    On rocks or rough trails, it is always a good time to be surrounded by people that appreciate the same things you do. And, being away from the T.V. is always a great choice. Cheers, health and safe travels.

      I can’t remember the exact location but we started about 20mins north east of Willis. It was a mix of dirt roads connected by paved roads. Look up Cheeseburger Loop. It’s a well mapped out loop except on the west side of I45.

    cool video. is there only one entrance to the trails? I've never been and want to head up that way.

    • @RobZee
      @RobZee  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are unpaved farms roads not really trails. Yeah the route we took consisted of paved road and unpaved roads. For example the unpaved road would connect two paved roads. I had fun out there if you decided to go let me know I would like to do it again. I could also invite a few people that would like to go.

    Do you think a non 4x4 only fwd vehicle would make it?

    • @RobZee
      @RobZee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most of the roads I was using 2wd. Depending on how muddy it is out there 4x4 is recommended. There was a point that people with 2wd only had to turn around due to mud.

      @@RobZee what where they driving a mini van? We drive roads like that every day even with soccer mom cars and vans when I was growing up. Didn't see anything in the video that a normal vehical couldn't gone through unless some one didn't want to get a little mud on there paint. Hell you even had street tires on your truck. Though it's pretty country up there to drive through. Been meaning to take a trip myself just for the nice drive.

      I called Sam Houston National Forest today I try to find out where are this is actually going on at the guy that I spoke to is off at 1375 out of New Waverly at the main Forestry Department he explained to me that he also has a Jeep and wished he could do the same thing but it is highly illegal once they leave the dirt road so apparently the dirt roads that you guys are driving on once you get off of that and go on to the little small grassy to dirt when I called a little double Tire Road that's when it becomes illegal so please correct me if I'm wrong where you guys are in turn the trailhead and do you have to have a sticker or what's the deal please give some more info
