I was seriously thinking, "OMG, I can't do all that! I'm going to the dealer". With this video you are right, a $15 bulb from Pep Boys and a bit of fiddling in that small space, and I'm back in business. So many , many thanks!
Using the manual and your video, I successfully replaced the Daytime Running light on my 335xi. It took less than 10 minutes. Cost of the bulb was $14.99. Than you for posting a most helpful video.

Thank you for this video! This was $17 and 10 minute fix for my 2008 335 xi -- same exact process. Those numerous other forums/videos that require access from underneath the wheel well are for upgrading to LED lights, which are brighter and whiter. If you just want to change a burnt out bulb, this is all it takes.
Daniel DeFrance Access from the top or from the wheel well depends on the year/model/trim. Make sure you chose to follow a video that's done on the exact same year/model as yours. BMW tends to keep changing those things...
Thanks for the video. I changed out the H8 bulb on the driver's side (opposite to the side that this video shows) of my 2009 BMW 335i coupe. Please note: On the driver side, the bulb must be turned clockwise to take it off (clockwise if you are looking at it from the front of the car).
Thanks for they tip. I just did my driver's side in 5 minutes. It's a little finicky going back in but try to align the three tabs / prongs on the bulb until it sits nicely in its housing then turn. Great video - thank you.
Another shout out and thanks for this video. I just did the same operation and changed a burned DRL bulb in my E93 in less than 15mn. Note that for me, inserting the new bulb into the housing (without touching the bulb) was more challenging than taking the old one out. Also, locking it into place was also somewhat tricky, as evething is super confined and access is limited, with my big hands :-) So, thanks again, and I'm so glad I didn't follow that other video from 'carquestions' which describes a process that's COMPLETELY different and a LOT more difficult - even the bulb didn't look right. So make sure your year/model match the video you're following before venturing into replacing a DRL lamp by yourself!! BMW seems to change their design quite often...
Fernando, your link is for FOG lights for F18, while this video is about DRL lights for E9x. Completely different!! You must be confused :-). Plus I don't see how alibaba can help you find out what is the appropriate installation process based on your year/model...
Instructions worked on 07 E90 passenger side. I did have more trouble putting it back in versus taking it out of the housing. But for an 07 it is clockwise to remove and counterclockwise to lock back into place.

Great vid! Do you still have this car? This may be a dumb question - but I played with the settings inside the dash/cluster (no iDrive), and I turned off the daytime running lights. I switched the setting back on, but they (Angel Eyes) won't turn on (when light is at the 12 O'Clock Position on the 0). They only turn on when I turn on the parking lights (when I flip the light switch to the 1 O'Clock Position). I hope you can help - I know this video was from years ago! Thanks in advance!
Yo so i took off the fender liner in the wheel well snd couldnt fint the buld till i watch this wish i watched it like 2 hours ago before doin all that for no reason smh
I'm pretty sure there are 2 bulbs because I just got a 08 M3 Convertible and most of my halos are out. Driver's side has one on, and the passenger's side has none on. I've seen another video which shows another bulb (non H8) which is installed by accessing from the wheel well. I'd love to know if this is because of 2 different models of housing or not...
