Met Craig at Little League park in Harvey, IL... the man is a living legend and was blackballed. He's a hero and inspiration for a ton of people!

Graig Hodges set the standard. First you got to get 25 or beat with 26 points in a 3 point contest round. Second, you got to get 22 consecutive points without missing in a round and third if you play in NBA you got to get 3 three point titles or beat with four. And for endurance and consistency you have to add up all points of all the rounds to see your consistency cuz that's real big were curry and bird might come out on top or mark price.

@ PR_23- I most surly do agree with you on this, and as a N.B.A. fan I feel robbed for not being able to watch this man finish out his career. I really do hate how him and Chris Jackson A.K.A. Mahmoud Abdul- Rauf got Black-Balled by the league.

He couldn’t guard me, and I am not good at basketball. He was a liability if he had to play defense. Stop with the blackballed for political views. He only played the last seconds of a quarter to try and put up a three point shot.

Greatest shooter who was black balled. His opportunity to expand his greatness was cut short. He should still be invited to All Star Weekend competition until his 19 shots in a row record is broken.

I would disagree with the "nobody knows about" part. I remember Craig Hodges back when I was in grade school. I remember him on the Bulls and the year he wasn't signed and was in 3 point shoot out in a generic jersey. He was the favourite player of my classmate. That year he hit 19 in a row, all my friends into basketball knew who he was.

  • @braviafeed

Please change the title to "young know it all, wet behind the ears little scrubs don't know who he is". Everyone that watched ball during that era knows exactly who he is.
