get this in 100 rupees bargain it for just 50...😊😊
Just a tip for future , Kerala is 10 times more beautiful in monsoon , if you are visiting again try visiting during end of may, or June to September ( of course its rains heavily but trust me its a whole diffrent experience ) The same places you visited would look entirely diffrent. also do checkout local beaches, not the tourist once
10:25 that plate is used to have foods. Take that bowls out and smash the puttu and pour curry. Mix it tthen eat. We dont do dipps. Take curry as much you wanted to plate and have poori. Dont mix every foods. Poori and baaji is one dish and puttu and curry is another dish. Just google it if you have any doubt. All type of information is available on the internet.
A land well blessed by God, which is well blend with enchanting landscape where the snowy mountains kisses the sky and depart when sun just flips it's eyes, what a fabulous scenic wonder had been awarded by the cosmic exelance.
Munnar is always Nostalgic, its beautiful 😍❤️❤️❤️ House keeping course in Hotel management, learn the towels wrapping 😂😂😂 Thanks for updating the dirt by the road, if I catch people doing the mess, I show my disgust and make them pick it up 🙏
Poori Bhaji , especially the way Bhaji is made in a very simple way in Mangalore in some hotels is my favorite breakfast item. I love Puttu with sweet coconut milk ( same with Soft fluffy Aapam ) … I find it very confusing why hotels don’t offer Puutu or Aapa with Sweet Coconut milk.. just love it as a breakfast item.. Puttu has to be soaked and broken up in Sweet Coconut milk whereas with Aapa just pour the sweet coconut milk Aapa or Aapam..
Dears im frm kerala alappey... during these summer times always b careful and watch out for wild animals ...always b alert dears...bamboo forests r the hideouts for king cobras ...so always b careful dears...enjoy ur holidays ...😊😊
@@KeithandDev its like eating burger with daal or pizza with daal. Disgusting. If you want burger, and if you mix it with daal curry. Then how will you get the taste of burger. Just think normally. Thats it.
The domestic tourists are the ones who are littering all around kerala tourist places. Recently there is story about a village in palakkad kerala named kollenkode some one rated it as most beautiful willage in india, the reels got viral and lots of people rushed as tourists to that peacefull place and littered all over the village. Villagers doesnt make that much trash as cities so the local governments doest have facilities to deal with plastic waste. People has to be responsible and shouldnot dump your trash in our villages.
If that’s h the r case hopefully domestic tourist will also start to clean up there garbage instead of littering. I’m sorry about the small village you mentioned. Often times social media is not good for certain places.

Wow thank you so much for all the recommendations!! :)
16:51....that elephant enjoying waterfall and sunbathe.....😂😂😂
Hahaha exactly!
Please visit Ooty and dhanushkodi too
Thanks for the suggestion:)
Interesting okay good to know thank you :)
So much nature it is wonderful!
Go to cochi and varkala cliff if you have time for it😌
Thanks for the suggestion !
@@KeithandDev you guys are always welcomed from ours side 🤗 and one of my request is to eat the Indian food by your hand and not by the spoons because by eating by your hands will increase the taste of the food which you eat 😌🤌
Whenever u gets time visit gavi , athirapilly water falls , wayanad , those r excellent places ...
Thanks for the recommendations :)
Hi guys try some indian food items like cuppa and king fish curry...oh its spicy...palcuppa , beef roast with kerala porotta , biriyani from paragon hotel, calicut, ......try fuljar soda if possible ...dont know whether u likes that taste....u will get fuljar soda from local shops ...always bargain when u purchase anything thats the indian way...if anyone says u will get this in 100 rupees bargain it for just 50...😊😊
Just a tip for future , Kerala is 10 times more beautiful in monsoon , if you are visiting again try visiting during end of may, or June to September ( of course its rains heavily but trust me its a whole diffrent experience )
The same places you visited would look entirely diffrent.
also do checkout local beaches, not the tourist once
Good to know! We will keep that in mind for our next visit :)
Visit fort kochi and varkala.
And i also recommend a visit to lulu mall in edappally which is quite popular. There is also a beautiful church there, St. George Forane Church.

Thanks for explaining how it is done :)
A land well blessed by God, which is well blend with enchanting landscape where the snowy mountains kisses the sky and depart when sun just flips it's eyes, what a fabulous scenic wonder had been awarded by the cosmic exelance.

Visit Kashmir also and take Houseboat at Dal Lake in Srinagar..
thanks for the tips 😊
Poori Bhaji , especially the way Bhaji is made in a very simple way in Mangalore in some hotels is my favorite breakfast item. I love Puttu with sweet coconut milk ( same with Soft fluffy Aapam ) … I find it very confusing why hotels don’t offer Puutu or Aapa with Sweet Coconut milk.. just love it as a breakfast item.. Puttu has to be soaked and broken up in Sweet Coconut milk whereas with Aapa just pour the sweet coconut milk Aapa or Aapam..
Sounds delicious! We will look out for that :)
Dears im frm kerala alappey... during these summer times always b careful and watch out for wild animals ...always b alert dears...bamboo forests r the hideouts for king cobras ...so always b careful dears...enjoy ur holidays ...😊😊

Visit Meghalaya, you'll forget Bali.
Visit Jaipur, You'll feel like King and Queen.😊
They are coming from -30-40 degrees cold. They need some good mildly warm cool climate.
No doubt its kerala
a lovely state :)
8:25 fried rice and daal curry is not normal. Its just foriegners thing in india. They only do things that indians never do.
We realize that but we thought it was good together and a good way to fill up at lunch :)
Come to Karnataka for dosa Butter dosa and ghee dosa is best in Karnataka
Sounds delicious 😍
Visit north east India
we have heard so much about and hope to visit there one day for sure :)
2:49 i dont think all indians do meditation. Some people do. But most of the indians never do such things. So dont think every indians do that and love meditation. Because everybody was busy with their life run. Not time for that.
We are trying to implement mediation in our lives as it helps keep us at peace when we are always on the move :)
Finally u are seeing good side of india rather then those overrated things,
Do try northeast state like arunachal pradesg, mizoram sikkim, u will love it, especially zoku valley
