I too had to re clutch for sea level. My dealer did not do it for me. In fact they made me sign off on it saying I would do it before riding because “the motor can blow”. I put on the STP magnum force weights. Dalton makes adjustable weights too. Now with a quick spring change and removal of a few grams it can go to 8k feet.

Did you tell your viewers that those 6 bolts bolts on the primary require 100 inch Lbs and it is critical for balance and important to prolong the life of the clutch ?

Any problems ever with bolts vibrating loose? I use lock washer for that reason

My pro Rmk is clutched fro high elevation, it is a boost, and when you throttle at low elevation it bogs hard, is this related?

What's your favorite weights for polaris?

Factory weights - and set up according to their owners manual. if I were racing id use a tunable weight.

Does your clutch vibrate a good amount at idle? I have a switch back that is buttery smooth at idle that’s an 800 but I have an 850 rmk and the clutch has quite a bit of vibration at idle but goes away the moment you give a little throttle

I had to tow my axys the other day so took my belt off and the secondary made some weird noises while rolling. Is it because its a floating clutch or do i have a problem? Wasnt making any noises while riding but then my throttlecable snapped so :)

So...dumb question, but...there doesn't seem to be enough space to get a 3/8" wrench around the nut on the other side of the allen wrench. Any hints for me there?

Grind each side of the open end until it fits. Got one at camp and in the box O clutch parts. Works mint
