One thing that I've noticed in comparison to the cast-dynamic on "Friends": It seems like that Charmed was lacking any diplomatic cast members who were trying to be the "bigger person" in arguments. You pretty much just had 4 actresses who are very strong-willed and don't take sh*t from anyone. The cast of Friends had certain issues as well: Jennifer Aniston always being late, Jennifers and Davids romantic feelings for each other, Matthews drug problems or all of them not getting the same pay in the beginning. (It's kinda ironic that three of those actually "mirror" Charmed.) There were always certain people in the cast who adressed those problems and created solutions, even though it meant that they had to take backseats at certain points. It's such a shame that the actresses in Charmed couldn't put aside their differences for the "greater good" like the cast of Friends did.
For sure! The Friends cast definitely had their differences and didn't always get along, but they absolutely saw the bigger picture and realized that they were stronger united than divided, which is how they went on to be one of the highest-paid casts in TV history!
Weirdly, when you said all the ladies have never left high school and they're stuck in a weird time loop, that's it right there. All the hostility, all the ganging up and the words said is just childish.
Alyssa might actually be the one in the wrong but she always gives a classy answer. She never gets dirty with them. It makes her look like the better person the more mature person.
It's clever on her part. Like somebody you work with who is like a goodie two shoes kinda person but is just annoying esp if they have the boss on her side. She also seems to me to have a bot army paid for to go out and post those public messages about how she's nice to work with really. That's the impression I get. I may be very wrong tho. I know the names were blurred out for protection. I'm just suspicious they were not bots.
@@thepowerof6six809 Your opinion isn’t the majority. Reading comments of ppl who are just regular watchers not big fans who keep up with everything or just ppl who are old enough to remember the headlines. Most ppl believe Alyssa, they feel she’s the victim. They think Shannon is/ was the drama they all remember her behavior on 90210. They think Rose is crazy because of her recent interviews. And think feel Holly is just jumping on the bandwagon because as stated in this video Holly and Alyssa actually used to hang out outside of work the even did a little reunion on I think Greys anatomy a few years ago. Everything they say is negative and Alyssa is the positive one or the one to ignore their statement about her publicly. I’ve even seen ppl say Holly is jealous because Alyssa still has a career. Like I said Alyssa might actually be the bad guy but the way she publicly represents herself she comes across as the victim if you don’t know what happened behind the scenes
Yeah, she's very talented in PR. I mean, I can read through the game but you're right, many side with Alyssa because of how she presents herself. Which is why I feel the other ladies are more genuine and real - real humanity can be raw & messy. They aren't putting on an act and take the risk that people may not like what they have to say.
I've seen a video somewhere in which we can see that, after Shannen read her statement at Megacon, one can read on Holly's lips: "I feel like shit". Which makes me wonder. Maybe Holly kept her mouth shut despite not being comfortable with what was being said. Then again, I don't know. I could be reading too much into it. One thing's for sure though: the more time goes on, the more HMC comes off as two-faced.
Not two faced… literally is the mediator. Alyssa brought it on herself after defending Weinstein then promoting her book using the Charmed drama for clout. It’s only fair Shannen claps back and also makes money out of Charmed drama.
@@Catalaya0549this is what I think too Holly goes where the wind blows 😂 I wouldn't be shocked if in a few years it's revealed she was the mastermind causing everyone to fight lol😂
If Shannen had done the finale that would’ve meant the WORLD to the fans I guess she just didn’t care that much or think how much it would mean to everybody. Not that anyone has to do anything for anyone but I just think it’s kinda sad and would‘ve been good show on her part
If there was an issue with AM they absolutely could have filmed around it. She spent a decent portion of the finale dead anyway. Or they could have just had her in the end scene with everyone together, except Henry for whatever reason.
They stopped Brian from guest starring on the reboot he was supposed to guest star as The Whitelighter in the tape room Harry was stuck in and was then replaced by Diana the whitelighter.
About Krista Vernoff's comment, I don't think she was talking about the show overall or the magic aspect of it, just the major sexualization of the three stars. Which, she has a point if that's what she meant. The show should have been more about sisterhood and fighting evil together, which is what the first 3-4 years was about. But season 5-8 they really amped up the skimpy outfits, which the WB probably loved because it got more men to tune in, increasing the viewership. That's the part of it that was bad. People should be tuning in to see the sisters kick demons' asses, not because they're wearing revealing clothing.
Thanks for mentioning this. I love Charmed and always will but this quote from Krista Vernoff and the context of it needs to be addressed more. I've spoken about this before in response to other TH-cam videos so I'll be brief. The tonal shift was REAL and I think responses to that have played a big part in the actresses subsequent reactions. Including the changes to their stories.
Exactly this. Everyone was very quick to demonize Krista for what she said, immediately assuming she was saying that Charmed as a whole was "bad for the world" without understanding that she was actually just trying to express her disappointment that a female-led show that she loved took a very sexual turn.
Yes, I was young enough and naive enough to not pick up on this on my own. It's edged into my memory the day when my 5 years older brother and cousin were watching, I was surprised but then my cousin said somethings about how Alyssa in that genie costume made this worth watching and it clicked in my brain. It was never the same after that.
People can watch the show for whatever reason. Men shouldn’t be demonized for finding women attractive and watching for that reason. The problem is that they weren’t really writing well and focusing on telling good stories at that point. And surprisingly you can both do fan-service and still focus on sisterhood. It’s also worth noting that Holly and Alyssa were producers at some point. And to be perfectly honest the show was never good to begin with, and its sisterhood theme was not touched upon enough even during the run with original team. The show was always struggling with an identity issue it’s not in any way surprising that they shifted gears. And even with all that said the show focused a lot on just dating like it was sex and the city during its first three seasons, acting like skimpy outfits was the downfall of the show is just so insane to me. Like guys the show always was bad I’m sorry sexy outfits were and never will be the real problem.
@@parisknight1840 No one in any of the comments criticized men for watching the show because they find the actresses attractive, let alone "demonized" them. They were talking about the tonal shift in general, which was very noticeable in the show. Yes, the girls had dating lives in the first few seasons and sometimes it took focus, but the main focus was still on the sisters and their relationship with each other. And by season six, that was virtually non-existent. For example, in season three there's an episode called Pre-Witched where Piper and Leo are debating moving out of the manor, which is a decision that is difficult on everyone because of the impact on their relationships as sisters and witches. The whole episode is about the decision and how much it affects them, using flashbacks to show little they used to get along and how well they work together now, and they ultimately decide to stay together at the end. Meanwhile in season six, Phoebe goes to live with Jason and Paige moves in with Richard and it's barely a plot point, let alone an emotional dilemma. That's the sort of tonal shift people were most upset about, not simply some clothes.
Thank you for all the coverage you've done over Charmed. I've watched this series for a long time and whenever there's something new about the show, inside and outside the fictional narrative, I'm always wanting to know more. Even if it has no impact on me personally, neither does any of the other subjects I enjoy studying, but I still do it. I do agree that the best solution to this conflict is just to actually get the four of them together and just talk it out. Even if it is entirely private, there are clearly unspoken conflicts between the four that they don't wish to make public. Fine, don't make them public. But don't let them fester either. Something has clearly happened between Rose and Alyssa, then Holly and Alyssa, to cause this disdain but nobody is saying what. Again, they don't have to, but using the ambiguity of social media as a sort of shield is NOT the solution. In fact, it worsens the problem. Well, I've said my piece of that matter. I still admire Holly Marie Combs as the one who brought my favourite character, Piper, to life, but I realize that she is not a perfect person. Either she is lying about some of the allegations or there are just things that she doesn't want to reveal just yet. Still, as that old phrase goes, it's not over until the curvaceous lady sings. I think we will see the ultimate outcome soon, while Shannen is still well enough to bear the brunt of that outcome. Until then, I can't wait to see what content you've got coming for us!
Thank you very much! I'm really glad you're enjoying the Charmed content! And totally ~ hopefully they will realize that the only way to truly move past this is to work it out between all four of them. Social media definitely is not the place for it. And yuss, definitely more Charmed content coming soon, plus a couple of surprises! ❤
I agree there is probably a lot of stuff left unsaid but would it really matter if it was all revealed? People who have already made up their minds on which actress to "side with" will just discount whatever gets said anyway. We all have our own interpretations into how we read into things. I honestly don't blame the actresses for not revealing every little detail because it's not even about the truth for many people. At the end of the day, I think all the ladies know what's what
The what is… Alyssa being used as Harvey Weinstein’s PR against Rose to discredit her. Alyssa is friends with Weinstein’s wife and is married to a CAA employer. Alyssa tried to paint Rose as “the crazy one” and that’s when Rose clapped back hard and called her a lie, fake and now a loser lol. Holly said it’s ironic because this is about “power” and that she hates “injustice” Alyssa has left a bad taste in Holly’s mouth because of her going after Rose and then releasing her book sorry not sorry and using the charmed drama to promote it. #sorry not sorry #lets be clear
Shannen is allowed to be vindicated and get her side of the story out, no matter how many years later it is. The immature and childish behavior surrounding all of this however is beyond unnecessary! You can still speak your truth but in a dignified way.
I love the bloopers with your sister's cat haha and also the entire video, all the drama is getting more and more clear, while still not discussed properly by the ladies
For all we know they could just be capitalizing off the drama (books, podcasts etc) , cause like who would act like such a child in their middle age the way they are acting...but people clearly love drama, they're feeding into this feud like moths to a flame, oh well 🤷♀️ personally I'm done, I don't want to hear anything about these actresses anymore
Starting to think its all holly, manipulating the others, like a coward. She could of easily been playing both sides, until she found out about shannens health problems.
1. They all say they dont want to taint the show for the fans, well as JoJo once said.... Too little too late. 2. NOBODY is going to want to work with or hire them ever again!
LOVE this video! You put into words exactly all my thoughts. I don’t think any one of them is the main problem, nor do I think any of them are innocent. And you hit the nail on the head with Holly. I tried listening to the House of Halliwell, but a few episodes showed me it was just so full of negativity (and they also barely talk about the episodes they’re reviewing). It’s really sad, it just seems that there’s a lot of high school energy is at play here 😔 Also, I will say, Rose had a VERY tough upbringing. I believe she grew up in a cult, (if I’m not mistaken) and likely has a lot of trauma from that which may not have been addressed. So she may be volatile as a result of that.
Thank you so much! And right?! I was really excited when I heard about the House of Halliwell podcast because I love commentary and behind the scenes stuff, but then I actually tried to watch an episode and I was like.. never again. I can't believe they thought it was a good idea to ask fans to pay money to essentially fund them ripping the show they love to shreds. And then the patrons either get blocked for asking questions and/or refused refunds when they try to back out.. it's sad, and definitely not the way to treat the fans you claim to care about.
I listened to the Sarah Michelle Gillard podcast and it's clear shannen tries to push her boundaries on buffy and Sarah clearly sets the boundary and seems like it was cut cos then shannen is just praising her and references "even with me , you're clear with boundaries" so I think Sarah michelle is wise to her antics and also shannen stats there is no competition in there relationship and I think its because she knows Sarah is the bigger star and Sarah is strong enough to stand up to shannen, I thought was very eye opening listening to it and made me love Sarah more because she wouldn't bash her show buffy no matter how much shannen tried
@@weirdlybelovedSMG definitely had issues on Buffy too but she has been very diplomatic about that It was a job for her which is why she was able to make it work for years Shannon's problem was perhaps she was friends and that can cause problems with
Honestly, I believe that any accounts Shannen gave of events prior to her podcast in December were to preserve the original narrative that she quit. Looking at the earlier statements she made as part of the lie that was construed to preserve her career make sense. It's also exactly what I would have done... had I not chosen to drag Alyssa for filth.
Even if she lied to help protect her career, she still lied and it definitely doesn't mean she should be believed now that she has a new version of the truth. Plus the stuff on the set of 90210 and what Jason claimed in his memoir predates her firing from Charmed, so there are definitely a lot of inconsistencies in her stories that she can't blame on her team.
@weirdlybeloved No... but given Holly can corroborate much of Shannen's story and (allegedly) Brian as well, I'm inclined to believe that most of what Shannen recalled in her podcast is true. As for what Jason wrote, he's recalling one offhand conversation from 20 years ago. I don't doubt Shannen considered it and possibly spoke about this with Jason, that's different than actually doing it.
@@athomicbl2227But.. aren't Holly and Shannen both recalling offhand conversations from 20 years ago? I don't get why their retelling of events must be true, but Jason's is likely inaccurate?
@@athomicbl2227the problem with holly is her story switches depending on who she is friends with at the time, she's not a reliable source. None of the core four are really, they're to emotionally invested in the situation& their egos are to big to be impartial.
@weirdlybeloved I never said Jason's was inaccurate just that we have no idea if there was any follow through. Furthermore, there's going to be a different intensity of memory when you're just casually talking about something you aren't involved in and actively feuding on set.
Yeah I think Holly is playing both sides...whenever it's convenient for her. Doing 'Off the map' with Shannen as best friends and then doing Grey's Anatomy with Alyssa where they essentially reprised their roles as Charmed sisters.
@@justingaffneysamuels2072 Yes, but Holly is used to flip-flopping between the two; when one relationship falls out, she always has the other as a backup. But if Shannen were to cut her off, then she obviously can't turn to Alyssa in her stead, so I'm just curious how Holly would handle that.
@@weirdlybeloved If it ended with Shannon she’d still have Rose. But those three are cool with each other. Moving forward I think Shannon, Holly, and Rose will all remain close. It is what it is. Shannon and Rose were never competitive with each other like H Shannon and Alyssa.
@@justingaffneysamuels2072 Well.. yeah? Of course Shannen and Rose wouldn't have been competitive with each other since they weren't on Charmed at the same time. But I still think the other foot will drop at some point. Rose and Holly like drama too much for them not to create more of it. But like you said, it is what it is.
i've had MANY stories about what went on beind the scenes on "Charmed", and as is the case more often than not for me with behind the stories tales, i'd like to unhear a lot of them. :) however, in Milano's own words, if we're going to be quoting :) she says that the title of her book is meant to say that she makes no apologies for being an effed up person, to which i say aren't we all? :) even though it'd be easy, and likely right, to say that so many people saying the same thing (about Milano) can't be wrong/lying, the more likely truth is, although less sensational, also more fair. they likely all had their nasty moments and something had to give and finally did. not every cast can be as compatible as "Friends". what matters is that in spite of their baggage, we've been left with an awesome show that we can watch and eyjoy endlessly :)
I had a quick google regarding Jason's memoir and she has covered that very issue regarding the statements made. He had a severe car accident in 2002 and she believes it may have altered his memory on events that took place especially when trying to remember it a decade later when he wrote the book. It was an injury all over and to the head. Now, obviously, I am going to take that with a pinch of salt too but there's an answer for that. There's also an answer for everyone being ready to throw Shannen under the bus for press, ratings and selling. I covered this in your video about Shannen, she could have stretched the truth before she came out with it regarding questions she was asked at panels about returning to the show or her exit. She wasn't ready at that point to tell the truth so she had to think of things to say to combat these questions. Did she read the read the season finale script or did she not? I don't think that has much relevance to the feud. I think you need to cut her some slack because she's obviously had to keep up with a lie for so long so she may have fabricated other things. Regarding any other inconsistencies with her story about being offered Charmed or not, I still think the latter - I actually remember Jason and Shannen having somewhat of a falling out, the way he had written the excerpt about Shannen in his memoir was not necessarily in her favour. He made a point about wanting to know how Aaron hired her again and a story about Aaron asking her to be a part of it wouldn't have made sense or even got press - in your words "she fought her way back in". I don't really believe that and I think there's definitely bias to Jason's story. I do think there was a definite negotiation, Aaron truly cared about Shannen especially as she was close with Tori spelling so they had a personal relationship which is evident if you looked into that. Now, I certainly don't think Shannen has been completely honest especially after denying her fallout with Holly or not going into detail about what the feud was with Alyssa which concerns Rose's retelling of her events too. I'm only 10:31 minutes into this and will get back to you on the rest of my thoughts lol.
I feel like you've made this video prior to your video about Rose - especially as you didn't include it in the screenshot at the beginning. Like I said in that video, Rose has a different kind of trauma attached to this. She let it slide for many years because maybe it wasn't as bad as what Shannen experienced (getting fired and losing a livelihood) - they all protected the magic for so long. When Alyssa fought her way in, into Me Too for fame, that's when Rose not only outed Weinstein but Alyssa too. You can work with a difficult person, years later make indifferent or "nice" tweets about them and have no comment to say in favour of keeping the magic of the show alive for everyone - so there's that aspect. I again believe Shannen/Rose more than I will ever believe Alyssa. I agree with your points about Holly, she is quite rude to the fans and she was quite abrasive and harsh to me too. She deletes comments and fights with anyone asking questions. However, I don't agree with you comments on her 'body languaging' regarding the panel. If you look at different videos, better quality and from different angles, you can see her looking visibly uncomfortable and crying at times. It's painful and there's no "correct way" to look when you're really uncomfortable - especially when your dying friend is reaching some sort of salvation. I think everyone of them needs to be more explicit and fact based if they're going to reveal what happened. Ideally, to echo your point, I'd want them all to sit together and ironically have a mediator between them to explain what went on or someone to reveal what was documented on set OR someone on the crew who knew what happened to speak about it too. I think none of them are really doing any favours by being vague. Alyssa the most. I don't think Alyssa is evil but I think she has been and is a bad person. I think she's clearly done some good but how much of that was for attention and notoriety? You can tell she's always on a high horse especially with the answers she gives.
Another thing about Holly (sorry about the many comments but I'm stopping the video as I go) you keep elluding to Holly being insincere with her relationships with Shannen/Alyssa. If you remember in the podcast, she was seduced by Alyssa's family life and essentially adopted into it. Once Shannen left, they were forced to work each other still. She was around Alyssa all the time and being around someone 24/7, you gotta make the most outta' a bad situation. So she let bygones be bygones in favour of the show and trying to get all the girls to get along even after the show. She never let that taint her friendship with Shannen. She just had her own unique relationship with Alyssa. It is STILL possible to be friends with someone that has done wrong to someone else. I don't think that makes you a bad person, you just have to gauge whether or not it's worth it or if you're asked to not be friends with someone or whatever. There's a lot of layers and grey areas and again it doesn't take away from any of the feelings she felt for Shannen being fired or the genuine friendship she built with Alyssa especially after Shannen was removed.
+ Holly only telling Alyssa/Rose to lay off MAKES COMPLETE SENSE. Rose strikes me (especially back then) as a person to continuously make indirect/mean/uncomfortable comments to Holly about her then friend Alyssa. Alyssa also strikes me as someone who'd either do the same or play the victim and guilt trip Holly about how bad Rose/Shannen is etc. So I can totally see that. Shannen to me strikes me as someone who doesn't care and doesn't mention Alyssa because she essentially cut out of her life. Maybe the odd story they reminicise or in unison b*tch about but other than that I can't see Shannen bringing Alyssa up as opposed to Rose/Alyssa bringing each other + Shannen up lol.
I actually agree with your comments about the HOH - I think it's a meaningless cash grab where Holly constantly complains. I never ever saw the point in Drew being there and I still don't want him to be. Although he is the only one out of the three that actually steers the conversation away from being dumb. They constantly talk about unfunny, crude and dumb aspects. Focusing on making out and how gross it was for Holly/Brian to be together. Nothing about the episode, the plot of any memory of shooting it and fun facts. I am thankful I never spent a penny on that podcast. It does make me not really reflect on Holly as a person and thank you for including that.
I agree about the HOH podcast. I didn't pay anything, just listened on Spotify but I found myself disappointed on the amount of complainting. And even when they did talk character|plot, which was rare, they were still complaining or ragging on characters, like Andy
I think there was a build up of small things that blew up over the years. Imagine spending more than 12 hours per day with your coworkers-sooner or later passive aggressive behaviors will turn into full out toxicity plus being around executive men who are happy to pit women against each other. Armin Shimerman, the wizard from season 4 stated that Charmed was the most toxic set he ever worked on. So we know that Shannen leaving didn’t get rid of the toxicity. Shannen may be a lot of things, but she really cared about the show and even volunteered to be one of the only female directors on a set Rose said was very male dominated. When Alyssa became producer, her character just became a sex and the city clone she vicariously lived through with character billboards and rich boyfriends. I also find Alyssa passive aggressive and fake (Wishing them peace and light? Yeah right). It’s easy for her to act all innocent when she got to keep her job by keeping quiet and wearing mermaid outfits. When Krista Vernoff called out the show’s objectification (she didn’t want to make something bad for the world), Alyssa called her out accusing her of calling Charmed bad. When Krista was not criticizing the show at all, just the objectification. As for Jason’s book, it’s frustrating he never specified Shannen’s complaints. He only mentions listening to her for 20 minutes. Also mediators are like talking to HR-they’re there to protect the company not the workers.
You make a lot of great points! Especially about how much they had to be together - I can't imagine spending that much time around anyone, let alone someone I already don't get along with.. then again, I'm not really a "people person" to begin with - definitely an introvert lol - so that actually sounds like a total nightmare, and it's something that probably just made a bad situation worse on the set of Charmed. And yeah, I see your point about Jason, but I feel like he was actually waaaay more specific than any of the girls have been ~ none of them ever really give examples of what they're actually talking about when this all comes up. Rose gave one in almost two decades that had zero context, and then the rest of their statements are super vague. "No angels, no demons?" "We definitely didn't get along?" Competition, cordial, yada yada yada.. always more smoke and mirrors from all of them, and that's the most frustrating part. I'm almost starting to believe the reason they DON'T specify anything is because either A) they know it's bs, or B) there's something they did that's equal to or worse than that and it would be mutually assured destruction.

maybe a little late to the party but I will say the sarah podcast didn't harp on buffy really at all. there were a few questions but it was mostly about sarahs and shannons friendship. this is also probably one of the best videos presenting the issues with the charmed cast
Thank you for letting me know! I'll probably still avoid the podcast just in case, but it's nice to know that Shannen and Sarah are still so close! And thank you! I really tried to do as much research as I could for this video series! ^^
The finale thing. She was talking about season 7 not 8. She didn't even pay attention to the show after she left, so she wouldn't know any of the episodes, which we;ve seen at cons, none of the actors knew the episode titles. It's only recently that theyve learned some of them because they get asked the same questions over and over again. I believe Shannen. Alyssas response was vague and didn't take any responsibility. Rehearsed and written by someone else. Ya'll really think that she gave that answer off the cuff....hardly.
When did Shannen say that she was talking about season 7? There weren't even any characters brought back for that finale, let alone Prue. Pretty sure she was talking about the season 8 finale. And for the record.. Shannen's response was also vague and did not take any responsibility. She has never said that anything that happened on Charmed was her fault.
@@weirdlybeloved My point was She doesn't know the episodes. She doesn't know which finale she was being asked about. You can tell from the S7 finale that she was supposed to be included but they rewrote it very purely to include her power and nothing else. Do I have concrete proof, no, but you've seen enough panels(older ones and none of the actors know the show very well) possibly because the writing was a bit of a mess.
@@mysticore @mysticore Shannen would know the timeframe of when she was sent the offer, especially with one of her best friends being Holly, who was still starring on the show and was also very likely aware of the offer. And sorry, but your suggestion that Shannen was meant to be included in the S7 is pure speculation, as thus far there's never been an indication she was.
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you're liking the videos! And right?! It ended so long ago but it's like the drama is happening all over again in real time!
I like how you looked at the situation from all the perspectives. You mentioned a lot of things that I didn't think about before so it gave me different perspective. For me, the strangest thing about all of this are the contradictions in Shannen's statements. Sometimes we hear that she was fired, and sometimes that she left on her own. She says she didn't come back because they didn't offer it to her and yet another time she said she was offered to come back for finale but she didn't like the way they would restore her character - girl, just make up your mind. This show is one of two biggest things that she's done in her career so I highly doubt that she doesn't remember. Is this really that hard to stick with one version of the same story? Especially is you are telling the truth
Thank you so much! And yeah, that's the biggest crux I have with Shannen as well.. how are we supposed to trust what she says is the truth when her truth keeps changing? And like you said, Charmed is one of the biggest projects she's done, I'm sure she remembers what happened.. and not to mention on the podcast she claimed she has a supposed apology letter from Brad Kern that she was going to read out at some point.. but it's been six months and we have yet to hear this alleged letter. I'm beginning to wonder if it even exists.
Have you made a video talking about how casting played a part? Like Jennifer Love Hewitt or Tiffani Amber Thiessen potentially being asked to come on the show. I also remember Eliza Dushku being rumored
I haven't, but that's a really fun idea! I hear they auditioned for Paige, but it's so hard to imagine any of them in the role! I saw somewhere that Charisma Carpenter also auditioned, and it's so hard for me to picture Cordelia as a Charmed One, haha.
How can you take Jason's book as canon? Shannen's charmed story about the script never changed, even before the podcast. It seems like people will always have a negative feeling towards Shannen. I will say Jason Book may have been adding a little fluff to make the conversation between him and Shannen seem like, Oh, Shannen the diva, of course, because why leave out the things she was saying in the 20 odd minutes? That would’ve been great details on how Shannen felt working with Alyssa. Jason's memoir actually contradicts a little because Shannen did in fact receive the script, but it was lodged in the back of her car, and Holly was the one who convinced her to read the script. Also, I think each lady is telling their version of what led to the infamous Alyssa or Shannen debacle. In my opinion, Shannen did state that she had a pay-or-play clause as a form of protection from Arron and that if she was released, she would be able to sue the network or spelling since it was the same thing he did in 90210. Since you brought up the Jason podcast interview, she did tell him that she had a lot of personal issues. Her first husband was drugged, and her father was sick, which is why she was notoriously late. She failed to share that with her cast or Aaron, and it left Aaron to fire her. In my opinion, I think Aaron caught wind of what was going on and wanted to cast her in the new show instead of bringing her back to 90210, which I think he should’ve done anyway. It was definitely a me or her situation brought on by Alyssa, and now I do think all the ladies should’ve been mandated to sit with the mediator because it causes a one-sided boohoo it’s me incident. I blame the producers and spelling for this drama because this should’ve been handled professionally. I also think that Aaron on both 90210 and Charmed should’ve bumped Shannen down to reoccurring for a season or two and made her a full cast member after that probationary period. Because, if we are being honest, love her or hate her, Shannen is a phenomenal actress, and both shows took a hit once she left and/or the show was changed completely. I think that Alyssa is afraid of the public knowing she had a hand in the firing. I am with you on Holly being like Switzerland and being neutral because it comes off as fake. If she was cool with Alyssa and now siding with Shannon, in my opinion, Holly would be the main non-biased opinion I would believe on what really happened.
Like I said in the video, if Jason wanted to lie about Shannen and/or sell books using her name, he definitely had enough experience from working with her on 90210 to do that. He didn't need to involve Charmed at all, so the fact that he did makes me think there's at least some truth to it. Also, it's a little bit ironic to me that we're expected to take everything said on Shannen's podcast at face value and believe that it's 100% truth, but if anyone says anything that doesn't show Shannen in a great light then it's 'fluff' and the story probably is not 'canon.' Strange. And yes, I know, I listened to the podcast as well, and it's possible that BOTH are true; if you really listen to what was said, Holly said that she SAW the script in the back of Shannen's car and asked if Shannen read it, then assumed the rest. Shannen very well could have not wanted Holly to know that she was actually interested in another Spelling project after crap-talking him after her firing from 90210, and/or been embarrassed about how she got the script and lied to save face. We just don't know, and probably never will. Again, I did bring up the Jason podcast and even showed excerpts from it, so obviously I know what was said. I am well aware of Shannen's reasoning for why she was late.. as well as the fact that she has spent years denying that she was ever late at all, and that she said before her marriage she was STILL late to set because she was out partying with Tori, AND then turned right around and said she wasn't the one being late to set later in the SAME podcast. You can't just hear what you want to hear when you listen to these things, you have to listen and consider EVERYTHING. And if what Jason said is true - and no one can prove that it's not, and Shannen certainly has never denied it even though she was ASKED about the memoir - then the 'her or me' was NOT solely brought on by Alyssa, it was Shannen, too. Heck, even if that wasn't true there's no way to say it was brought on by Alyssa and Alyssa alone, other than the testimony of two people who can't keep a story straight. I'm not on anyone's side, but I really wish people would stop acting like Shannen is this angel who would never tell a lie.
I always loved Piper and Holly's delivery of hers. Unfortunately, over the years I observed that Holly was taking sides and not sticking with one story which for me it's highly hypocritical. Also, in the video it is mentioned that the show was a refuge for a lot if people going through hardships. For me it marked my childhood and it's my favourite show to this day but it really suddens me that even after all these years the actresses are petty towards each other to say the least. I also understand that the work environment was very toxic so they had to find ways to survive but this? They could have been more united after this. And after all those years I still feel the trauma is not processed and healed
Agreed! I loved Piper and she'll probably always be my favorite character, but after everything that's happened it's a little difficult to feel the same way about Holly herself. I just wish the girls could focus less on being 'right' and pointing fingers at who they think was wrong and instead focus on forgiveness, healing, and knowing that they each helped make something so wonderful that people still love and talk about it over two decades later.
People also forget at one point Shannen and Holly were friends, and then they had a huge fight. They would be on instagram, and then they stopped posting pictures of each other. And then when someone asked Shannen she said something like "you know who your true friends are when a friend says your disease is making you 'too boring to be around'". So these ladies flip flop with each other constantly. There's a lot of grey areas.
Exactly! Even Holly said in that interview that they weren't friends anymore, and then they became friends again and had the audacity to deny ever having had a falling out to begin with, and it's like.. how is anyone supposed to trust them when they can't even be honest about something like that? 🙄
@@weirdlybeloved Yes!!! It's understandable if she feels ashamed for having a falling out with Shannen due to her cancer though. But her behavior has been really strange and unlikeable. She's not fun to listen to on the podcast, and all of this combined makes me question how genuine she is.
I agree that no one wins as they continue to sling mud at each other instead of trying to work out their issues. It makes it hard to respect any of them when they continue to do so.
Melinda Warren she had a daughter and her name was prudent so she admitted when she looked at Prue so probably her daughter resembles Prue it could have been a past life crew that was Melinda Warren's daughter because she sacrificed herself for Prudence so I believe she had she had three daughters and then they became the Charmed One so she the one who birthed the first Charmed ones Melinda Warren 0:01 Those are my theories that are sensing about the situation of the family bloodline 0:01
5:30 - 7:13 Erm...excuse me as I pick my jaw up off the ground. I am in awe. And i guess he has no real motive to make that up, does he? Unless maybe he wanted to use that to sell his books. But his publishers would have tried to verify the validity of the story before they printed it to avoid a lawsuit down the line. Oh my gosh. I can't. This tew much. Weirdly always brings receipts. Receipts! 😅
Right?! When I first read that I couldn't believe it!! Especially since I had actually tried looking up his memoir before because of the 90210 stories he told, and never once did I see this passage mentioned! And yuss, I definitely try to make sure I show proof of whatever I include, and that I mention if it's pure speculation! 🥰
So disappointing to see these women damaging the show which was so beloved for so long. I no longer feel any warmth toward the show or characters because of the ongoing mudslinging. They are all behaving terribly. There are no excuses and I don’t think I could watch it ever again without their performances being completely tainted by their real life bitchiness. What a way to lose out on fans and followers, they have ruined what was a fantastic fantastical show.
It really is very disappointing, especially after all this time. They don't seem to realize (or care) how much their public bickering damages their own fanbase, but it does. It's pretty much all you see anymore if you google Charmed, and that's really sad.. 20-odd years of legacy and it took them two months to completely poison the well. I'm just going to try my best to forget this all as best I can, so I can still try and salvage whatever love I still have for the show. :(
NANCY DREW 👁 AM EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alyssa is like Why do we crucify ourselves everyday. Crucify myself. Nothing 👁 do is good enough for youuuuuu. Shannon is like, Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies. Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies. Oh no,no you can't disguise. Tell me lies. Tell me, tell me lies. Holly is like Don't speak. 👁 know what your sayin. So please stop explaining don't tell me coz it hurts. It's all ending. We gotta stop pretending what we are. Rose is like, she drives me crazy. 👁 just can't sleep. So excited, I'm in too deep. Whoa crazy but it feels alright. Baby thinking of you keeps me up all night!!!!!!! It's pronounced EX-SURP-T. #GOODWORK
Weirdly love is like they are stuck in every different timeline when they act like young girls in high school it's true that there are stuck in the same situation probably there's a lot of animosity what went on behind the scenes that we do not know!? 0:01
Thank you for doing so much research for this! I appreciate your videos. I started watching the show again last night and definitely feels like the drama off screen taints the show for me. Still this is my favorite show. I give the credit to Holly - however imperfect she is.
Thank you!! And yuss, they don't seem to realize that the people this affects most are the fans they say they care so much about.. I've been trying to think of a few video ideas to cheer us Charmed fans up, and hopefully they'll be able to help a little!
@weirdlybeloved You could do one of your favorite charmed spells, favorite charmed creatures, favorite character movements, etc! Regardless - super excited for what you put out!
I fuck with you so hard. Crazy is the things that you’re saying is what I’ve been saying for years, but have been getting hate from the Charmed fandom. I love you so much. I feel like as fans (I literally saw the first episode air. I only missed three episodes live up until season five faithfully: Deadman Dating, Wicca Envy, and Murphy’s Luck) we should be able to hold our favorites to accountability. I remember I got dragged for saying that someone has to not be telling the truth. Brad Kern said he fired Shannen Doherty and Shannen said she quit. Then people are saying I’m lying on Shannen because I pointed this out.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! And right?! I understand the fandom wants to protect the thing we all love - Charmed - but that shouldn't mean we all have to stick our heads in the sand and pretend that everyone involved is perfect and/or can't be held accountable for what comes out of their own mouths. Especially in Shannen's case; I'm not saying Brad Kern isn't a trash human being, because he absolutely is, but I don't get why it's okay to hold him accountable for the things he says and does, but with Shannen, everyone always has an excuse or justifies it somehow. I mean.. I have celebrities I love and admire too, but that doesn't mean I'll defend them if they do something wrong or get caught lying! It's bizarre.
It’s amusing reading the comments and seeing things like “move on,” “this isn’t high school.” Yet….here you all are on another video about the drama. Making comments about whose side you’re on and who is at fault. Just admit you love it. I’m invested in this because I grew up watching this show. When it actually aired. There were a lot of questions at the time. Questions that a seem to be clearing up. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want and who they want. But we wouldn’t be watching this video and this video would not have been made if we were all to just “move on.”
34:35 I feel like Shannen had issued an ultimatum that Jason Priestly mentioned before this happened and that Holly and Shannen convieniently left it out because it would make Shannen look bad. It makes so much more sense that Shannen would issue an ultimatum and that Alyssa said that she has evidence of hostile workplace environment and that she'll sue them if they fire her. Why tf would Alyssa not talk about hostile workplace environment to protect Shannen? I work in a toxic workplace environment. I get harassed at work. I was advised to get everything documented and to go to therapy. If I ever get that person fired, that's on them. Saying that Alyssa should have protected Shannen is victim-blaming. That being said, according to Rose, Alyssa also created toxic workplace environment. I wouldn't really call her a victim since she was also a perpetrator but saying that a person, who has suffered from hostile workplace environment, should just keep it for themselves so that someone doesn't get fired is so tone deaf to me. Also, this is exactly why statutes of limitaions exist. Because memories get foggy with time. Sometimes they might not be intentionally lying but mis-remembering the sequence of events or details. It's been 25 years. However, some of those seem pretty obiously that they are lies or intentional omissions.
You make a lot of great points, and I think the way you laid things out makes a lot more sense than Shannen and Holly's story! Idk if I trust what Rose says about Alyssa, though, because she's actually said before she didn't have any issues with the other women on set, and then she got mad at Alyssa over politics and suddenly Alyssa was this nightmare to work with on Charmed? Hmm.. sounds a little sus imo. 🤔 I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of that at work, though!! Is there anything you can do with what you've documented so far? Honestly, I can't believe workplaces let this crap happen in the first place, it's horrible! 😥
@@weirdlybeloved Thank you. It makes sense why Holly would say that Alyssa could have said no to the executives' decision instead of saying she shouldn't have issued an ultimatum. At least I don't remember anyone saying it. But it sounds to me like she didn't start it.I believe it could be politically fueled but the co-stars have come out speaking ill of the actresses so I can imagine all four of them creating toxic workplace environment. I can try to go to the superiors but it could back-fire if it isn't enough to get the person fired because I can make your life a living hell. Like in an abusive relationship. Plus, I Don't live in the US so the laws are not exactly the same but documenting and going to therapy is the best evidence in cases like this to show that it has been going for a while and you have written details of your perspective of what happened close to when the event happened, instead of like two years later.
Let's not forget holly was shilling for some MLM hair products during 2020 and that company had several lawsuits from its customers regarding hair loss and burnt scalps and when her fans were calling her out on promoting that awful company, she was blocking fans on social media smh
I mentioned the MLM thing in the video I did on Holly, but I'd never heard about the hair loss and the burnt scalps! That's horrible, how is that company still in business?! 😰
You made excellent points in this video. Thanks for showing all sides of the story, it definitely helped since there is so much going on with it. That being said, I'm still more inclined to believe Shannen and holly but all of them are equally at fault. Personally, I think if they would have just come together in a trailer or something back then and just talked it out, I think they would have been fine. Unfortunately, it didn't. I also think the company after Shannen's departure should have put... I don't know the right word to use here... but something to make sure both Holly and Alyssa were in a good place to come back to work and to help Rose enter the show without any awkwardness. It looks like they just fired her and then everyone went right back to work and was expected to move on when clearly there were still some things that needed to be fixed before that. But the show must go on as they would say. Peace to all of them though and all they went through back then and all wanting to express what they feel. Sometimes what they say is hard to stomach but that is what happens when things are bottled up for a long time so to speak. many things get said. Many hurtful things. As a fan, I hope they can all find peace in the future because I would love to see all of them together on screen one day together even if it's not a remake. Even a picture of them sitting at a table together having a drink would be nice lol. Thanks for sharing this video, it was really helpful.
Thank you! I really tried to do as much research as I could, to keep the videos as balanced as possible! And yeah, I really wish they could all just sit down and talk it out - it doesn't even have to be on camera, just do it for themselves - because it's clear they all feel some level of resentment and bitterness over all that's happened over the years. Rather than let it continue to eat away at them and poison the well even further, I hope they can all find a way to forgive and move on with their lives.
True what Jason said this was while ago I member used to get the enquirer and there was bit where Tori Spelling begged her father to give Shannon a chance on Charmed
@@heathergraham2581 Tori has expressed guilt over going to her father about Shannen's behavior on 90210 and contributing to her getting fired. If she did actually vouch for Shannen about Charmed then I imagine it was her way of trying to make things right.
I feel like the four of them Shannon Holley Alyssa and Rose in real life there are witches the four of them because they are distracting the Fans to make them ignore the real situation because I feel like they got their fans on their spell because Shannon she's using her cancer for her Fame so for her Fame so it's like they doing everything to be in the good light 0:01 Shannen Doherty in Holly Marie combs and Rose McGowan they are reunited together against Alyssa Milano so the fight still continues Holly actually is she possibly playing the victim because she's using her politeness to distract the fans somehow she's showing her true side behind the mask so she had to play the nice girl all this time to please the parents because of course she is playing a character because I think I have to separate a character and a real life person because we may never know who are actresses that we love so much that played his characters because I would rather be attached to Piper than a real life person Including the other characters because I think I would prefer be attached to the characters then the real life people because these four actresses are inspirational but we may never know what they are about because I would rather be attached to Prue Piper Phoebe Paige because I think the characters are more important than the real life people because you may never know what are their intention 0:01 I am sure that Shannen Doherty Holly Marie combs and Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan they have to be witches 🔮🧙🏾♀️ in real life who knows 🤔 I can sense their penis so someone tells me that they are casting spells on each other 0:01 Rose McGowan she admitted that she was part of a cult when she was very young in Italy can Rose McGowan also practice rituals if she is really a Witch in Real life that also includes Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie combs and Alyssa Milano but the four of them are very strange when they try to influence Fans 0:01 I could see that they will use their story to come out with every secret weapon 0:01
Also again I just started watching this episode I'm only 3 minutes in, so maybe you do mention it throughout the video but I am curious to find out why you don't like Holly lol.
Oh it's definitely in there! I just wish I would've known about some of it before I'd made the video on her role in the problems behind the scenes.. I just think she's really two-faced and not nearly as nice as she wants people to believe, haha.
@@weirdlybeloved so I watch the house of halliwell podcast that she had for a while, and I agree with you. I like Holly but I can also realize that she's a two-faced person. She is constantly throwing shade at Alyssa in the podcast as well.
@@weirdlybeloved there's just something about Holly that doesn't vibe with me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she stop being friends w shannon for a while because Shannon kept talking about her cancer? Or was that just a rumor? Can I watch past interviews when her and Shannon had their reality TV show and again she always made Petty / snarky statements about people.
@@Thisisnotapipe_ And see, that's really sad.. the podcast is supposed to be for fans of the show, not an excuse to vent out every issue Holly's ever had with it. I kind of wonder if that's why they're looking to release the podcast under a network in the future, so they can say whatever they want without worrying about their funding the way they have to with Patreon? 🤔
@@weirdlybeloved I was assumed that they stopped it because they weren't getting enough money from patreon so having it under a network would guarantee them a certain amount of money per episode? I don't know how podcast work lol. But she was constantly throwing shade about guest stars co-stars producers you name it. Drew and Brian never said anything bad about anyone.
Wow, i learned a lot. Thats ashame they cant get over their own shadows and move on. I will always have love for all 4 of them. All of them have a lot of talent, of course with Shannen gone, we will never truly know. But I've noticed that Alyssa has become the "politician" with her posts and all. I get her husband is a CAA guy and a lot of money comes through them. Especially with memoirs of presidents go through them. Rose is an interesting person. The quote that she used was kind of dumb because history is written by the winners and they make the "losers look worse than they are. Holly is just an engima. But anyways, i try not to think to hard about. Nothing anyone can do. But if they cant keep a story straight then time to get them to talk about the good times. I wish them well but its sad to see heroes fall.
Very true! I hope going forward that they're able to put aside their differences and move on with their lives.. or at the very least stop weaponizing their fans against one another.
Honestly this video makes me wonder if holly is not the reason why shannen and alyssa got to hate each other, because if we’re being honest both shannen and alyssa were on the spotlight so I feel like holly was frustrated to not get the same treatment. I think she could have manipulated both parties to get what she wanted. And I feel in a way maybe she felt threatened by alyssa because her and shannen could have been the best duo from the show and she didn’t want to be abandoned by shannen in favor of someone with more star power.
Same here! The fact that Holly herself has referred to herself as the "middle child," the "neutral" one, but cannot seem to get along with both Shannen and Alyssa at the same time is definitely a red flag. It's like she wanted them to get along just enough to be able to work together, but not so much that she lost control over the puppet strings.. she certainly doesn't sound like a very nice person or friend.
@@fruitvale8902 Right?! I'm starting to wonder if that's why Piper's character started acting the same way as the show went on.. maybe Holly just decided to be herself. 🤷
Shannen apparently owns a small percent of Charmed despite getting fired? / quitting? Could they really fire her that easily? I don't know how these kind of office politics work. Can someone explain that? Also I feel like Alyssa was trying to steal Holly from Shannen and it made me think back to a comment she made about how Charmed was kind of like high school and Holly and Shannen retorted that she never even went to high school...it made me think that it WAS probably like high school and Holly being the indemand friend...she probably loved the attention but that's just me.
The podcast ep with SMG was a great ep huge fan of both like yourself they actually didn’t touch on buffy much at all and was more on their friendship so give ut a listen as its not as bad i was worried too before hand and just thought their goals for friendship SMG is goals in general for me icon is not the word legend is x
@@Paradeboy Thank you so much! I'm glad you're liking the videos! And yuss, I'll definitely cover that episode at some point ~ I always loved Jenny McCarthy's character, she was hilarious! 🤗
I will admit all this nonsense is entertaining in a nostalgic wat even though is toxic af. I do think that Shannens account is probably closer to the truth but her health issues are clearly driving the emotions behind it. I think holly and rose are just making it more complex than this would probably be if it was just between Alyssa and Shannen. I do think they are all hurt and were likely dealing with a hostile set and never dealt with the trauma.
Shannen did them a HUGE favor by not taking them to the bank and suing me personally. I felt that she should’ve had listened to her reps and used that pay or play to her advantage. Aaron definitely did her wrong on Charmed, and even in 90210, both shows, Shannen should’ve been demoted to recurring if she was that horrid to work with and them brought back to series regular in a season or two of being reoccurring.
@@emorylamarIt's very possible that she got the short end of the stick on Charmed, but she definitely was not "done wrong" on 90210. That was just her own behavior catching up to her. I'm glad that she seemed to learn from it and grow afterwards, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen in the first place.
Eh, can't really say as I blame her, I'd probably do the same, lol. I do wish she would have considered the offer to come back for the finale, though, just because it would have been awesome to see Prue one more time.
What you said about Holly Marie combs she is ruining Charmed for everyone else what you showed in the podcast how the way she behaves very immature like she's in high schooler like this is beef just like high school and it's important to make a difference between a character and a real life person because you can never compare them We are so attached to Piper because we think that's the real life person could be nice just like Piper so we cannot be fooled so it's very important to make a difference a character in a real life person !?
Well said video. I hope "they" have seen this video. It's like they get more juvenile, petty & vindictive as time passes with the exception of AM. Yeah, at this point who cares what happened. Just close the Book 📖 (of Shadows) and move on. Hey, maybe there's a spell for vanquishing the dramics sending it to the Demonic Wasteland? 😂
I just started watching the video, so you probably mention this somewhere in it and I just haven't heard it yet but just in case you haven't, I think the reason why people take what Holly and Shannon say as the absolute truth is because over the years more and more people have come out who say that Alyssa was the problem. You have Rose McGowan coming out and saying that Alyssa was an absolute nightmare to work with. Even Alyssa admits now that she was the problem.
When did Alyssa say that she was the problem? I mean, I know she took responsibility for her part in the tension/sense of competition, but did she say something else? 🤔
@@weirdlybeloved I think you mentioned it in the clip where she was being interviewed by the guy. Maybe I misunderstood but didn't she say that it was her fault that she was super jealous of Shannon and that's why she got her fired? Or at least heavily alluded to it? I personally don't believe anything that Alyssa says only because every time she's asked about it, she makes it super vague so that she looks like the better person. Whereas rose made specific allegations about Alyssa.
I will agree on Holly. Aside from her non stop flip flopping and retelling of the events however she feels fit, she just comes across as petty even when she's on this whole thing for a sweet paycheck. I stopped listening to that podcast bc despite Drew's efforts to make something interesting for the fans, Holly would always nag about something and go off topic with BK for a good chunk of the episode. She's either complaining about stuff or throwing shade indirectly to Alyssa, through talking about Phoebe. The shade isn't even slick and they constantly downplay it when they are asked by fans. They did do a convention in my city and I went to their panel but i didn't stick around in a line for a paid selfie, something i would have done in a heartbeat 15 years ago. Their attitude has ruined my perception of them and i did love Piper like most people....up until season 4 where she was still Piper and not HMC whining and verbally abusing Leo at every chance given. This whole attitude just rubs me the wrong way and the back and forth with the drama has stained whatever legacy this show had. I wanted to snort out loud when the interviewer on that panel told them the show was feminist when the 25 y.o off screen cattiness has overshadowed everything. There's literally NOTHING positive or wholesome about this show and it's all thanks to their stubborness and immature stance for years now.
Right? And the thing is I don't even get why Holly is completely fine bashing Alyssa now, because just as recently as 2020 (I didn't know this before making the video, otherwise I definitely would have mentioned it) she posted on Instagram calling Alyssa her ride or die, and tagged a bunch of other women (including Rose) but didn't even so much as mention Shannen, let alone tag her. So it's very clear that whatever happened between Holly and Alyssa happened long after Charmed, and if Holly was honest about that, then I'd have no issue. But going back and rewriting history to paint someone in a bad light just because you don't like them anymore is so wrong, and if she had any self-awareness at all she would realize that it says much more about her than Alyssa. And completely agree! Piper was always my favorite, but the longer the show went on the less it felt like Piper.. I just didn't realize at the time it was Holly Marie Comb's real persona showing through, because Holly always seemed nicer than that, but.. I guess not. I just wish they'd stop making their personal problems into the fans problems, and handle their issues like adults.
@@weirdlybeloved Exactly, they should have had closure by now and moved on, like grown adults. Holly herself knows the real evil was the studio and how they tried to keep them apart to manipulate them better so pointing fingers at one person without providing receipts seems hypocritical. Either spill the whole tea or keep it shut. Also, nobody cares if two co stars dated off screen but they had different partners on screen so she needs to stop making quips about that. It's not the first time this happens on a tv series. They've been called out by several guest stars on the show that they were all pretty much horrible to work with and the experience was negative. It's laughable they all came out and said they tried to protect their fans from this drama when it's all they talk about for years since the show ended and they still stand in the same place two decades later. Shannen didn't have the troublemaker reputation for no reason back then; she was having brawls with co stars and was generally too overbearing on set. Her ex co star visited her on set and she blatantly mentioned she wanted Alyssa out, lol. Seeing how she pushed for the show to remain dark and mysterious could have also contributed to her firing, since Brad Kern, the source of all evil, switched the tone of the show later on to something more camp and childish. So, the fans that swear the show would have been better if Shannen had stayed are wrong; the minute Constance was fired and that loser became showrunner everything went downhill.
It was probably Rose who encouraged Shannen to make that statement and not allow a “loser like Alyssa to rewrite history.” Holly didn’t look mean she looked uncomfortable and disappointed as to what and where and how they have reached this point again. She whispered to Shannen “I feel like shit.”
I'll agree to disagree on Holly's disposition, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rose was encouraging the drama behind the scenes. She seems like the type, unfortunately.. 😞
Unrelated to my long list of things I've commented but please watch the SMG and SD podcast. They don't talk about drama, just the friendship and how Shannen is GOOD and how Sarah is GOOD - they're good for each other. How they met, family dynamic and obviously the shows they've done and how they were both the leading ladies. It's so warm and positive and you learn a lot more about both of those talented angels.
Hmm.. I think I'll still skip that one just to be safe, but I'll definitely be watching the ones Shannen's done with her doctors and stuff. I always think it's really admirable when someone with a huge platform uses their own struggles to try and help others learn from their situation! I'd loooove if Shannen could get Fran Drescher on her podcast, since they both have dealt with cancer and have been very candid about their experience! Together I'm sure they would make a very powerful team and could probably help a lot of people!
I don’t think HMC is two faced or the troublemaker at all. If anything, she just looked tired. I remember watching her many times at different cons years ago and she always had the biggest most genuine smile. She never spoke a single bad thing about any of her colleagues and was really the only one pushing for a charmed revival. That’s one of the reason why she’s so beloved by fans. It’s only recently that she became increasingly unhinged. Maybe she got fed up with being the only one who cares, or something must have happened that made her snapped. Either way, it’s heartbreaking to see Alyssa having to fight against the “power of three” (holly, shannen, rose).
I never liked the Charakter of piper. And I had my reasons. Piper Was always complaining over everything. Always nagging and commanding ppl what to do and not to do. Always putting everything the way she wanted to, to fit her narrative. And I never understood how so many people said piper was their favorite sister. I always wanted her kicked out. And I was thinking all that as a child. Funny how it turned out that Holy is as aweful as piper.
For real! Piper actually was my favorite sister growing up, especially since I related a lot to her sarcastic sense of humor, but the more I rewatch Charmed the more I'm like.. wow, when did she get so nasty?? Especially in season 8! I mean, Christy gets a lot of heat for manipulating Billie into wanting to kill the sisters, but honestly Piper was just as bad as her! She was ready to kill Christy, a human being, the minute it was convenient and I was just sitting there like.. wow.. this is the same Piper that cried when her doctor got killed because of their powers? Things sure have changed..😳
I have to respectfully disagree with your interpretation of Jason's memoir. I don't feel it contradicts anything. It sounds like Jason gave a brief summary of their conversation, not a word for word play by play. "Got her hands on a copy of the script" still makes sense with the network sending the script to her. That's how she got her hands on it, they gave it to her. Holly told it that way without SD even on the House of Halliwell podcast before all this drama broke out again, what would have been the motive for her to lie about it back then? Also, we know from Shannen & Holly that they originally were asked to read for opposite roles - Holly as Phoebe and SD as Piper. It would be a real stretch to come up with a reason that they lied about that detail too, what for, so I don't buy SD sought out the script and the role of Prue. It wasn't until after they got the script and came to the network that they shared with Aaron they felt they'd both be a better match for the other roles so that's likely being taken out of context and not what Jason was saying at all. SD did have a lot of bad press, but that didn't make all the rumors true. Or the press exploited and exaggerated many things, which definitely is a form of character assassination, so of course I can see Aaron agreeing it was a new opportunity to spin all that for the better. And if SD was really as bad or difficult to get along with as the press made it seem on 90210, Aaron didn't have to hire her on at all. So why did he? I know your video also revisited some of her remarks regarding her tardiness on the 90210 set, but I don't think she was contradicting herself. With time, people sometimes shift their perspective about things. Doesn't mean they were being dishonest. There can be more than one truth and it sounds to me like at one time she was just pointing out that while she was late around 4 times, others were late too so she questioned if that's why they really fired her. Nothing wrong with that. And on her podcast, it sounded more like her just taking accountability for her own general tardiness on 90210 regardless of anyone else and admits she was responsible for herself. She didn't delve into "gossip" about what the others were doing at the time. Now the part where she told Jason she wanted to go to Aaron with her own ultimatum? Yeah, given what was happening I can see that as being true. This was s3, the height of the feud after all, but it sounds like she heeded Jason's advice and when asked later on, like Holly stated, she told them not to fire AM. Unfortunately, the same apparently can't be said for Alyssa who, in my own estimation, her move to get SD off the show appears a bit more sinister and calculated. She used the "system" and a mediator to her advantage for her own ultimatum. Shannen sounds as if her reaction was more of an emotional response to the situation which is why she vented to Jason but at the end of the day, thought about what he said and didn't follow through. If Alyssa still got her fired, the fact that she did do it and SD didn't, regardless of how SD may have been feeling at the time, does show a different type of character imo.
Well, to be fair, even back in the day Shannen was good for telling stories in a way that put her in a positive light, and I'm I never said that I thought they were lying about being asked to read for the opposite character, I was saying how weird it is to envision them in the opposite roles. And you asked what motive Shannen would have to lie to Holly about how she got the script; even back then Shannen was good for spinning things to put herself in the best light, and I'm sure that Holly - being Shannen's bff - was treated to quite an earful about what Shannen thought of the cast and crew of 90210 after her firing. They even talk about that on the podcast; I'm sure that after how much crap she (likely) talked about them, telling her best friend that she willingly wanted to work with them again wouldn't exactly roll off the tongue, so it was easier to say that they sent the script to her, and go from there. Obviously we'll never know if this was the case or not, but there are definitely potential motives for something like that. And, uh.. I have to respectfully disagree with what you said about there being more than one truth. There's different perspectives, for sure, but for the most part, there is one truth. Either something happened, or it didn't. Either Shannen made a habit of being late on 90210, or she didn't. Either Shannen didn't come back for the finale because of the way it was written, or she didn't even ask how it was written and just said no. I feel like a lot of people use the 'my truth' thing as a way to blur the lines of personal responsibility, and it's a really slippery slope imo. And as for why Aaron would have hired Shannen back after being difficult on the set of 90210, Jason described that in his memoir which I also read on the video and you also mentioned in your comment, so I feel like that's been covered already. And see, that's the thing.. you're taking Shannen's word for it that she was only late around 4 times on 90210. Almost everyone else on the show has said it was a LOT more than that and that it was "habitual," so really.. they say the simplest answer is usually the right one, so either Shannen is downplaying how often she was late, or everyone else is just lying to make her look bad. I think it definitely speaks for itself which one is more likely. And Shannen didn't actually take responsibility for being late on the podcast.. after years of lying and saying that she wasn't late, she now claimed that she actually WAS, but it was because of Tori and her husband, and then later in the same podcast goes back to saying she wasn't the one being late to set. I'm sorry, but that's not taking responsibility, that's passing the blame. And as for the mediator, it's always possible Alyssa manipulated the situation, but it also did not help Shannen and Holly's case that they point-blank refused to even SPEAK to him. To an outsider whose job it is to investigate the issues on set, I think being iced out by two of the three actresses would definitely give you an idea of what the problem is. And actually, if you think about it, Holly and Shannen learned nothing from the situation because they would still rather talk ABOUT Alyssa, rather than to her. Which is especially odd for Holly, who was bffs with Alyssa even long after Charmed ended.. you'd think they would have hashed this all out years ago, but Holly acts like they never did.
I think it's foolish to assume the state of these celebrities' friendships/relationships behind-the-scenes. Alyssa and Holly making public appearances together during and soon after the show ended does not a friendship make. This is, after all, business.
@@vamikos Lol, I love how people never seem to realize that their own logic will apply to themselves as well. You literally followed up "I think it's foolish to assume the state of these celebrities friendships/relationships behind the scenes" with your own assumptions about Holly and Alyssa's friendship. 😂 And fyi, they were friends until just a couple years ago, not just "soon after the show ended." Maybe next time do some research before you decide to share your opinion?
Thank you! Haha yeah, it was kinda tainting the show for me too at first, but I've started rewatching season one and it's just too great to let their drama keep us from enjoying Charmed! 🥰
Honestly I’m just sick and tired about the bad blood over a show that was on the air over two decades ago, and with Shannon’s passing I think it’s better for everyone to move forward. I wish the ladies could have buried the hatchet and come to some sort of mutual understanding, they didn’t have to best of friends. I did some acting back in the day and couldn’t stand some of the people but I had a job to do and had to act professionally and politely, your not just going to spew vitriolic rhetoric about that person because that’s not what adults do. We don’t need to be all come by ya but we can put things aside in service of something bigger than an argument.
It is like three jealous individuals /three individuals that want to have a common enemy and one person standing alone. Outside of Charmed can anyone specifically listed any other job(s) “the other three” have had since 2006. Just saying. And none of the men have gotten involved in the drama.. that is a telling point too.
Kind of feels that way sometimes! Post-Charmed I've only seen Holly in PLL, Rose in an episode of Law and Order SVU, and Shannen was on Dancing with the Stars.. but otherwise I don't think they've done any major projects. I definitely feel Holly at least is resentful of it, given the way she talked about her career in one of the podcasts. She doesn't like the roles she's being sent - "I don't wanna guest star on every TV show out there." It's like.. wow, maybe try to be a little grateful you even still get offers? Jeez. In the end, it would be a lot easier to believe they're the wronged party if they didn't always act like petty little mean girls.
@@weirdlybeloved and I have seen Alyssa say in an interview that she take blames for being competitive. It is like Alyssa has moved on, but the ladies haven’t. But we as an audience have to respect that they are not at a place where they can “work” together.
I am sensing that Holly Marie combs and Brian the relationship had some falling out it seems like she wanted to throw everything in their faces in the panel when they were on life so she wanted fans to know her true face so this is why she stick her middle finger in their faces so to prove to her fans that she cannot always be nice how people expect her to be nice so I'm getting the bad girl vibes from Holly 0:01 It could be possible that she was jealous of Alyssa because probably she had a thing for Brian so who knows 0:01 I am so excited that you're going to talk about to talk about things that did not make sense in Charmed who I am so excited that you're going to do the trailer review on the Warrens Melinda Warren she was the first Witch that to birth The Charmed ones so I am sure that she had three daughters then one 0:01 But it's my theory so I am sure that the Warren cousins they keep their family bloodline secret so the outside world The mortals or I could see the mughals I love seeing that word they cannot know that they are related to legendary witch that was burned so they have to keep it secret this is my theory 0:01
I love your videos on the show, but I don't want to meet the actress once I decide to go to cons again. I still love the show, but I wish we could have gotten a return of Prue.
Thank you! And right?? I used to think it would be SO fun to meet the actual actresses of Charmed, but now.. eh, maybe not. Although I have heard that Shannen is usually very nice towards fans, so she might be safe to meet, if you ever get the chance!
Shannen couldn’t have possibly got her hands on the pilot script unless it was sent to her. She was never the first choice though I think Jennifer Love Hewitt was considered before her.
Actually it's really not that hard to hear about/get access to stuff like that if you have the right connections, so there's definitely more than one way she could have gotten the script.
Honestly they're all in their own way at fault, they're women in their late 40s to early 50s, entirely to old to be acting like children, they were to old then & definitely way to old now. You're supposed to mature as you progress in live not get worse, like honestly idk how fans still say "hope a charmed movie will happen soon" when every year or couple of years this shit happens. When will people understsnd it will never end because they don't want it to & all think they're right. I love all of the show i really do, but i get sad when i think ahout how much greater it could've been had sexism, actors egos & overall just lack of unity on all fronts get in the way.
Very true! I would have loved a Charmed movie, but after all of this I don't think anyone could really enjoy it, so maybe a prequel of some sort that doesn't involved the original actresses would be a much better idea!
@weirdlybeloved I know it won't happen, but a prequel series would be good actually the charmed reboot was originally supposed to be about penny & patty in the 70s lol I would've preferred that to what happened lol
I think one of them went back and forth with one of the actresses, but mostly I think their issue was with the show itself. Which.. can't say as I blame them. It feels like the reboot took everything people loved about Charmed, threw it 'out the attic window,' and replaced it with a cheap knockoff.
I love your videos so much thank you for explaining everything about the true faces of these four actresses because something tells me that they are real witches in real life because Hollywood is full of spells because of the movies TV shows that we see so they are trying to weaponize people with words or with their magic spell because it's crazy that's some people there are they are listening each of these women it's like you have to be team Shannon team Holly or team Alyssa or Team Rose like people do not have a choice. 47:58 Something tells me about Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie combs and Rose McGowan they are joining forces together against Alyssa Milano so they could be the greatest powerful women all of them all in real life the four of them have to be witches in real life Alyssa Milano she has to have to empower women and also we need to movements so they have to be a witch War somehow 47:58 I'm not sure if the four of them are which is in real life but something tells me that they are influencing fans so they could get more famous from them so like that they will be uplifted somehow so people can put them in a big pedestal so in my spiritual I feel like this is what is happening 🤔🤔🤔 47:58
@@weirdlybeloved it's nothing you're welcome those are my facts but I've noticed that Alyssa she had more success than them so she always had other roles could this be jealousy because it must be some jealousy because probably Shannon and Holly and Rose are jealous of Alyssa probably this is the true bakery that's going on behind the scene because probably because they are fighting over fame who knows ?!
There’s a difference between quitting your job and being fired from one. Many employees will not hire you if you have a past of being fired. She claimed she quit so she can get acting job opportunities. Now at the age of 51 where she knows acting is not gonna be anything she will be doing soon she is speaking her truth the fact that she was in fact was fired. Did she bring it upon herself? Most probably she does seem entitled and like you said condescending. Alyssa is a big red flag though especially for siding with Weinstein and going against Rose truly disturbing. Alyssa will do anything and walk over anyone to keep herself in her bubble of luxury and power.
I know, I'm just saying that if the only reason Shannen will tell the truth now is if the lie no longer benefits her then that doesn't really make her trustworthy, you know? And I really wish you would stop accusing Alyssa of siding with Weinstein with no proof - the simple act of being friends with his wife does not automatically make her guilty by association - and as far as I've seen she's never been negative towards Rose, other than the one tweet she made about their political differences.
@@eastflames55 Fr.. it's very disappointing to see. She always seemed like the one who tried to avoid drama.. but social media has shown a very different side of her. 😔

I find it hilarious that in 1 of your other videos you said that holly's story was the most truthful and consistent Over the years information Now you're saying that she's the biggest liar of all of them Your story changes up a couple of times
My perspective on the situation changes as more information becomes available. If you watch all the videos I've done on the situation in order, the continuity makes much more sense.

@weirdlybeloved a spinoff unrelated to them is more likely lol they can't even talk in a civilized manner on twitter let alone working together lmao
@@Tbird0724 Very true!
Definitely not what I would expect from women in their 50s!

This. She is Fakelyssa 😂
Ooh, I would love to watch that! Do you happen to remember where you might have seen the video?
@@francoisleborgne6259 Thank you!!
Not two faced… literally is the mediator. Alyssa brought it on herself after defending Weinstein then promoting her book using the Charmed drama for clout. It’s only fair Shannen claps back and also makes money out of Charmed drama.
Holly definately had a hand in the drama! Holly plays both sides then the innocent!
@@Catalaya0549this is what I think too
Holly goes where the wind blows 😂
I wouldn't be shocked if in a few years it's revealed she was the mastermind causing everyone to fight lol😂
If Shannen had done the finale that would’ve meant the WORLD to the fans I guess she just didn’t care that much or think how much it would mean to everybody. Not that anyone has to do anything for anyone but I just think it’s kinda sad and would‘ve been good show on her part
It would have been amazing to see Prue again! I really wish she would have at least considered it.. 😢
She did a big mistake😢
If there was an issue with AM they absolutely could have filmed around it. She spent a decent portion of the finale dead anyway. Or they could have just had her in the end scene with everyone together, except Henry for whatever reason.
They stopped Brian from guest starring on the reboot he was supposed to guest star as The Whitelighter in the tape room Harry was stuck in and was then replaced by Diana the whitelighter.
If you got fired from a job, would you want to go back?

It’s really sad, it just seems that there’s a lot of high school energy is at play here 😔
Also, I will say, Rose had a VERY tough upbringing.

Definitely! I wonder what will happen when both Shannen and Alyssa cut her out? 🤔
@@weirdlybelovedI think she and Alyssa are DONE already!
Shannon and Rose were never competitive with each other like H
Shannon and Alyssa.
Yuss. Regardless of what went on behind the scenes, I'm always gonna love Charmed and nothing they do will change that. 😊
I hope that one day we will be able to see all of them together, this is so sad😢
I hope so too! 😢
Also Holly is confusing me lol. She seems to switch sides so often.
I wish some of you would just say that you hate alyssa because of your internalised misogyny and go

maybe a little late to the party but I will say the sarah podcast didn't harp on buffy really at all. there were a few questions but it was mostly about sarahs and shannons friendship. this is also probably one of the best videos presenting the issues with the charmed cast
I’ve been really loving your videos about Charmed recently! ❤
This is all so weird to see happen as a Charmed fan 😅
Whoops did not expect another one🤔
The bloopers are hilarious tho😂😂
Haha, yeah it was surprise upload! And yuss, he's the cutest little mischief maker! If he wants to be in the video that much then why not! lol 🥰
Melinda Warren she had a daughter and her name was prudent so she admitted when she looked at Prue so probably her daughter resembles Prue it could have been a past life crew that was Melinda Warren's daughter because she sacrificed herself for Prudence so I believe she had she had three daughters and then they became the Charmed One so she the one who birthed the first Charmed ones Melinda Warren 0:01

Meh - the show is still great. I can separate the characters from the real life actresses.

It’s amusing reading the comments and seeing things like “move on,” “this isn’t high school.”
Yet….here you all are on another video about the drama.
That's a really good point!
I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of that at work, though!!
I never heard of that
I mentioned the MLM thing in the video I did on Holly, but I'd never heard about the hair loss and the burnt scalps! That's horrible, how is that company still in business?! 😰
@@weirdlybeloved oh god, MONAT?! HMC has lost all my respect knowing that.
Lmao grams comment is so gold i can’t 😂😂
She probably does know and doesn’t want to get involved.
a great going over about a complicated and as yet undisclosed full story.
I don't think we'll ever get the full story, unfortunately 😢
Oh wow, I never heard about that! Thank you for letting me know, I'm going to try and see if I can find it!
The Enquirer is a tabloid gossip rag though. And if SD was so bad to work with on 90210, why would Tori want to do that for her?

@@heathergraham2581 Tori has expressed guilt over going to her father about Shannen's behavior on 90210 and contributing to her getting fired. If she did actually vouch for Shannen about Charmed then I imagine it was her way of trying to make things right.
I feel like the four of them Shannon Holley Alyssa and Rose in real life there are witches the four of them because they are distracting the Fans to make them ignore the real situation because I feel like they got their fans on their spell because Shannon she's using her cancer for her Fame so for her Fame so it's like they doing everything to be in the good light 0:01
Shannen Doherty in Holly Marie combs and Rose McGowan they are reunited together against Alyssa Milano so the fight still continues Holly actually is she possibly playing the victim because she's using her politeness to distract the fans somehow she's showing her true side behind the mask so she had to play the nice girl all this time to please the parents because of course she is playing a character because I think I have to separate a character and a real life person because we may never know who are actresses that we love so much that played his characters because I would rather be attached to Piper than a real life person
Including the other characters because I think I would prefer be attached to the characters then the real life people because these four actresses are inspirational but we may never know what they are about because I would rather be attached to Prue Piper Phoebe Paige because I think the characters are more important than the real life people because you may never know what are their intention 0:01
I am sure that Shannen Doherty Holly Marie combs and Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan they have to be witches 🔮🧙🏾♀️ in real life who knows 🤔 I can sense their penis so someone tells me that they are casting spells on each other 0:01

Very true! I hope going forward that they're able to put aside their differences and move on with their lives.. or at the very least stop weaponizing their fans against one another.
Great video weirdly
Thank you!
@@weirdlybeloved I can't stand Holly. She is such a negative bitter person.

You made a lot of great points! I wonder what the podcast would have been like if it was just between Shannen and Alyssa? 🤔
Never see a image or picture of Prue again even in comics heard it would cost to much cause they would have to pay Shannon
What you said about Holly Marie combs she is ruining Charmed for everyone else what you showed in the podcast how the way she behaves very immature like she's in high schooler like this is beef just like high school and it's important to make a difference between a character and a real life person because you can never compare them

You are my favorite person right now!
Aww thank you! ☺️
It was probably Rose who encouraged Shannen to make that statement and not allow a “loser like Alyssa to rewrite history.”
Holly didn’t look mean she looked uncomfortable and disappointed as to what and where and how they have reached this point again. She whispered to Shannen “I feel like shit.”
I'll agree to disagree on Holly's disposition, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rose was encouraging the drama behind the scenes. She seems like the type, unfortunately.. 😞
Did you find the video Holly said that to Shannen at the end?
She definitely seems happier in older interviews and featurettes.. I hope she heals and that one day they can all make peace. 🙏
Well, to be fair, even back in the day Shannen was good for telling stories in a way that put her in a positive light, and I'm
I never said that I thought they were lying about being asked to read for the opposite character, I was saying how weird it is to envision them in the opposite roles.
There was no mediator for months on end
?
It is like three jealous individuals
/three individuals that want to have a common enemy and one person standing alone.

I read somewhere that her and Constance Burge were part of the same talent agency so if anything she could have gotten the script via Constance.
Somewhere out there is a reboot that just wanted a chance.
I'm sorry, I don't get it.. someone out there is a reboot that just wanted a chance? 🤔
@@weirdlybeloved lol fixed it… I meant somewhere out there is a reboot that just wanted a chance lol
@@JaySan2k1 Uhh.. it says the same thing so I still don't get it, but it's fine.
@@weirdlybeloved I’m sorry… that’s strange. I was referring to the Charmed reboot wanting a chance.
Were the original cast of Charmed not all that nice about and to the new cast of The Charmed reboot
They have never said anything negative to the cast. Only about the show itself. To be fair. It did suck.
I think one of them went back and forth with one of the actresses, but mostly I think their issue was with the show itself. Which.. can't say as I blame them. It feels like the reboot took everything people loved about Charmed, threw it 'out the attic window,' and replaced it with a cheap knockoff.
@weirdlybeloved
That's exactly what I thought when I heard about the Charmed reboot.
Hollywood is run on “feuds”. Keeps them relevant. So it’s just business as usual.
Pretty much lol
I love your videos so much thank you for explaining everything about the true faces of these four actresses because something tells me that they are real witches in real life because Hollywood is full of spells because of the movies TV shows that we see so they are trying to weaponize people with words or with their magic spell because it's crazy that's some people there are they are listening each of these women it's like you have to be team Shannon team Holly or team Alyssa or Team Rose like people do not have a choice. 47:58
Something tells me about Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie combs and Rose McGowan they are joining forces together against Alyssa Milano so they could be the greatest powerful women all of them all in real life the four of them have to be witches in real life Alyssa Milano she has to have to empower women and also we need to movements so they have to be a witch War somehow 47:58
I'm not sure if the four of them are which is in real life but something tells me that they are influencing fans so they could get more famous from them so like that they will be uplifted somehow so people can put them in a big pedestal so in my spiritual I feel like this is what is happening 🤔🤔🤔 47:58
Thank you! I'm really glad you like the videos! ^^
I must commend you in your vocabulary. People just don't use the word "trepidatiously" casually.
Aww thanks! I was actually quoting Shannen's podcast though ☺️
@@weirdlybeloved Funny how I'm re-watching this video now.
Wow! I used to like Holly as well. Talk about career suicide!!!
@@eastflames55 Fr.. it's very disappointing to see. She always seemed like the one who tried to avoid drama.. but social media has shown a very different side of her. 😔
Social media has shown a very different side to all of them!😲
@@eastflames55 Very true! Social media is fun and a great way to stay connected, but there's no denying that it also seems to bring out the worst in some people.
Oh, I also want to say thank you for doing this research, and making this video. I watched all 3 of your videos on all 3, I had a feeling that something was going on behind the scenes, from watching the 1st season, but wow, I had no idea it was this bad!
Great job!👍
@@eastflames55 Thank you so much! 😊
I love Alyssa🥰
I find it hilarious that in 1 of your other videos you said that holly's story was the most truthful and consistent Over the years information Now you're saying that she's the biggest liar of all of them Your story changes up a couple of times
My perspective on the situation changes as more information becomes available. If you watch all the videos I've done on the situation in order, the continuity makes much more sense.
