What a charming cottage. Where in Ireland is it located? Too bad I live in the U.S. and moving to Ireland isn't an option. Loved the tour. That cottage is just crying out for a new life infused by a young and energetic family. Would love to see if someone buys it and renovates it. Perhaps you could follow up.

I have a hunch you could sell snow to the Eskimos, charming lady. As a first generation American, I know that the Irish do not relinquish properties easily and what is available to Americans is way overpriced and well in need of basics from the ground up. This property is intriguing but the cynic in me believes the locals are waiting for buckets of American money to be poured into the place, ultimately abandoned by them and someone without familial ties, local, will benefit from/take over from there.

Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.

There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.

While working on our 1860 farmhouse, I learned about and used "plaster washers" to help repair plaster ceilings. They are perforated discs screwed to the lathe that hold loose plaster in place, then the missing areas can be re-filled with plaster and a skim coat over the washers.. It's been over 20 years since then, and they have held up beautifully, and saved us having to re-do the entire ceiling.

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too,

Beautiful little house with so much potential. I’m especially loving the log burning stove and the tiny stair window. Fabulous windows with shutters. Not keen on the 1950s fire surround ( it’s very similar to the fire surround in the house we rent and live in.)The garden is big enough for a small veg garden a mini orchard and extra space for the dog and chickens to run around. Wished I had the money to bring it back to its former glory. 🌿

Those stoves can also be converted either to gas or oil fairly easily if you don't want to risk cooking on wood/coal. Have used one in the past which was converted to oil and it was the best stove I have every used. My great aunt had a similar one from new - just post war - which was gas from the beginning, while another friend has one without the water tank on the end which is still turf fired and is great for cooking and heat during the winter.

Give it enough money and hard work that could be a nice little home, It has issue# sure but nothing that hard work wouldn’t put right, Personally I’d get rid of those sheds and that cooker (I know philistine) but you have to be practical, I’d definitely keep the fireplaces and renovate and fix those great windows, The floors look a bit problematic but I’m sure they can be rescued and polished up a treat, Those stair bannisters need some TLC and they’ll be great it’s a bit of wax, That weird rainwater collecting contraption would definitely have to go it’s very Heath Robinson and looks out of place, otherwise it’s a great little project for someone.

Ordinarily, from My experience, unoccupied house in Ireland do have a propensity to deteriorate quite quickly.

I just came across this video today and wow, I have it all designed in my head already! All to many people would change out the old fixtures like tub, stove/oven, fireplace surrounds, but that is the best part, only elbow grease. My family bought a 1930's car garage, a rectangular building, one of two on a seaside property, these two garages housed the wealthy summer people's cars as there was no bridge from one island to another (in Maine/USA). The first building was torn down years prior, the day we were departing our holiday a for sale sign went up, we inquired and put in an offer and got it. Now, 44 yrs later, I have it and it is such a joy to me. Just love the flea in the market. Thank you for the nice video!

One infant school I went to in the 60s was a Victorian school & there was a caretakers cottage a little like this.

We are retired. A 1 bedroom 1 bath, galley kitchen bungalow would be a baseline for us. Small plot of land as we don’t have animals and MIGHT get 3-4 or so laying hens, no more. NO MAJOR RENOVATION. Not particularly concerned about location or views. Prefer out of the city. Is there a contact email, Facebook or other contact point for you.

Great video, what a beautiful little cottage . So much potential in it. The bedroom fireplaces are gorgeous. The walled in garden is so cute too I would reinstate that outside loo. I have fallen on love with the place. Those views are just spectacular

I think there has been a sink under that kitchen window before, there seem to be water pipes to it.

I thought that too, probably originally a Belfast or similar. More recently, maybe the sink (from the other room), looked about the right size
