Great video Rohan, you got rid of a few Mud Marlin mate, great work 👍🏼. I love the little Ice 🧊 Rod lol …. You done well with only a little bit of gear….
Use the lightest sinker you can get away with, and I'd use a fairly small hook around size 2 or 4, depending which brand. In this video I'm using Mustad size 2 beak hooks
NO BELLS !!!!!!!! WOOOHOO! More carp training needed, they clearly don't respond to dog commands. Great session and really good average size. You're doing a lot better than me Rohan, just got back from my 3rd consecutive blank 🙄
Rohan if this is a sign of things to come, your gone have a great season. I have a friend not far from Cobram he never throws his carp away , instead he buries them next to his fruit trees, apparently they make good fertiliser.
I caught 20 carp today quick little tip put a floater on one of your rods with a scrub worm and have sit near the bank and thats how i got a mojority of mine
Hey rjk how do you get below that spot I went to see the weir it was spilling but didn't know how to get down there with a pram aswell haha also well done bro
Hi mate, to get down there you need to be on the correct side of the river, and you access it via weir road. The land above the weir is private property but that part below is open to the public.
@@RKJFishing Thank you for that so your able to walk down there near where the cows were at the end off weir road coz that's where I was last time but wasn't to sure about it so ended up turning back around thanks bro
Yes you can walk straight down the hill, there are no closed gates to get down there. If you see a closed gate, that part is private property. You can't drive down the hill at the moment, there are big logs across the road.
Nothing like a good carp slaught.
haha cheers mate
Mate you’re producing bangers after bangers currently! What a sick session bro. Nothing beats a good ol swamp donkey fight ay
Thanks heaps mate, you've got that right! I love it
Love it. So awesome. What a great way to enjoy fishing. Carp are underrated as a sport fish here in Aus. This was awesome RKJ. 👌
Cheers Robbie! I don't think I'll ever get tired of carp fishing.

Great video Rohan. It’s getting busy down at the weir now but that’s a good thing. The more people fishing the better for us all.

i can agree what you call fun

Love carp fishing aswell mate. Caught a linear mirror carp the other day. Did you catch any 55cms? Lol
I'm so jealous! I've never caught a mirror carp haha. It's on my todo list. I reckon a couple of them would have been 55 haha
What size spinner bait do you use for yellas
I'm not really sure what the size is to be honest mate, but I avoid using huge ones with soft plastics on the end while cod season is closed
@@RKJFishing ok thanks mate another great video👌
I'm going there tomorrow got any recommendations for lures?
Bright coloured spinnerbaits or chatterbaits seem to be working best
