- In today’s video we are getting to try out a demo PAUS swing loader something I’ve never seen before with a 180 degree swing left to right. Looking forward to giving it a good try out at multiple jobs and seeing what it’s made of

That's a fierce bit of kit. I'll tell ya this, it'll save something serious on tire wear with that swing boom. Far less articulating with the steering.
Nice looking machine, that technique of filling the feeder really shows how much movement and time you can save, not to mention saving wear and tear. Already way more impressed with it than I expected to be. The rep certainly knows his stuff too.
Interesting machine. Never saw one before or heard of them. Will be eagerly awaiting progress reports. That would fit in very well. Hope it's a reliable tool. Great vids. 👍.
Odd looking thing but really like it for tight/awkward jobs. 1 trick I think the manufacturer has missed is wipers on the side windows. Looks like it made siding in the rain trickier
Whe use an Ahlmann it is the other German brand they invented the concept works out fantastic i operate the boom with my left foot pedal.

A very versatile piece of equipment!
Fantastic machine Phil, think we used the same one a while back on a trial in a yard for coop, idea to replace a forklift or 2 and give us some flexibility. Unfortunately bean counters went against, no hire term available. I'd say you'll want something a wee bit bigger to replace the Venieri though 😂

Hi Phil, nice little machine, scheaff did a similar machine in the 90's but I'm sure it wasn't telescopic but then Liebherr did a telescopic one but didn't swivel, very handy for working in restricted area, I'm not sure there was one made by Macalac too, once you've had a day or two on there the old JCB will be sat in the corner sulking

I have owned one for a number of years now the only fault I have with them is when I’m stacking bales the swivel is very hard on the joystick and also swivel has to replaced a number of times in the last three years
Did you have to replace the whole swivel system itself or just the joystick?
Good for silage bale work. 👏. Mind you bet there going to be some uprights with new dents in them. 🤪 stay safe 🏴

The other brand is Ahlmann. They are most often used by roadworkers in our country
Fancy bit of gear Phil They are a simple design enough slew ring mounted on front axle Would have lots of potential in construction industry Not sure if I would like to fully loaded as the Centre of gravity would change and could end up on its side

Booming out they are like a crane in tight spaces if you know what l mean while still been s forklift very versatile machine

Paus loader are build like 20 kilometers from where I live, despite that they are a really rare sight around here. I dont really know why, maybe its because loaders are only one of many things they build. Weidemann and Schaeffer are the most common wheel loaders used on farms in our region.

Great bit of kit there. Is there much to getting a demo model of a machine? It'll be very interesting to see how things fair off from now till the time you return it back. I'd love to hear Father Phil's thoughts on it in a video down the line

nice options. had a case2470 with crab steering got me out of some deep muddy ruts few times

Nice Loader, but i think with the swiffel you will fall to the side very easy. i think its way too risky. Alltough it looks very handy in some situations. But yeah, that are just my thoughts. It has to fit your needs. thats all that counts :)

Great video Phil however in my opinion it looks like a waste of time! Have you seen how quickly your average dairy farmer manhandles their JCB from silage pit to feeder wagon? They fly around on them at lightning speed. Fiddling around turning your boom to the side seems like it would get in the way of progress.

Uncle Ian is holding his own and the 1200 isn’t going in to the spring so we can get other machines fixed up

Why don't you just load the silage with the grab it come with?
I can’t carry meal in the tine grab so I’d have to keep changing buckets to fill the diet feeder
Question is will it push up silage in the summer, I highly doubt it will looks too light
I don’t think it was designed with the idea to shove silage😂 but it does have serious pushing power

It had a loader like that has because the dumper could swing left and right if u see what I mean it had an old david brown loader on it
