You need a T--55: Make sure its a long one, though, because the front two head bolts are down inside a small machined port. If you have a short socket the bit holder will not fit down the hole.
this car repair is made to keep you at the dealer while you are being sold another car. head gaskets at some point brake most head gasket repairs are hard but they are not this hard. the socket that most shops don't have tells you it's intentional not just bad design.
Turn the crank till the first piston is at its peak at the tdc.look down at the oil pump it has a mark on it.that needs to be lined up with line mark on the bottom sprocket and chain has a color coded link that needs to be lined up with those 2 as well.

What’s the difference in ED3 and EDG in simple terms
ED3 is regular engine. EDG is for PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle)
There is supposed to be a PZEV sticker under the hood if it is a EDG engine.

It's about a whole day's work about 8 hours so you're probably not going to pay less than a thousand

Worst therm housing ever.
Only becuase there are 2 thermostats in the housing. There is a bypass in the system to help if over heating.
Didn't even show how to take it off. Smh
