DRAWING SILAGE BALES WITH THE BIG GUNS | MF 7718s & JCB FASTRAC 4220

- In today's video we are drawing silage bales that we made to a customer and are bringing out the big guns. We have the MF 7718s loading and drawing. The MF 6499 draws the first load while the Fastrac is being fixed and then we swap over the 6499 for the fastrac. She's certainly made for the road work!

It is a fine looking machine the JCB . Good of them to come back and help out ! It was a vary good video grate fun seeing what you are up to on the farm .
That Fastrac is right machine for the long haul Phil.
Super job mowing the Bottoms, not only do you get nearly 40 bales but the calves will have better quality grass when they get in on the after grass. 💪

JCB looks like she needs some weather proofing ! Reminds me of the electric forklifts in work, if we had to go outside on a wet day we have to use a plastic shroud lovingly referred to as a forklift condom 😂

Gone are the days , when you could reach down into the tool box , grab a 12 + 14 + 16 spanners + a flat head screwdriver , and fix a lot of issues on the tractor !! 🤣🤣🤣
A good loader on that fastrac with the 4 wheel steer would be a fierce handy machine. It’s a pity jcb can’t manage the swivel cab like the xerions, they’d make a serious mowing unit….

@@montidell7227 Aye yeah huge step up mate of mine chipped his to 140 just for that bit more bite but yeah he hasn’t had any major problems since 2014

Do you have any major underground drain tiles that network through the farms that you can hook to that take the water to a major river or creek? I see so many wet spots and swampy areas with trees and willows in the videos that cause getting stuck and odd shaped fields. Also why not pasture the low wet areas? I am from the USA. Thanks and never miss a video and always look forward to your next Phil.

Another tractor on its knees for Def problems 😆that's all that crap is good for going down and needing a dealership to fix it. I know we will eventually have to get them but I'm hoping that it gets more reliable before my old ones wear out

Fast trac's are best suited to road haulage, Run a pto & a few spools; you'll rob it of 30% rated output.

you can run fusion without load sensing. just puit the pressure in a scv and return in return and dont connect the third one

Yes nearly all machines are gone this way. Not what everyone needs but the likes of modern Diesel engines and add blue technology is driven by emissions laws unfortunately

Why don’t you get rid of the 6480 which does feck all and a 6290 and replace them with a 7718 with a loader that can do the work

Why not fix your own loader tractor ? It's been broken down for far two long .
It will be fixed but not yet. Most unreliable tractor we have in the yard
