Headfirst Alta 100 - Not Just for Rock!

- The Headfirst Alta 100 is the best new hot-rodded Marshall-inspired amp out there. The flexibility, options, and sound of this amp are incredible. While I could have made a rock demo track there's already several out there, so I decided to do something different and demonstrate how the Alta sounds in a guitar-oriented pop track to show how dynamic and flexible this amp can really be.
All guitar parts were recorded with my my Tom Anderson Drop Top with an H3 in the bridge and H1 in the neck straight into the Headfirst Alta 100. (No pedals, boosts, etc.) The Alta then goes into my UA OX Box where I used V30 and Greenback speakers mic'd with various blends of SM57's, Royer 121's, and Sennheiser 421's. All other effects are from post-production in the UA Luna DAW. The bass was done with the Axe-FX Mesa Strategy models into my UA Apollo Twin X Quad.

Sounds good ... what's these running for $$ ? And is it hw or pcb ?
They're $3799 new. They are high quality PCB amps. Nothing wrong with a quality PCB amp. In fact, better than hand wired in many ways: most notably, zero inconsistencies. Each amp sounds exactly the same.
