Quite an achievement, done without fuss and bragging - video was just the right length as you showed and said all that was needed. Thanks for sharing! 🙂👍🏻
I did this but was 35 miles short and stopped in carlisle from newcastle because I was so fucked. The climb out of Allenheads is absolutely brutal! Well done on achieving this!
Hey well ✔done, that wind sounded brutal! It's a beautiful ride which I have done many times since 1995 but only ever west to east. You certainly weren't doing yourself any favours with the prevailing wind.
Hi Ryan, if you follow the C2C signs, I wouldn't recommend 25mm tyres. There is quite a few gravel sections in county durham and there is a steep climb in whinlatter that is very loose indeed. I didn't stick religiously to the route as a consequence. I would recommend you having 28mm tyres minimum (tyres that come with a cross bike or hybrid) otherwise it might be a bit too gnarly. Hope this helps.

Means a lot! Thanks for the kind words

@@JamesJeffrey1995 thanks so much! Newcastle to Carlisle is a proper good stint in the saddle in its own right!

Well done, good ride well filmed and you never bitched once about being wet or tired 👍
Amazing effort. Well done mate.
Well done 👏🏻
Lovely video, I think you didn't take the easy option of west to east, and doing it in a day, hat off to you.
Yes the prevailing wind was definitely west to east on the day... Thanks very much!
This route you done alright on 25c tyres or would you say you needed gravel tyres. Can’t see what you have sorry
