I've been watching all your rice cooker videos today, amazing. For years I would buy a cake mix at the supermarket visualizing baking it but always a year or two later throwing it out in case it had gone bad. This is easier, safer and I've never seen cakes rise that high. Thank you.
You are welcome! Just remember that the cooker will turn off when it thinks there is no more liquid. Just let the machine cool a few minutes and click it back to cook. I had to do this a few times and all was delicious! So worth it.
It's soooooooooo funny that this video came up. I was thinking can I bake a cake in the rice cooker. I've been cooking with the rice cooker and wondering what could I cook next. Thank you for this!!
i have had my perfect cooker for a couple of weeks now and have used chicken wings in coke and necks in stout, i have also used stout with chicked legs, i cooked rice and added raisins, all turned out beatiful. i followed your cake instructions and am trying the cake cook. roy. i am 78 and find the cooker just right for a single bloke.
i just finished my cheese cake, let it stand for 30mins, in the fridge for another 30mins and its better than i get at the coffee shop i am going to try a carrot cake then a banana cake . i tell my neighbours and they question me when i say i do it in a small rice cooker. roy
A little tip: add the oil first so you rinse out the oil from the measuring cup when adding the water. I use a silicon spatula to squeegee out every drop.
Melissa Adams it was delicious. Just make sure to let the cooker cool down for 6 minutes on warm before clicking the unit to cook again each time it flips off. I think it took three cycles of this. Good luck!
A suggestion. How would it go by only mixing up half the recipe and cooking it. Either that or cook half the mix, to do what you did and then cook the rest, the same way and freeze it, if you are cooking for one or two people. At present I am researching this type of cooker, in order to decide whether to buy or not. Thank you, you have been very helpful.

My son might do this and I have a Wolfgang Puck rice cooker. But i'm using a brownie mix from Duncan Hines. It says 2 eggs and 2 tbsp for a cake like brownie and 1/4 cup oil. Does it work if I use the batter if the batter is made like this?
Third Street Kitchen Hi. the brownies worked out not so fine and i tried to cook it like um... well 5 times and it failed. The batter was really thick but not thin as your batter. I think brownies don't work.
Hyosung Park Might just be that brownie mix is just too heavy a batter. I have not tried brownies in this machine. Cake works. You do have to click it back on a few times when it goes to warm.
Third Street Kitchen Hi I finally got the cake mix and I doing it right now. My son pressed down 2 times and it doesnt look it is finish. I don't know but please help me. Probably we have to press another 2 or 3 times.
Hyosung Park yes that is correct. Let the machine sit on warm for five minutes in between each press to cool the heating unit down and press again. The box directions should tell you how long to bake. If it says 20 min, then it will still need to cook for that time or even a smidge more for dense
Burkemper100 Huh, i wonder. I don’t think it would cook long enough to really marry the flavors but certainly you could heat up a can of chili in one. But I may experiment and see if you can make chili.
@@sism3028 Easy, Use any brownie mix and mix following directions on the box. Setting the cook time depends on the rice cooker. Mine has a cake setting. Experiment with your cook time. I use a Panasonic Rice Cooker.
The cooker has just 2 settings, Cook and Keep Warm. After the cooker senses the thing cooking is done it automatically shifts to Warm. It is simple to use, & is a great little cooker for the money. I have made brown rice, white rice, oatmeal, steel cut oats, ramen, and grits. All have turned out perfectly. The small footprint is great, as I have lots of small appliances, & counter space is at a premium.
I can clearly see that you have no experience using a butter knife! If you were to use the end with the ridges when putting anything on the cake it will go on easier. You were using the back end aka the flat end in the wrong direction as well but hey your cake turned out good I've made it several times and it's delicious 😋
I love your WP Rice Cooker presentations! I just got mine the other day and your videos have given me a lot to work with. Just curious, have you done Beef Stew yet? Or anything with raw chicken? Keep up the good work!
I have not done stew yet but plan to! I have done raw chicken, when I did chicken teriyaki. It came out great! Just remember to use boneless meat. I have a few more meals planned. Thanks for watching!

Oh my gosh!!!! Your rice cooker is so cute. Ohohoh... this tutorial of yours is perfect. Easy, simple and hassle free. Thanks my lady.
love your wolfgang puck meals in the cooker
It looks like you used a bit more than 1 cup of cake mix but it turned out perfectly. I am nervous to try this.
Ooooh fantastic!!!! I woul love to cook more with the rice cooker !!!

3/4 cup measure is perfect 👌🏻
Hello, can you still bake the rest of batter and freeze this cake?
Linda colgan I just tried to freeze it and then reuse it for you and the cake didn't rise as fluffy. Hope that helps.
Please do more recipes for the GF Evolve grill too for the different pans that you can buy for it. Thanks.
Great idea. How long did the cupcakes take in the George Foreman Evolve Grill at 350F?
Caroline Honse somewhere around 13-15 min I think.
I will try this ! Thanks
How did the cupcakes turn out?
clevelandphil 👍🏻
How did the texture and flavor compare between the rice cooker cake and the cupcakes? And, thanks for posting this.
towakeup the rice cooker cake was a tat more moist but they were nearly the same
my cooker was not closed properly ..is it any problem if air goes inside the cooker while cake is baking
fantastic creators Hmmm...I would think that would only affect the cooking time.

WHAT? You can make a cake in a rice cooker??? I LOVE YOU my friend!!!!
I use chicken stock instead of water and strangely enough, the Vegans come back for another slice.
Omg I really wanna try this u are amazing 💕
great I need to try it
Love this! TY
loved the video keep up the good work :)
Thank you!
The mix is delicious with apple sauce instead of oil. Makes me want to try this and see how it works in the cooker!
hi i was wordering if you can make chill in the rice cooker?
Burkemper100 Huh, i wonder. I don’t think it would cook long enough to really marry the flavors but certainly you could heat up a can of chili in one. But I may experiment and see if you can make chili.
ok good luck
i made caned chill in the rice cooker and it was good
My rice cooker does a great job of making instant brownies.
How do you make them in the rice cooker? Would love the instructions please.

You saved my life thank you so so so much
Goodness! You are quite welcome! 😀 thanks!
Cook essential had 2 option, rice or time cooking up to 60 minutes. I don't understand why you need to restart since rice takes 20 minutes
Also it holds 5 cups. So how many cakes did you get from 1 cake mix box

stay safe

Please explain why you must use boneless meat, I wanted to try chicken wings but now I’m not sure. Thanks.
You repeat "go ahead" too much
