I have a 2350w carrera with 52v 21ah loving it. At first the wires got hot and melted with that crappy yellow terminal connector from Riding Hilly roads and going too fast a lot But even though it’s a adverage square wave controller since I cut the wires back and removed that yellow crap I replaced with xt150 6mm bullet connecters and soldered those on., one on each phase wire and my god, the difference, they take 150amps each and highly recommended to keep the controller and wires warm only even on demanding hills and you can go fast continuously Well worth doing. 👍
Another quality build looking forward to the upgrade builds .Any chance of doing a hybrid build at some point and what happens with that tandem motor build you did ?
These are absolute machines and i couldn’t recommend kirbekits enough to anybody that’s not tried it Ye everything showed up as should plenty of emails from support to reassure me anything I asked there team missed out on nothing and there’s manners where ten out of ten 🔥🚲
Having watch you from way back if I actually had the money I would definitely get one of your builds. From the beginning I thought it was a lot for what you have charged. Always shoot over to Facebook when you have a bike there and look with envious eyes. And with the new kits they will be even better👍
That is funny! Google takes me down public footpaths which has been through 2 farmers fields down tractor tracks. My rear rack is not holding up so well with all the bumps!
I hate mid drives for buzzing around town too noisy and clunky I love the buttery smooth hubs all the way. Had a few mid drives but never kept them. They're good if you actually do serious off road though.
nice bike BTW KT does sinus too nowadays even come with waterproof Higo's. My Risun didn't last too long with thw abuse I gave it. (Mxus 3k 100kg overall weight)
Just bought a marlin 5 2022 and doing a conversion do you think itd fit a 3k hub motor in it? Allso still really debating mid drive or hub want to be able to accelerate fast do power wheelies and have fun through trails not to fussed about trails as long as i can pedle a bit and make it look like a push bike 😂 i will also be doing a 6 mile each way comute
1. 48V 35Amp FOC sinewave 12mosfets Controller. It works for 36v, 48v and 52v lithium batteries. yea nice. is there a manuial for the display? how do i know if i put the setting wrong, like there is a option how much you draw from the batt or * speed etc or how hard it pulls, i mean there are so many options in the display.. or can i not put wrong settings in and then screw the system up ?
Emm Steve, where is the e-bike giveaway as mentioned in your last video? lol I kid ofc watch most of your videos when I'm tinkering about with my projects, hope all is well bud

Nice work man
only a bit over £800, within my budget range 😍
certainly going to be buying this kit when I have the money for sure
Great video that's a nice looking bike.
I put the throttle on the other side on the marlins. Less conspicuos and easier to use.
Cheap at half the price, an absolute steal for someone. top man.
Looking good dude, any updates on the van?
Yeah it made it to Devon and back no issues last month 😅 upgraded the radio again need to do a video about that!
Steve. Any tweaking required to get the back wheel in ? or was it a straight in job ?

I 'm based in France, we should associate to do bulk buy. I got an amazing deal in China. For road bikes over 3kw and 100km range
Cool, but I’ve a bafang, 750 ,mid drive kit, which will do 40mph,17.5 amp

40.28 mph = 64.81 km woooow :D
Looks loadsa fun
How much harder is it to pedal a custom ebike on your own, like this one, than the bicycle before the conversion?

i just ordered 2000w kit, and a 52v 20a batt. what battery do you have on there ?

how is your hub so quiet ? mine is very loud if i not paddle.
It will not ship to U.S. even with out the battery?
One question do what is the top speed
What kit would I need for gt aggressor
9.09 Its just a battery with a bike attached!
are these kits 1500w and can peak to 2000w?
controller amps * battery volts
Frame size ??
Im genuinley curious to find out how terrifying 40mph in a push bike is
It's pretty sketchy, even on smooth ground

If you’ve got your feet on the pedals and you’re not pedalling, one foot will naturally be higher than the other 🤷🏻♂️😂
what ya supposed to do?
Relax or someone's gonna stick one on ya 😅
What about the flip-flops
Slower than a week in the jail, why not put a 72v on it like I did?
