That Jackery solar presentation was probably the BEST ad insert I have seen. Very informative and was quite enjoyable to watch, also the video segments Jackery provided were very good.
“I love milling.” Me too. My grandfather had a mill and taught me a lot about it and had me milling timbers and boards while he did something else. My grand retirement plans include a saw mill and a tractor.
Hello Shawn, you were saying what is happening to the cherry trees that are dying off. I would bet you that it is all the spraying of chem trails in the air that they are doing all over the world. They are spraying aluminum Barium, and other bad stuff in the air. It is killing our pine trees and other trees in America. I been observing it for some time. I took forestry in college. It is also going in our soil. You should take a soil sample, and have it tested in that area that you have noticed on the cherry trees. I love watching all your sites it is very relaxing and educational. Keep up the great work you do. I agree that you need to focus on getting yourself set up for what can happen down the road. I always pray for you and your family that the Lord will watch over you all. The Lord is our hope in all things.
Shawn have you ever thought of building a covered area over the milling machine so that you can mill in all weather conditions plus protect the machine I have seen other homesteads do this & it seems to be a great way to take care of what you have
Hey Shawn, Is Off griding/Home steading possible in FL? I know its basically a humid, wet spot. I wonder what type of construct I can use, because logs here in Florida would be a termite buffet.
As you stood in front of your workshop, I wondered how the settling process is going for your past construction projects? Are they generally settling as expected, or not?
Hi Shawn what is the name of the hook like tool you pull big logs on the ground with? Lester Morrow of I’m A Survivor Sanctuary on TH-cam could use one of those for clean up work. 😊
Shawn, are you aware of the lanternfly it is a insect that goes through 3 stages of growth from birth to adult. each very different looking. these are feeding on hardwood trees in the US. I believe they came in through shipping from china. I am from pa USA. this is a mandatory inspections that we have been doing vehicle inspections for the last four or five years.
So many variables. This one (100 acres) is probably $300,000+ for bare land. It would be $1million if it was in a more desirable area and $100,000 if it was harder to get to and smaller.
We've seen a die back of cherry species here in Wisconsin, well personally SE WI, over the past decade. We saw drought conditions which stressed the plants and insects caused problems. Then we saw a couple of wet years directly after. Half of the trees were dying off, not the amount but literally one half of the tree would die. Upper crotches were infested with ants and large sections dropped off necessitating the removal of the entire tree to curb the spread of infection. They are wet soil intolerant. Heavy clay, packed sand clay soil was the cause over time of the demise of our area trees. Other trees better suited for wider ranges of soil conditions took over and the cherry species are all but gone. Those that are remaining are in sad shape and should be removed to get some use out of the lumber. At least for smoking wood. This year is super wet and will probably kill off anything else tucked away from open space.

Hello Shawn. You look so healthy and fit. Can you please go over again the foods you cut out and the foods you mainly eat. Also how you’re doing and feeling. Thank you for all you do.
My friend in NY USA says his trees are dying from the rain. The government is flying planes around adding chemicals to the atmosphere, he thinks this is for cloud seeding or global warming and it's killed most of his fruit trees and affecting his garden plants as well. He tracks the planes online and this problem only started after they started doing this over the last few years. Other trees in his forest have been affected as well but most have lived.

Hi Shawn, subscriber of all your channels here! I am planning to get into bow - life (hunting with bow isn't allowed around here), I think we are similar in upper body strength, what strength of bow should I get? I want to struggle with it the first months, strength wise - but I want bow that can last me for long time and be used for hunting if I need to.
40# is the minimum for deer and turkey hunting and is easy to draw and hold. I’ve hunted with 60# most of my life but now I shoot a 52# bow for moose and bear and #45 for deer. 30-35# is a great weight for just target practice. It’s easier to shoot and allows you to work on form under less stress and not develop any bad habits or target panic.
@@ShawnJames1 Thanks Shawn, In my back yard environment my most common target would be Roe Deer, The buck being 60 kg (130 lb), fallow deer 60-100 kg (130-220 lb), Boar 60-100 kg (130-220 lb) and rarely Red Deer 160 to 240 kg (350 to 530 lb). So you think that "CenterPoint Archery Aspen 45 Ilbs Recurve Bow" would be good choice for me? Chemical trails are real. It really is unbelievable they would do this for political ideology!
Are they spraying for West Nile Disease maybe?. I know it was being done in the areas east of Lake Ontario.
If all the fruit trees are dead then you have to buy their lab grown shit or the genetically modified fruits. So maybe thats all part of the plan..
