You have one of the great mixers of that brand. The reason I say that is because presently, most of the metal parts within the mixers body have been replaced with plastics, and a lesser quality motor. It has affected the quality and durability in f the present day mixers so much, that kitchen aid even tells you in the manual with the machines to never knead bread dough or mix heavy batters longer than two minutes. And since a lot of people got them either to mix heavy cookie doughs or knead bread it has caused issues. A friend of mine has had the motors burn out on three or four of them in a row all within 3 months after getting them. One would burn out. She would return to kitchen aid who would send her a new one under warranty. This happened several times until she finally demanded her money back. At first kitchen aid refused. Because the actual warranty is to get a new mixer. She has a you tube channel with 100 thousand subscribers. And partner you tube channels that do cook along and collaborations with her. So huge online presence with Facebook groups. So she made a video about her experience and posted it. And sent a link to kitchen aid. In about a month she got her money back. No letter or anything. Just a check. This is not the kitchen aid company we all remember.
Just found your channel. Really am in alignment with your ideals of wanting to spend your time living healthy and abundantly so you can be the person God wanted you to be. And be of service to Him. I have not lived my life in a healthy way at all. I was plant based for about five years with the occasional slip up. But when I retired in 2020 and returned home to Texas to be near family I first let one thing slip, then another, and after about 6 months being home, family dinners and comments. Plus an old addiction ( know that sounds weird) to bbq and smoked meats, I was back on the standard American diet. Weight has ballooned up to around 200 lbs on my five foot one frame. I was an avid walker and long distance hiker. And because of the weather extremes where I moved to, and lack of much when it comes to hiking trails more than a stroll I. The park, I became lazy. So, now after some prayer and tears, I am walking twice a day, up and down a very steep hill nearby. Going early in the morning and evening after it cools down a bit. Gradually using up the food I have and replacing everything up with healthier choices and plant based no. Processed proteins. On my very tight budget I simply cannot waste food. So I figure I have about another month till the white pasta, rice, and any remaining animal products are gone. Thankfully I never really got into the habit of baking so not a lot of stash there to worry about. I have stopped buying grazing foods other than some sliced veggies and salsa I like to keep on hand. But the main thing I stocked up on are all the knorr sides. I will end up taking those to food bank. I am still drinking a lot of coffee. My doctor has me on some protein drinks once a day (. I have a malabsorption disorder and don’t absorb proteins of any type well. , plant or animal ). So I found a good Whole Foods plant based protein powder , vanilla flavor which I sweeten with a few drops of stevia. It’s a little grainy. But if I blend it in my mini blender the grit disappears and it goes well in my coffee and tea. I have replaced my hot teas with good herbal teas. And plan once my current tea is gone trying some of the brewable herbal coffee replacements out there. I still have lots to do to get back where I was. But I am already starting to notice a difference and notice my clothes starting to loosen up a bit. ❤
This looks like a wonderful recipe. We’ll be trying it this week as we also enjoy all the fall flavors as you mentioned. I love your channel. Thank you. Linda
