VLOG - COAST 2 COAST IN ONE DAY!!!!

Welcome back to another vlog for my longest ever bike ride!!!!
With my team Spectra Wiggle p/b Vitus we drove up to the small town on the west coast of Seascale to cycle from the west coast of England to the east in just one day. The route takes in iconic Lake District climbs, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors before reaching our destination of Whitby for some well earned fish and chips. It was a fantastic route and one I 100% recommend.

I did the coast to coast solo for charity when i was 40, (64 now) from Whitehaven to Redcar, it took me 6 hours 38 minutes for 125 miles with 3 sandwich stops. Because it was for charity, i had to finish and therefore took it easy really. I have done 25 miles in racing in 54 min 56 sec and 100 miles in less than 4 hours and won open time trial events, one of which was the ccs 10 in 22m 22 sec.

Top effort Beth! brings back memories especially HardKnott Pass.It was 6 years ago when i did it the sense of achievement when we got to Whitby was Amazing! your a moving time and average speed well impressive.It took us 12 hours lol

@@BethCrumptonLHero I don’t think I would want to do it again. Hardknott was brutal. The only good thing about getting up Hardknott was is that gives you the mental strength and confidence to tackle any climb !
