This is so wonderfull! Mejoueva did such a great job here, it's propably my most favourite interpretation, thogh think that she softened some peaks and climaxes too much - for example in Romanza I am used to a stromy monumental coda, like Hamelin has, but this also isn't bad, it just a little ignores Medtner's dynamics marks. But overally she really, really great - like that primavera left me speechless!
Primavera is such a masterwork
Medtner's music never fails to astound me. That middle section of "Primavera" ... just wow, such unearthly beauty
0:34 this harmony is so Medtner!
Mejoueva’s Primavera is hands down the best rendition of this piece, and probably the only performance on YT that doesn’t sound rushed.
Love how Sonata tragica got the same passege as Canzona Matinata
Could you tell me were happen, I'm not really familiares with these both pieces

Medtner definitely needs more recognition. These are absolutely stunning pieces!
A little known masterpiece that someday will be standard repertoire.

I love the Chopin quotes in Romanza.

Meditazione sounds like Scriabin. Possibly influenced Medtner in this particular piece
Points in the direction to Messaien with those octotonic scales
Actually similar harmonies used Medtner way before Scriabin in his op. 2 in 1896! Scriabin inspired Medtner, but Medtner inspired Scriabin way before!
That theme at the beginning minute of primavera sounds like Jurassic Park
Nice
