I love how calm Wesker is when he's fighting shooting and talking
Because at the beginning of the fight he was actually holding back. He was too overconfident and cocky and wanted to play with Chris before killing him. But because of that he ended up lowering his guard and that ended up getting weakened, after getting weakened twice it was to late for him to get serious for a comeback even after fusing with uroboros (since he was poisoned that slowed down his bonding with uroboros)not to mention his incomplete uroboros form gave him those 2 weak spots. So at that point his defeat went from impossible to possible.
So the lesson is: If you fight to show up and get to careless you may end up regretting it.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the fact that at 7:51, Wesler pulls out his STARS Samurai Edge from RE1. I enjoy the fact that he kept it just to shoot Chris with it as a final betrayal to their former team. I applaude the game for tossing that in knowing some folks would never catch it.

I miss Wesker, he became a kind of mythical character who always was present in the saga, controlling threads but we had to say goodbye to him in RE5, it's sad, but even the badass characters have their end. Bye bye Albert, thaaaaaaanks for making of this an epic story 🖤

My guess is that either the Wesker in 5 was a Clone or the Wesker in the sample collecting game is a Clone

Well, it's a video game after all. It certainly would have made a LOT more sense for Chris and Sheva to have lost that fight though. Especially considering the fight scene in the beginning where Wesker EASILY kicks both their asses at the same time. But the game can't end with the main characters losing I guess.

These people... smh, Wesker doesn't see you, that's why you turn off the lights before shooting him. He can hear the rocket fire but he has yet to know from what direction, and he realizes that as soon as the rocket is near him flying fast, that's why he catches it. It's not hard to understand, just because someone makes a joke out of it doesn't mean it's stupid.

Sheva Alomar is a character that needs to return. When I played this game I played with my twin sister. She loved Chris so I was Sheva. At the end of the game when we fought Wesker, we ran out of ammo so it was a giant knife fight, and let me tell you the scene where they slash him to death is so rewarding. But Sheva's character in general was rewarding. She wasn't Claire or Jill. She worked for BSAA but to go toe to toe with THE big baddie in all of Resident Evil was phenomenal. All for Chris to get all the credit in the next game with no mention of her.
There is an email in RE6 from Sheva that’s written about Chris. It’s her sole mention in RE6 but it’s something.
Sheva should have thrown her glasses at Wesker; fight fire with fire.

@@brute6896 In order to even be close to light enough to move, it would have to be pumice or scoria, which still weighs 40-100 pounds per cubic foot, and that rock he punches is HUGE. But it doesn't have the appearance of either of those, and when it rolls it makes a sound as if it is incredibly dense and heavy. So basically Chris turned into the Incredible Hulk for a few seconds.

RE5 is honestly just as good as RE4 when it comes to gameplay and story. RE4 just had better atmosphere, though the early game of RE5 had me freaked out as a kid. All those villagers with the creepy eyes and how quickly they just turned on you. How suddenly it went from being in a village surrounded by peaceful inhabitants to being in a village surrounded by murderous infected with only some thin fences between you. It was disturbing. Superbly done. I never understood the hate this game got. It literally did nothing wrong. I think 99% of ''criticism'' were all the bullshit claims about racism. And the funny thing is, the entire cast, black people included, all found those claims hilarious and said it had nothing to do with race, noting how RE has taken place in America and Spain before without issue.

I always say that re5 should have been the finale of the saga. The other game could have been spinoffs or prequels, but re5 should have been left as the final part of the story.
To me Re6 was a damn joke, and Carla and Simmons were not threatening, they were annoying and were trying to Copycat Wesker in jealously but without success at the end. Only the ustanak felt kinda like a treat but he was a copycat of Nemesis. But well that is what Simmons and Carla were doing, trying to copy what was good. But without not even a close success.
Re7 and 8 were just scary situations and missions, must say they were kinda good. But any game a real ominous treat like Wesker's uroboros

Wesker was the pinnacle end game Boss for Resident Evil. RE4 Background Villain was Wesker the whole time and they set him up really well for the 5th game.

Yep, I feel like Wesker has a deep respect for Chris after proving himself fighting his way through all RE games on top of his phisical strength. I think Wesker sees Chris as another potential "superhuman" for his society. This is why he hesitates in killing him( that and plot armour 😆)

Wesker is one of my all-time favourite villains and I was upset when this was revealed by Capcom to truly be the end of him. I figured he'd come back as always. Let's be honest, the villain in RE6 didn't even come close to Wesker. Also really like the hand-to-hand fight scene early in the clip that was recreated in one of the Resident Evil movies.

Well the "villain" in 6... whichever 1 of the many you are talking about may not be as iconic bit atleast 6 the boss fights weren't all total trash like this game and it didn't suck to play single player unlike this.. I always kinda find it funny how people criticise 6 for being too action yet this one you fight in a volcano and have manjini motorbike sections, 5 is the worst RE hands down

For a time we all hated Wesker. But now that he's actually dead it really sends it home how amazing of a villan he was. I know there's a strong chance they intend to remake this game but I doubt they will top this version of him. From the glasses down to the canvas trench coat. Wesker goes down in history as one of the greatest original villans of all time.

I just realized that the incredible fight scene with Wesker in the re movie ripped this fight choreography off nearly perfectly
In a documentary about that specific scene. They even talk about how they used the bomb bay fight choreography for the fight between Chris/Claire and Wesker. Even showing side by sides to show that NO DETAIL WAS SPARED.

Not a pure action game. Definitely more of it, but it does not abandoned the horror aspects of RE at all. But thats what happens when all the protagonist are very seasoned zombie killing badasses.
RE5 was my first RE game. Even though I didn't understand much of what was happening when I was younger, I'd say it was a good place to start.
I loved RE5. It was more enjoyable cuz I had friends to play with. Fighting Wesker was definitely the most badass moment (except for the volcano)
RE6 however...no.
@@UncannyAura RE 6 is pretty much a game for newbies or guys who've heard of the game via videos or the internet. But playing RE 6 felt much of a copy game rather than a RE game to be played. Like looking back at RE 4 and RE 5, although they are action-oriented horror games, the reason it still managed to succeed because of being able to stay scary enough for players to learn the fight or flight route most of the time. Like introducing enemies with strong features or limiting ammunition would make players be scared of fighting them without a proper plan, requiring judgment. RE 6 is more of wasting your ammo away and killing zombies till the end of time, so you have little time to think what to do and more of just going into the action because of not needing to care about ammunition, which is a huge flaw in this installment.

Honestly, the most ridiculous part of this wasn't the boulder punching, it's the fact that either Chris or Sheva survived as much as a single punch.
Well, if Wesker killed them easily like he should have multiple times than there would be no game, its not really any surprise that main characters with plot armor survive things that should be fatal to them.

I love how Wesker pulls out his Samurai Edge on Chris. It brings you back to where it all began, where he put into motion the demise of STARS, and killed Enrico personally with that same handgun. This boss was totally kicking my ass because I had barely any ammo, and I was too lazy to replay levels to grind for ammo. But then one day I thought "What if I shoot the weak spot on his back with a rocket launcher?" So I bought one, and it actually worked. I beat him in less than a minute.
I like how Wesker just tosses Sheva around while actively hitting Chris.

I never wanted a re4 remake, but it's getting released soon and I'm looking forward to it. Now I wish for a re5 remake too. You can see how much love was given in making this iconic villain and scenes. Best lines and choreography!

this is by far one of the best games i ever played in my 12 years of gaming, yeah ueah chris punching boulder made no sense but i had so much fun playing this game, the melee and combo attacks are cool, the gunplay is good, i like the dialogues they always make me smile, wesker has great lines, the combat is the best in the series imo, i played mercenaries mode for 2 mounths straight, sheeva's ai was not bad imo

When Chris saw Sheva in danger it reminded him of that moment as he did not want to go through that again.🥺😞😭
