One of my favorite Sor etudes to play. Great advice on breaking the piece into melody and chords to start, and focusing on phrasing. I initially learned this piece by plowing straight through which was a disaster.
a great lesson on balance within the piece. i was always strict to playing the piece as written, as the composer wrote it. so i guess i was wrong. your way sounds better by far.
At the end...what happened? You played the song as if it didnt matter or something...rushed and devoid of dynamics and feeling. That's a good example of how not to play this song.

Amazing insight for me! this is the way to learn guitar I was missing all this years of practice in vain
Thanks for the vid...I will relearn this piece and bring out the melody.
I think its important to play the melody apoyando ( with rest strokes) it comes out really strong

You have to relax your fretting hand when learning this one I found out. This is a great piece for both hands.
So good 😃🙏
Ah, your videos seem so nice. I wish I could afford them... Maybe someday.
in my opinion i think its a bit too fast but its probably just me.

This approach reminds me a lot of the Segovia version. Which I disagree with - the arpeggios shouldn't be split into melody and accompaniment.
Nul! Beaucoup de blabla et très peu de démonstration sur l instrument.
