I have made this a few times and instead of shrimp i used Chicken ( Tyson Crispy Chicken Strip ) Cut in small pieces and it is delicious . Great idea and thanks for sharing.
dude I've done this with the already cooked frozen chicken strips and its a toss it in and forget it dish. super easy for a weeknight dinner for the wife n kids
Great recipe. Can't wait to try it. I don't have the Wolfgang Puck Rice Cooker, but I recently purchased a Cook's Essential Digital Perfect Cooker. Same principal. So thanks for sharing your recipes.
This looks amazing.. I just bought this rice cooker, after watching this video, and your mac-n-cheese video.. Can't wait to start cooking with it.. Thank you for uploading this. :)
Anthony Cappiello so glad you liked it! My halogen oven is the Big Boss Oil Less Fryer. It's been fantastic. A friend has the Fagor halogen oven and it is good too.
Wanted one of these but the local pharmacy had The Perfect Cooker on clearance for $7.50 so I couldn't pass that up. Like your videos and will implement your ideas
My pasta was good, but it came out a bit tough. How do I make it softer? Do I add more water? I used 1 1/2 cups of dry penne pasta, 3/4 cup water and 3/4 cup of Alfredo sauce.
thelostgirl101 I would add a bit more water and give it a go the next time. Some pastas seem to need a bit extra I've found too. You can give it a smidge more time with that too. Good luck!
Sorry to be a bother, but is there anything I can substitute the chicken broth with? My grandpa refuses to eat chicken I guess it makes him sick? But he loves Alfredo!
I believe pasta cookers turn off automatically when the water is absorbed by the pasta .I think the temp starts to rise so the rice cooker knows its done I have made this a few times now using Tyson crispy chicken strips and it is really good.
I don't know, somehow this doesn't make much sense to me. If you already are using a jarred sauce what is the point of using the rice cooker? Why not just boil the water put it in a pan add the sauce and then the shrimp ? Well Unless you don't own a Stove. I'm just Not getting the logic of this

momfrom NJ it's around double the amount of pasta and a bit more, depends if you like your past well cooked or al dente
