When I was a kid, my parents didn't have much money. And then, one day, between 2006-2007, my father came home with a copy of this game for Game Cube. I was 8 years old, and I played the hell out of it. I have played through this game multiple times and it will forever stay in my memories. Thanks, father :)
I still play it on my PC, the truth is that it entertains me a lot, I started playing it on my ps2 as a child, I passed it 100% and then they bought me a PC and I remembered the game that I downloaded it again to remember those good times :)

I was 6 when my single working mom bought me a PS2 and this game with it. I spent hours on it and it remains to this day my favorite resident evil. It totally renewed the game style and introduced a new type of third-person action-adventure game.

This games helped me go through 2007, a very difficult year because i was bullied. I had so much fun and distracted me a lot over my reality, i finished this game like 50 or more times..... I'm not exaggerating and i used to take naps on the afternoon while this theme was played lol

Resident evil 4 was the beginning of the end for the Resident evil franchise. In my opinion Re4 was the best of all the Resident evil games. First time playing in first person shooter in the franchise and it is just as good as the originals. Taking a break from zombies showing you that the RE franchise isn't always just about and going to be about zombies. To me this theme has corrupted a divine feel and love every second of it. Long live Resident evil 4 I will continue to play this until my gaming days are over. From a humbling start in a mysterious spooky village to an outskirts Island containing a lot of bio hazard weapons and exposure........ This game is worth it. CAPCOM has gone downhill alot but please just do the best to save this franchise.

Lame villains (unless you are are scared of Salazar lol). Tank controls. Not scary. No zombies or any other traditional RE monsters, just Parasyte ripoffs and bugs. Leon's campaign started out good, with the dark atmosphere and the zombies, but then it just turned to the "action/shootemuparggh!!!" crap. Might as well have played a Call of Duty game.

I remember playing this when I was younger, on my dad's GameCube. I cried when I went into the village and the guy with the chainsaw removed Leon's head off and that's when I first realized that I liked this game. Six years later, I bought a PS2 and my first game was RE4 and even though I beaten it on the GameCube (Despite many tears) I replayed it probably a good 50 more times. I can't get over my first video game ever. It's still the best RE game in my opinion. That was probably all of 10 years ago. I still play it a lot too.

I remember more than 10 years ago, a friend invited me to play Resident Evil 4, I entered his house and the first thing I heard was this beautiful melody, today my friend has been 4 years since he passed away due to the pandemic, listening to this brings back so many memories of him and my childhood.
This theme, so calming and so much nostalgia within it. I remember when my dad decided to buy this when it first came out. He wasn’t really into video games as much as he was with arcade games he used to play in the 80s. But there were a lot of zombie movies around the time of resident evil 4 that he was craving to play a video game with zombies in it. We just got the GameCube a month before this game released and he and I would see this game was coming out. We never experienced the other resident evil games, this was the first one for us. I was a kid and I watched him play through this game many times to see what else he could unlock to make it easier and more awesome to play. I enjoyed watching him play it more than I wanted to play it. We’d always recite the merchant’s lines together and still do to this day. He’d occasionally let me play as long as my mom approved. It was my first rated M game. I did end up getting addicted to the game especially with the upgraded weapons he had achieved for me to play it. Now here I am 15 years later playing through it again and I’m still in love with this game. He’ll watch me play it sometimes. Now his game addiction has been cod zombies for the past 10 years. But this game is very special to us. So many memories. I do feel like it is a perfect game. At least top 3 for me. With the memories I have behind this game and the way it seemed to influence a lot of other games that we see today with different elements, I have nothing but love for resident evil 4.

This game took such a dramatic step-up from parts 1,2,3, that part 5 and 6 don't come close too. This is the best resident evil game in my opinion,bar none!
Resi5 was never going to be better then 4, the expectations were too high. Yes it doesn't beat 4, but it's unfairly criticized due to being in 4's shadow. It's a good game, but nothing is superior to 4 (or 2 in my opinion). 6 made a mess of the series (and completely split the fan base) lol
It's the best RE of this new set-up of RE games. It's a shame that Capcom doesn't know how to take a good care of the series anymore, and just focuses on making RE games based on the hollywood movies. RE6 it's not a bad game at all, but it's a great let down compared to RE4, and even RE5.
Tyler Johnson I look as RE in the same fashion, I really think you have to split the series in two due to the complete shift in gameplay style and I agree with your choices.

Amazing how this theme ended up being a source of nostalgia and bliss for all of us when we reflect back on our childhood. Here's a survival horror game rated M that we weren't even supposed to play and it turned out to be one of the video games ever made. Now when we hear this music... it reminds us of simpler times. Resident evil 4 was the beginning of the end for the Resident evil franchise. In my opinion Re4 was the best of all the Resident evil games. First time playing in first person shooter in the franchise and it is just as good as the originals. Taking a break from zombies showing you that the RE franchise isn't always just about and going to be about zombies. To me this theme has corrupted a divine feel and love every second of it. Long live Resident evil 4 I will continue to play this until my gaming days are over. From a humbling start in a mysterious spooky village to an outskirts Island containing a lot of bio hazard weapons and exposure........ This game is worth it. CAPCOM has gone downhill alot but please just do the best to save this franchise.

Tank controls. Not scary. No zombies or any other traditional RE monsters, just Parasyte ripoffs and bugs.

Leon's campaign started out good, with the dark atmosphere and the zombies, but then it just turned to the "action/shootemuparggh!!!" crap. Might as well have played a Call of Duty game.

The day has finally come when I realize my appreciation of this game has transformed to something greater. I used to be able to motivate why I was so fond of it, but I have now come to another conclusion. I have become a fanboy.
I used to shiver at the thought of it being a possibility, but as reality finally caught up with my delusions, I am surprisingly indifferent about that fact. This game has slowly seized to be a rational part of my life, and has entered a realm of divine immortality, where no criticism can ever hope to reach.
My God, this game is good. If only something were as complete as this, I could die in peace. As for now, my journey will continue towards its nonexistent end, and I will remember this as the absolute peak of my life as a gamer.

I remember playing this when I was younger, on my dad's GameCube. I cried when I went into the village and the guy with the chainsaw removed Leon's head off and that's when I first realized that I liked this game. Six years later, I bought a PS2 and my first game was RE4 and even though I beaten it on the GameCube (Despite many tears) I replayed it probably a good 50 more times. I can't get over my first video game ever. It's still the best RE game in my opinion. That was probably all of 10 years ago. I still play it a lot too.

This theme, so calming and so much nostalgia within it. I remember when my dad decided to buy this when it first came out. He wasn’t really into video games as much as he was with arcade games he used to play in the 80s. But there were a lot of zombie movies around the time of resident evil 4 that he was craving to play a video game with zombies in it. We just got the GameCube a month before this game released and he and I would see this game was coming out. We never experienced the other resident evil games, this was the first one for us. I was a kid and I watched him play through this game many times to see what else he could unlock to make it easier and more awesome to play. I enjoyed watching him play it more than I wanted to play it. We’d always recite the merchant’s lines together and still do to this day. He’d occasionally let me play as long as my mom approved. It was my first rated M game. I did end up getting addicted to the game especially with the upgraded weapons he had achieved for me to play it. Now here I am 15 years later playing through it again and I’m still in love with this game. He’ll watch me play it sometimes. Now his game addiction has been cod zombies for the past 10 years. But this game is very special to us. So many memories. I do feel like it is a perfect game. At least top 3 for me. With the memories I have behind this game and the way it seemed to influence a lot of other games that we see today with different elements, I have nothing but love for resident evil 4.

Resi5 was never going to be better then 4, the expectations were too high. Yes it doesn't beat 4, but it's unfairly criticized due to being in 4's shadow. It's a good game, but nothing is superior to 4 (or 2 in my opinion). 6 made a mess of the series (and completely split the fan base) lol

It's the best RE of this new set-up of RE games. It's a shame that Capcom doesn't know how to take a good care of the series anymore, and just focuses on making RE games based on the hollywood movies. RE6 it's not a bad game at all, but it's a great let down compared to RE4, and even RE5.
