When I used to attend San Francisco Consveratory of Music during 1982, I had an great privilege of having Mr. Sakellariou as my guitar professor and a wonderful friend. He didn’t live that far when I was living with my brother and when I had classes with him, he used to come pick me up in the mornings and drive me back in the afternoon. I later used to have private lessons at his house. He is such an sweet, very kindhearted person I’ve ever met. He also is an extremely very talented guitarist as you see on the videos on his Instagram page
Brilliant playing.Notice how straight he keeps his left wrist. The thumb is sometimes visible because it’s correctly supporting the fingering of bass notes. If you slavishly keep the thumb in the middle you’ll have to bend the left wrist more and you’re on the way to Carpal Tunnel and other wrist injury. What a great player this man is.I could listen to him all day.
Op.35, #18...different from then original with four bars played with harmonics in the melody Op.60, #22...varies from original with the melody shifted to the bass for eight bars Op.60, #23...repeats introduced None of the above does any harm to the originals - nice playing throughout!

Did you know kishor gurung from nepal?
navin kumar No I don’t
Mr. S produces such a beautiful tone. A true delight.
I could work several more lifetimes and still not get anywhere near his beautiful, warm, round, powerful, and balanced tone...
It's easy to play these studies like technique exercises. I'm glad to see a player who's willing to be a little musical with their performance.
Agreed - these sound great. Tariq Habaz also does very nice performances of the 20 Segovia Sor etudes
They are etudes after all
I wonder how many performers can put such amazing shades of emotion and colorfullness into such routine pieces.
I have been working on study in B minor . I will renew my practice with enthusiasm inspired by this masterful performance.
Fantastic musicality and sound ! Well done Maestro and GSI !
Sao 3 estudos de dificuldade mediana, mas foram bem interpretados e o violao bem tocado e sempre benvindo. Parabens ao violonista.
Fantastic !!! Hope, I could reach this level one day !!
that sound is truly music

Now i have to go buuy a classical guitar

Excelente interpretation, Bravo.
I love them all but Sor is my favorite. George is sooooo good.

Amazing
Dear guitarist. Quite perfect.
It calms down.
Vilken duktig farbror!😊
The theme of the first piece resembles chorale "Aus der Tiefe rufe ich" from apocryphal Lukas-Passion BWV 246.
Really nice playing. Could you tell me which 3 studies these are or add the info in the description? Thanks.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sounds like music.
Like quality music :).
please someone teach me these pieces
Segovia fingers, lol.
Master guitarist
The last one is easy only for those who do not play it.
