Hello, I use a large box for 2 ten inch, I also pad in between them with bubble wrap, one time I ship 4 cakes and I use a tall regular shipping box and use the priority to and from sticker

Hello I was shopping cakes our during Covid with postal and had no problems. I went to ship one out at the beginning of the year and they would not let me. They said it had to be in a foam box and put that box in a box. I was like I shipped for a yr and a half with you n had no problem. Could it be because I put the igloo ice packs in there?

Yes. Ice packs are prone to spillage and damaging other shipments. If it's rum cake, you don't need ice packs. The alcohol alone is a preservative.
