Damn Acai, I didn't think anybody used Horizon anymore, let alone in 2020.
That first note at the very beginning is a visual bug that occurs the first time you play a song where the notes start too soon for the game to handle (needs to be at least 2.6s in, iirc). The note is actually at its correct location -- notice your rock meter decreased despite the fact that you hit the 'first' note -- you just can't see it there. I think if you restart song it'll probably appear in the correct place.

I have a problem, can somebody help me ? Everything went right until i started to play the songs that i added in the game, the songs are stutering all the time, I've tried a couple of things to solve this problem but nothing seems to change, the songs keep stutering.
Was able to do this thing and get it working on a real Wii using C3 con tools and etc, but a majority of the songs I convert keep stuttering during gameplay, is there a fix for this?

What calibration would be best for dolphin? I know its still partially dependent on our monitors and whatnot but I'd still like to know what's optimal.
If I did this for a few custom songs, but then later wanted to add more, do I have to add the previous songs back into onyx? Just wondering as it creates those .app files but they always have the same name so the new songs will just replace the old ones
Acai Your the man. that being said I as still abit slow. seems like you haze over some of the things necessary for a complete novice at this until this week, to get the customs up and running, How do you determine in the Doc wii folder what song 000001 and 732329 go to which song and is it just the 2 app files u put in the other dir you named rock band 3. and the texture and other items you haze right by and I haven't a clue. Help brother an old man Reidit

Quick question, if say down the line i wanna add more songs with customs already in the game, do I need to re add the con file of the song i have in the game in the onyx program to make sure it stays in the game once i add new con files?
I assume you'd just have to keep a folder full of the con files and do a full batch of all the old songs as well as the new ones you want each time :/
Hey Alec do you know how to get pro drums to work? When you go to drums in extension it only gives you a map for standard drums. It lets you choose pro drums in the game but it doesn’t work.
You can go into instrument options in settings and enable the cymbals but in game they both register as just yellow pad, works but you can hit cymbals with the pad and vice versa which is a bit naff

It's in Quick Convert and where it says Transform in place, change it to Dolphin Wii pack

Hey Acai i’m trying to add more songs but it’s not letting me and it only shows Chiasm which is the first song I downloaded. I tried it converting multiple songs the same time but it only appears as one app file. And even if I had multiple app files they’re all named the same so they wanna replace each other when I try to drag it into the folder.
That's the point, if you want more songs you need to convert them down into one app file. Multiple app files won't work

This isn't related to customs but I don't know where else to ask. I'm having problems with my wii guitar using the raphnet adapter. When I'm in-game, pressing one fret will also press another for some reason. If anyone knows how to fix this I would appreciate it!!

Literally anything that pops up in that drop-down menu will work
does this work on RB3 deluxe edition for homebrew wii?
So when I tried this, I used a song to test this out, but now I can't more, only the song I tried it out with is recognized. Can't add more, can't delete the old song, it's permanently only showing the test song.

So HD texture pack you are using is for the older version of dolphin I recommend using ishiiruka dolphin emulator
Also all newer dolphin emulator use different style of texture packs so.older texture packs won't work
When will you post on how to put songs into Clone Hero. And how do you plug RB guitars into PC's
if it is xbox360, use a normal breakaway cable. they are a good $5 on amazon for some cheap ones

Hello alec, i have a problem. I add a song to test but wenn i want to replace it, he reconize only the 1st song a ad even if i replace and if i renamed it, it will show up but it will not play. It say that the song "exemple" can not be copied to the wii memory
Not gonna lie adding songs to dolphin is pretty horrible and inconsistent. If you're gonna add songs via any emulator I would recommend RPCS3 over this.

When I tried to convert a clone hero song into CON files it shows an error saying "vocal note in [8.3.000] is out of phrase" do anyone know how to solve this?

Anyone else having trouble adding multiple songs? I can only get Reptile by Periphery working but any other songs I put in don't load. They have all the prerequisite files too, but It's just not happening
I've been having the same problem. I originally added in 1 song and then I removed all the files and tried to do multiple at once. The original song that wasn't included in the group of files is still the only one that shows up even though it isn't included in the new app files I made
Laprah so I did something that someone said on Twitter, and it actually worked. If you go into your Documents, go to Dolphin Emulator, Wii, title, 00010000, 536a4245, data, then DELETE the file called MSTORE.vff. Once you do that, your customs should work. I went from 84 songs to 96 after deleting it

Having the same issue, but I'm probably fucking up somewhere. I got the HD textures working, the gecko codes, the app files, just the songs (single song , actually, just to test) aren't showing up in game.
Put a blank text file named "portable.txt" in the folder with Dolphin.exe. You will have to copy the DLC Files, Textures, and .app files again, but to the user/wii folder

Have you tried out any of the FasterMelee Dolphin builds? IIRC is has options that enable higher fps caps for lower controller latency and a few integrations that may benefit this. I'm not exactly sure how stable it would be or how much of the changes that build could affect games outside of melee but it may be worth checking out.
