- In this video I show you how I installed Lux H8 189 Angel Eyes. I had the H8 180 line for several years and loved them, but wanted to see if there were any noticeable differences between the 180 vs 189. In person they look about the same, but the 189 have a little less flickering when the car is dimming the bulb. The only other noticeable difference is in camera the 189s appear to flicker based on the shutter speed. If you have the stock bulbs, they are definitely worth the upgrade!

@@ShiftedPerspective Is the sale for the 180 or 189? When selecting the link it takes you to the product and shows the 189 but when selecting it and going to the next screen where you can add it to cart and shows product description it states its for the 180. Just want to make sure before making a purchase. 20% would be so much better than 10%.

Just put them on and they look great! Install was almost too easy, took less than 10 min for both. Btw, looks better in person.
I got the lux h8 189 halos and the glass shield is cracked. Will this affect the led in anyway?
Not sure if noticed , but your 189 are flickering more than the 180s. Does anyone else see this or it is just me? Is it possible the new set are defective. Please let us know.
It’s just in the camera. In person there is no flickering

I noticed it too and and the second side you can tell it doesn't flicker as bad as the right how do one side change if its the camera?

Although you have to take the wheel off seems like it’s much easier and less frustrating to remove the bulbs from the wheel well. Another good video; I couldn’t tell a difference 🤣
I went with the LUX H8 V6 adjustables LEDs and my only wish would be that they have a separate switch to dim the bulbs a bit more, as I installed them on my X5 and they almost make the car look like it has 2 pairs of headlgihts even with the angel eyes coded to the lowest setting.
Other than these bulbs are the truth...!

how are the leds now? are still working fine?
I always wanted these but never could justify the price. Every other bulb in my car is led.
The adjustable light color is what justified for me..
Hello I have a set of LUX 180's. Excellent lighting, however the one on the driver's side keeps intermittent faulting out. It's working fine but It flickers for about less then half a second causing the daytime running lamp error then it goes away. It's really annoying. I've had them for about 4 years already. 2008 535i.. Would Lux offer a warranty on this by chance. Thank you.. Excellent content 👌
had the same problem, does it has something to do with water splashing on the cable contacts because its not covered as stock?
I hate that the outside halo is dimmer than the inner one.. frustrating to me. But bro.. what # style wheels are those?

I’m getting an adaptive headlight warning light immediately after installing these. Do these cause that? Or is the ballast somehow interfering with the adaptive headlight functionality
No dash error lights of any kind. The adaptive features work just the same too
Is the top outer ring supposed to be broken? I’ve had my e90 for 2 months and I SWEAR both rings were fully round. Inside ring obviously brighter. But last night I noticed the top outer ring is broken and I swear it wasn’t before. So I’ve been looking into it a little today and it’s half and half. Some are and some aren’t. I’m totally at a loss and have no clue why some would be and some wouldn’t be on the pre lci models. Anyone care to help out?
