- Did you know that you can donate your hair?
Every time I had a major haircut, I looked at the hair on the floor and it was a shame that the hair which was still in a really good condition was thrown away. Since I take good care of my hair and regularly have trims, there were always barely split ends or other damage.
Just over a year ago, I decided to grow out my hair properly for a hair donation. Instead of only 10cm, the nexthaircut should be at least 30 cm. When the time had come, I thought "oh come on, let's go all in" and I cut off 50cm. Although I probably had that short hair the last time when I was a teenager and it felt really strange in the beginning, I do not regret it.
Because donating hair helps children who lost their hair due to cancer, alopecia or other reasons.
If you want to do something good, you can also donate your hair and if not, then you can just share this video, to raise awareness about this possibility!!!

Update: Since uploading the video, I am currently speaking to two charities / organisations and we are trying to find a good solution but nothing final yet. I would like to donate the hair itself (so not sell the hair and donate the money, I don't want the person who receives the wig to pay for it). Preferably, I would like the hair to be used in a wig for a child. Ideally, production and donation would be in the UK or Continental Europe to avoid excessive shipping. Please share and help me find a great fit for my donation. Thanks 😃
Good Luck finding a Charity for Hair Cut, as all of them are Con Jobs, they play on good people like us's desire to help, all to make money by taking huge salaries as non profits are not allowed to take profits but so they milk it via huge salaries, the more hair they get from you, the bigger the salary, they have a few poster kid stunts to make it seem like they doing right for show. Hey why do you not keep your cut rope of hair as something sexy to look at time to time for memories and just as a Gem! Or give it away to someone who would admire it as a bouquet of roses or gems!

Thanks 😊 Maybe... 🤔 Didn't want to go as short as shoulder length though as I am planning to regrow and shoulder length is usually the hardest to grow from (so damage prone due to all the friction)

My hair is getting close to my knees and I'm debating making the chop! I don't know why it's scary every time I do. I know it'll grow back but it takes a long time to and it's part of my hawaiian culture to have it long.
I wanted to donate mine when I found out I might lose it (c°°cer). It was quite long, very thick, and was worthy of a shampoo commercial. I did my homework and found out the truth about hair charities. Sigh. I hope you found a decent one.
PS- I kept my hair, btw, in both senses...but it's never been quite the same since going through treatment. Wish I could go back in time and heal naturally instead. Oh well. Too late.

Thanks :) I had it grow out super long so I could chop it to a length I would likely feel comfortable with. Maybe next time even shorter ;)

good point it makes you wonder how much good hair just gets thrown away, must be a few bags a year from just one hairdresser, they should have a sign up to donate your hair or ask you, they know they will be throwing it away its not like they want it, it becomes waste
love sport I agree, many people don’t know that hair donations are a possibility or simply don’t think about it when visiting the hairdresser. There should be more information on this topic so everyone can choose whether they would like to donate 😊
if they put posters up or the hairdresser asks people that would help, some people are nervous i guess and last thing they think of, guess you wish you had kept your hair from your other haircuts instead of it being left as waste, some probalbly dont think about what hapens to there hair especillay if its swept up before they see how much has been cut off

its simple aswell, even if just a few words when brushing the hair, the strange thing is people look after there hair soo good then just have it cut off and leave it on the floor to be thrown away

It looks amazing. You could.. Why am I doing this? Du könntest jetzt wo die Haare kürzer sind, die Inversion method ausprobieren. Und wie hast du englisch gelernt. Dein britischer Akzent ist on point. Ups du hast deutsch gelernt? So gut?? Du musst zweisprachig aufgewachsen sein. Deutsch ohne Akzent zu sprechen is quite challenging.

There will be many will disagree with me but that was a mistake on two counts, the first being the longer hair was a unique beauty for you, the second being all donation sights bar none are a scam.
