How to make Carrot oil for skin lightening

- Easy DIY carrot oil for skin lightening at home. You can use the heating or cold-pressed method. The heating method is faster but may destroy the nutrients whereas the cold-pressed preserves the nutrients but takes time to infuse.

For CLARIFICATION:
1: You can add preservatives since some water in the carrot oil can cause contamination.
2: You must not leave for 2 weeks, once it turns orange, it means the contents of the carrots have been infused into the oil.
3: Please ensure the carrots are TOTALLY immersed in the oil to prevent contamination.
4: Ensure you follow proper hygiene: wash the carrots, pat dry, use sterilised jar (very clean), don't touch with your hands while infusing.
All these prevent it from contamination and from smelling.

I use the whole carrot after washing and scrubbing the outside, leave the skin on, it’s more potent. Also almond or grape seed oil is lighter to infuse and allow the essence of the carrots to come through.

It's best to use dried ingredients, so dried organic carrot's that already have preserves in them ,they come packaged from your local grocery store if not online ,let dried carrot's sit in oil for 3weeks then strain

Sure you can use any type of oil, but you need to keep the Shea butter melted during the whole process

Cold pressed is a healthy way to extract oils, all the nutrients in the oil are preserved, but when heat is introduced, some of the beneficial nutrients are destroyed.

Yes you can use any clean container for it, I added about 4 vitamin E oil but that will depend on the size of yours

Yes you can. I only added the vitamin to enhance it. The carrot oil can do.

You must not put in the fridge while infusing. Just make sure the oil totally covers the carrots

Between the heat method and this raw one, which is better and effective
It all depends on you
Cold pressed takes a little longer for the oil to be infused while the heat method is faster. The cold pressed ensures all the beneficial nutrients are preserved But when the oil is over heated or is done using direct heat, some of the nutrients may be lost in the process.
Can I keep this in sun daily for 2 weeks and then use it?
It'll remove the moisture in it...
It is better you just heat it up than opening it up because germs in the air may contaminate it

You can keep it in the fridge
You can put a few drops of: lavender essential oil, or tea tree or rosemary essential oil. They are all natural antiseptics. Hope this helps.
