Did this yesterday and despite the truck being 29 years old it only took 1/2 hour to get the bolts out and the box removed. With two strong people the box can be lifted right off.
Man, the method of removing or pulling back the bed is such a hassle for me, I have to take off my camper shell, the bed liner, and then pull back the bed. Guess it's still better than paying another man to repair my very simple truck.
