Hi Iain! At this time, the only Broad Arrow was the inspector’s acceptance mark which are usually stamped, in black ink, inside the top of the sleeve. We have just checked William’s tunic, and at the top of the right sleeve it has WD either side of the arrow, with the letter ‘D’ beneath.
