Does the dizzy dunker work well for rats too? Got some in my attic that I can’t completely get rid of
Make your next video 'Flame-Thrower VS Farts'
I'm not digging the bangs, Woods.
thats not a flamethrower
?
"I'm going to stick my hand in there and see if they're dead" Shawn you crack me up
Ooouop they’re in there!
😅😅😅standing there with a shovel... sticking hand in...
I thought he was joking. He was not lol
Crazy!!!
3:35
All these years subbed to the channel and i never seen Sean without a baseball cap or a beesuit. It's kinda weird seeing his hair.
I honestly think he looks good
He looks awesome this way.
@jock-of-ages73
Right?
Same, for some reason I thought he was bald or had a buzz cut
"I'm gonna stick my hand in there and see if they're dead.
No, they're in there."
Goddamn.
This man is a boss! Lighting yellow jacket nest on fire, with no beesuit, digging the area with his hand, eating larvae, and happily setting a hornet nest on fire! This dude is my hero!
Shawns videos normally: Catching Mice and Rats with traps, trying to be as humane as possible.
Shawns Videos as soon as he grows a beard: WASP NEST VS. FLAMETHROWER! I LET THEM BURN IN HELL!
😭
😂😂😂
BURN IN HOLY FYAH
gif of Simpsons character laughing with flamethrower: "KILL IT WITH FIRE!"
😂😂😂
-Unshaven, manly look
-Hank Hill quote
-FLAMETHROWER
-Eating larvae
Absolutely based.
The stubble, the lack of a bee suit, the safety squints as he completely incinerates a giant yellow-jacket nest.
Shawn is looking positively diabolical, and maybe a little unhinged lmao
and he ATE ONE
Halloween special
Pro: poison-free reliable way to destroy yellow-jacket nest.
Con: you may set your field on fire.
Pro: you kill the other yellow-jackets on the field in the same go
@@schneiderf1233 This wins
@@schneiderf1233 con: found the gas leak
I actually did this over the summer. Waited until night time, put on a jacket and motorcycle helmet and let them have it. Certainly produced quite the carnage and worked well on a huge hive
Then you gave them a motorcycle ride.
@6AxisSage yeah it comes complementary with the premium hot express service
And then you blew them up while not looking behind your back
So basically you ghost rider-ed them.
We had three nests this year. One was out in a safe area, so I doused it with brake parts cleaner and ignited it. It burned and smoldered for about an hour. However, I did not indulge in larva treats as Shawn did.
“If I’m dancing around, I’m getting stung”. Geez Shawn. Another great video
As a non-dancer, I concur. Might be a stroke, bees, fireants, but it's not intentional.
I used to work in a national park, and there was one spot that was notorious for below-ground yellow jacket nests. Unfortunately, our solution wasn't a flamethrower... it was a high-pressure water pump and a fire hose
Did you get stung while wielding the fire hose?
@@Eyes0penNoFear yes, but only once
OMG..im still laughing at the Hank Hill reference..😂
As someone with a phobia of wasps I support this content
Love it
You seem much more joyous in this video guess you had fun with the flamethrower XD
It's only natural for a man to love his big fire.
"We're gonna go Hank Hill style, propane and propane accessories" 😂
love how he is just nonchalantly sticking his hand into freshy burning embers of a yellow jacket nest, without even knowing if they are 100% all dead
The nicest family man turned into a beast!
Let's replace beast with hero
Definitely, Shawn is loosing it with the wasp nest videos
Yeah I think it's obvious with the thumbnail hes just having fun.
He's insane!
😂
He ran out of mice...
5:33 hes absolutely lost it!
Wasps: "we'll build underground, we'll be safe from things like fire!"
Shawn: "oh really now?"
Klaus Schwab: "You vill eat zee bugs and be happy."
Shawn Woods: "Challenge accepted."
My dad did this when I was a kid. Took care of the wasp nest, but the dog house was a write off.🔥😂
Ha! He actually did what many people dream of doing
Change the name to Mountain Man Monday. 😂
You sure take the expression "scorched earth" to a whole new level! Brilliant!
There was question in the WWZ book, what is worse then a zombie coming at you? A flaming zombie. That could apply to wasps too.
"Propane, and propane accessories!"
Looking rugged my man, must be the combo of the beard and flamethrower! Fun video!
Truly the most manliest of men,
Oh yeah nice beard by the way.
I remember when I was a child, adults used to put a small fire in front of the nest and disturb the hornets. They come out rushing and burnt immediately whilst airborne.
"I'm going to stick my hand in there and see if they're dead"......Funniest line from any of your videos, ever!!
That Beard looks Fantastic on you!
I bet the nest has great insulation.
A thing I've found interesting is after all the tree leaves have fallen off in late autumn, is to see a very large paper hornet's nest up in the tree limbs. Had no idea they were there all along when the leaves were in the full bloom of summer. Finding a yellow jackets nest is done usually by stepping on it, unawares to the dangers that are under my foot!
Smiling like the cat that got the canary. Great job man.
The beard! Yes! He looks like a viking! Grow longer!
Beard is showing so much promise, Shawn!!! Keep growing, and I'm sure it'll look fantastic!
I loved it, Shawn. A man and his flamethrower. It doesn't get much better than this 😁😁.
All types of bees, wasps, and hornets: We have painful stingers that will scare off humans
Humans: *pulls out flamethrower*
Back when I was in college doing glassblowing, we'd use the same kind of torch to heat select areas of the glass. We called it a fluffy torch. It's always a fun time when you use it, and super satisfying seeing those hornets get what was coming to 'em. Hell yeah, brother! 😎
Your wasp/hornet videos are always my favorite.
Just the type of unhinged Halloween content I need! HAPPY HALLOWEEN, SHAWN!
That looked super fun! Thanks for sharing the experience.
Lovin the designer stubble Shawn, much more rural living look.
I always thought these were like bees and made honey, after looking up what they really are yea FIRE!!
This is one of my favourite videos you have lately Shawn. Seems like your having a lot of fun, and are comfortable around the camera.
Now we need a video of you dancing around lol. I could totally see you doing the moon walk or getting sturdy 🤣 im laughing just thinking about it.
You need a Caption Contest for the still image of you burning the paper nest. I love your videos.
DEATH FROM ABOVE (propane and propane accessories style)
I think I have a dead rat/mouse in my house. When I returned this morning from breakfast, I smelled that tell tale stink. Have not located it yet, but it could be in the walls or attic. Shawn, thank you for this facinating video. My vision sucks today, so I have had to proof read my spelling too many times.
Hi Shawn back in the sixties and seventies people would put one of those nests in the corner of their wreck room as a decoration with no wasps in them of course.
Awesome video, Shawn! Plus, the facial hair looks good on ya! 👍
Thanks for the educational video, you highlighted practical uses for hornets that I wasn't previously aware of.
6:13 the look on his face when he’s torching the nest is hilarious 😂
This man has no fear. He will burn anything even though wind is blowing the fire against him. Gotta love it.
Who else thought Shawn on the thumbnail was somebody else?
Who knew fire brought out Shawn's crazy side. LOL
I didn’t realize you were the god of the underworld, thx
now this is a great method. nothing purifies like fire
"Are you seeing another exterminator! Is he licensed? Is he bonded? Is that what you want, someone who's licensed and bonded?"
That wide grin in the thumbnail cracks me up. Shawn Woods, a true pyro.
I've been burning yellow jackets for over 40 yrs.
Underrated comment
It seems like the fire made them retreat to the bottom of their nest.
That nest was quickly gone with flamethrower. Nice to see you without a cap
For Fred Fuchs sake, this is the most unhinged yet baller thing I've seen you do!
hhaaaaahha ....You're the best, this past year I've learned more than I ever thought I would about rats and getting rid of them---the best information came from you.
I just purchased two of the The Dizzy Dunkers right from Rinne! Can’t wait to set them!
I don't think I've ever seen Shawn without his hat on 🤔
I like this guy He talks so casual Great vid !!!
Your videos are more entertaining than any big budget movie! ✅
Seab I have watched several of your videos, and this one was by far my favorite,,
Now with warmer and warmer seasons, next year will be more yellowjacket nests to remove.
No hat Shawn is Crazy Shawn. That must be where he keeps his sanity. haha Good stuff man.
Dude laid the colony to waste and cooked larva with a flamethrower. Hats off.
And ate them
Now THIS is an EPIC way to end 2023's yellowjacket, wasp, and hornet season! 😁😁😁
The flamethrower plays an auxiliary role but I think the beard is the essential ingredient.
When I had a contract to rebuild 3 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, I burned out a paper nest one night with lots of water on hand. It was quite successful although with a dangerous risk of fire.
"We're gonna go Hank Hill style, propane and propane accessories".
When i heard that sentence, i knew it already the wasps are done for.
I didn't have much wasp activity over the summer, which for me is nice since I _am_ allergic, and then all of the sudden I spotted dozens of them trying to nest in some small bushes in front of the house. I've never seen anything like that before. It was somewhat challenging to kill them since I couldn't see the nest.
They're adapting. 🤣
I really like how you've expanded your channel... Im also glad that you dont do product advertising or commercials.... Thank you for everything that you do!
Awesome video! Looking great with the beard Shawn!
Never thought I would see Shawn finally using a flamethrower lmfao
I used to be a pest control technician for Orkin. Never in the whole time I worked there did I have to deal with a bee's nest.
Mostly sprayed for ants & cockroaches. We were trained to use powder after dark (so that they are all home). A flame-thrower was
never considered but now I seen this I would definitely try one!
This is the funniest wasp nest / flamethrower video I've ever seen.
He definitely enjoyed creating the thumbnail for this video!
YES!!! That'll you, I've always thought about what that would look like. Awesome video.
Haven't watched your videos in about a year, and man lemme tell you. Your beard looks sick my dude! 👌
Damn he ain't messin around. I like it. Flame thrower. I will have to remember that.
That one unemployed high wasp on that day: sun is so spicy today
3:35 famous last words
Also: "I like seeting things on fire"
Yeah man you are hitting your stride as a youtube creator here 😂 gotta be one of your best videos.
Bearded pyro Shawn... We've crossed into the Mirror'verse.
OMG Shawn you have a full set of hair! LOL i almost dint recognize you! Great content as always!
Other wasp people: "Now that I have this industrial strength impenetrable suit-"
Shawn: "I'm just gonna dance around if I start getting stung."
Love how you mop up the stragglers. It would have been cool had you yelled "Fire in the hole!"
"oh they're in there" *HELLFIRE*
works suprisingly well
could dump a bucket of water or two on the area if its to dry for the flame solution
Back to the seventh circle of hell from which they came.
I didn't know nests were so flammable.
I love the beard, Shawn x Keep up the great work
You are a unique character my man.....
Loved the content.

I did the Sevin suggestion this year... When I went to check a day or two later, something had dug up the nest. No idea what sort of critter did it (mice, chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, shunk, and racoon, are most common pests here), but I assume the yellowjackets must've been dead, else whatever dug them up would've already done so. Thanks for that suggestion.
