This retro beachhead is the one to get. He looks like the filmAtion beachhead. These retro figures are great looking figures. I love everything about this beachhead. Great figure. Good video sir.
great review, thanks for doing these! for me... I hate the gun he comes with, but that is easy to replace, but besides that, figure looks great and definitely hits the nostalgic "feels"
It's definitely a must for congruency with the rest of the Retro carded aesthetic but I can understand your reluctance because sometimes the old style looks dated. I gotta tell you that seeing Retrocarded Stalker with that weird beret color doesn't really appeal to me but it might end up in my collection anyway.
I wish I had known that this figure was coming, so that I could have skipped the first version. He's not bad, but this is the Beach-head I wanted from the start.
I just got Airbourne today, and he is awesome, except for his night vision goggles which won't clip into his helmet properly (which is fine, because I wasn't going to use them anyway), and his backpack pegging in way too high on his back (which is universal to all classified figures, so can't be fixed). A lot of fans prefer Spirit, but I like Airbourne because he's not a cliche. He's just a soldier who happens to be Native American.
I think the reason your seeing that height difference is just the shoulders for some reason they went with the drop shoulders with the first couple waves so they look off
Your comedic gold moment for me in this review was when the figs kept falling down (and even you accidentally knocked them over at times 😂) and you told them to stand at attention when being addressed. It had me laughing. 🤣
I think I'm getting out of collecting the Classified line. Popular figures are becoming impossible to get for retail and the quality has gone down hill since they first introduced the line.
Beachhead was definitely up there for me and I was so happy to see him in real life that I bought him for scalper prices (even though I preordered 2 on Amazon lol)

Same I started late and didn't know if this line was going to succeed so I took any representation of my favorites just in case.

@@drewlovelyhell4892 the cartoon endeared me to Spirit but had I not watched the cartoon I would lean more towards Airborne too.

The drop shoulders definitely make them seem shorter for sure.
you can swap the gun with the one that came with firefly and they both will have the right color from the original.
I'm going to get a FAL for Beachhead. It won't be the FN FAL but it will be a FAL.

I must warn you that it almost seems like the hands get worse each time at least for me. It becomes hard for them to carry third party weapons.
