I went to a tourist attraction in NHA TRANG and so did a thousand other people | Vietnam 🇻🇳

  • Hey Guys,
    So obviously the title of this video is a bit sarcastic, I always expect other tourists when I go to a tourist attraction. I almost didn't film today as I wasn't sure what the quality of the video would be & I thought it would be fun to just go without filming, however, I think its also good to show these places exactly as they are when visiting.
    So this is Po Nagar temple in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
    I really enjoyed this temple, it's ancient and stunning & the fact that there were other people there does not really take away from how much I enjoyed looking through the structures.

    If you're still in Nha Trang, go to Vin Pearl Theme Park.
    Make sure to ask for just cable rides for about 100,000 Dongs /:$4 across the ocean to the other side, walk outside the theme park, around the shore lines with beautiful view, strip malls like European styles, and nice indoor food courts. You do not need to enter the Theme Park which is about $30.
    We usually stayed there for a month as we have a few relatives who live there.
    Enjoy your trip!

    Try a banh bao with barbequed pork. Very good. I grew up saying Adidas the way American's say it. A few years ago I met some Australian ladies who work for Adidas and they were volunteering to teach Vietnamese children how to swim. They told me the "correct" way to pronounce Adidas.

    Another great video Sarah! I love how well looked after the temple is.
    Vietnam is a lot dirtier than Thailand, such a shame!! Was the bao bun good?

    RE: Adidas pronunciation…since it’s a German company, their pronunciation takes the global priority, regardless of how you may be used to 😅

    This may sound funny, but in some ways SEA as a whole reminds me of Mexico and Central America. There's a lot of ancient things, real old-world stuff and it's still existing, if even as a tourist destination.

    • @unfilteredtraveldiaries
      @unfilteredtraveldiaries  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! I totally agree, I have been to Mexico and it is very similar. I don’t think that sounds weird at all.

    I did go to that Temple , I liked how old it was - I reckon that was the Dam Market , a big mix of local stuff - Bhan Bao is yum , can be a bit doughy - take care - Thanks Sarah 👋🙏

      The market was a bit odd… I just had a weird vibe there and couldn’t put my finger on why.
      Bao is really nice, I kinda like the doughy ones.
