I picked up this guy, too. I'm a sucker for some Juggernaut/Heavy Gunner style troops!
This sucker has such a great build in general my only gripe is the juggernaut mask piece is too loose fitting. I need it to be more snug.

I recommend wrapping the series 5 wrist pegs with a few layers of teflon tape. The same strat can be used around neck pegs when customizing with Marvel Legends heads.

This may not be ideal for your liking, but I would cut off the back straps and glue elastic cord in their place. It’ll slide right over and adjust to a variety of figure sizes.

@@bloodyscreen36 I just tried right now and it's a super tight fit (not worth the effort of over stretching the helmet).
This thing is too many different rifles in one. I would have gone with the regular M16/M203.. it was a regular Marine weapon until a few years ago. This just looks weird having that odd scope on top of the handle, and a weird stock. I guess it'll work as it's not supposed to be 100% real life.
That is why it makes sense for G.I.JOE. I would definitely arm my Action Force with more realistic weapons.

I went with show z. I preordered before Fans Hobby was forced to make changes. My grand total to include shipping was 110. I believe they are selling for 120. I'm not sure what they will charge for shipping. I do know I wasn't going to go with Fans Hobby shopping page because that shipping is out of control. Lol
For the $$ this is not a critical vehicle where I can't reasonably wait for the official version. It will have that Hasbro touch, as you said it will come with a pilot and it won't feel like a 3P piece.
And just as important is the space. This sucker takes up alot of real-estate.
