How can we blame you. You know the things only which are shown to you. Slums, pollution, poverty, unhygienic places, beggers, cows, etc. Definately these are part of India but India is beautiful too. Every coin has two sides.

@@KeithandDev yup, guessed it right, but its really very beautiful, the whole Kerala is very beautiful, its not the destination itself, its the journey too very soothing, best time is from June to early December, since Kerala has only two season, summer and rainy. and by the looks of your video, it looks very dry and summer time in Kerala. In Monsoon season, Kerala looks and feels like heaven. Rent a bike or car or even local transport, you guys will enjoy it very much. and the food here is amazing. and you two couples look amazing together.

The entire western ghat mountain range is like this. Places like Munnar, Ooty, Conoor, Kodaicanal expanses through 3 Indian states: Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. Very underrated places.
Analogous scenaries exist up in the Eastern and North Eastern regions of India too: Sikkim, Darjeeling, Assam, Meghalay etc.
      Also less explored and underrated.

No worries, we totally get that sometime taking a break from screen time is much needed :) We are happy to have you back though :) For books, I (Dev) love a good fiction book, I love reading to sort of escape, I read historical fiction, or like sometimes nicolas sparks, sometimes murder mysteries like The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave, or The Guest List by Lucy Foley, or Dan Brown Books, lately though I have been in to fantasy, I have jumped on the bandwagon and read Fourth Wing, ACOTAR and am now reading Throne of Glass. Honestly I love them and they are a great way to decompress at the end of the day or on a long travel day haha Keith reads more non-fiction but also sometime fiction he is currently reading The Power of One which is one of my favourite books.

@@KeithandDev historical fiction is my favorite genre to read! I haven’t read ACOTAR yet but Fourth Wing is next on my list. After every few historical fiction books I need something to clear my mind.
If you like historical fiction and Keith reads more non-fiction I highly suggest “Citizen 365: The Hunt for Hitler’s Hidden Soldiers in America” by Debbie Cenziper. It’s a non-fiction book that honestly reads like a thriller. It’s focused mostly on actually trying to find and prosecute the perpetrators of war crimes and not on the actual crimes themselves, so it’s not as heavy as some books from that period can be. (Of course that heaviness and description is there.. but like ~30% of the book.. at most.)

India is full of nature. We have 80% of the worlds wild tigers, about 60% of the worlds Asian Elephants, about 80% of the asian bison , almost 100% of the one horned rhino's, 100% of the worlds asiatic Lions , loads of leopards, bears etc. All of these must live somewhere isnt it? Search out the wild life sanctuaries/ tiger reserves wherever you go and stay in them. You won't regret it .
