      the problem is they are explaining the stuff that is american and out of date from 30 years ago. yes your right but you could have given some constructive feed back instead of just ragging on them such as pointing out their data is faulty and ingredients have gotten better not perfect but better than they were 30 years ago.

      @@rickystardusterthats not necessarily true. Yes ingredients are “better” in a sense. But the amount of ultra processed foods have grown significantly over the course of 30 years. Frozen dinners, fast food restaurants, UP snacks have all significantly increased since the 80’s.

    Crickets are ultra processed. It’s probably best to set them aside and choose beef instead

    Most breakfast cereals should be considered ultra processed too.
    Picking a berry or "scratch cook"? There are so many ways to eat whole unprocessed foods. Just buy it, and cook it. So simple.

      keep in mind its an american study so it is biased against this or that from 30 years ago. just keep in mind some things have improved not all but some.

    Why is Canada's food ingredients so much different than the EU for the same foods? Farming as well.

    • @rickystarduster
      @rickystarduster 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      this is an american study she is quoting and the difference is because we have different laws in canada than they have in the usa or the eu. so our skittles candy is different due to laws that don't allow certain dyes in the eu. our bread here has more sugar than the eu couinterparts as does usa bread. but certain additives have been no longer allowed in canada but are allowed in the usa still while other stuff is now removed from the usa in the last 30 years

    considering the stuff they allowed in the states 30 years ago and how things are changing i am sure this study is out of date and showing that this would be most likely due to the poor choice of ingredients from the 80's and 90's which has changed since then.

      Large carrots are gmo, which should also be considered ultra processed at the molecular level. Carrots are naturally smaller, just like corn, tomatoes, water melon and pretty much every other produce
