Brad CasVegas if you ever get the option to buy a mini that is running for less than £1000 I highly recommend you buy it, even if you don't have the cash to restore it straight away! They are only going to go in one direction and that is up! In price.. thanks for the feedback mate! Really appreciate it! I've watched your other video when you went on about how the mini for £900 had all those problems and that's my worst fear😂 I'm just concerned I'll find one thinking its a bargain to take it apart and realize its scrap or whatever😵 but keep it up mate! Can't wait for the interior and that to go in with how your having it done! Gonna look amazing!
Brad CasVegas all minis are full of problems unless totally restored like this one I'm doing, for £900 expect to have some welding and new panels done, mine was pretty solid for the money I paid for it. You can pay £3000 for a mk1 pick up that has no floors, engine, interior etc.. unless you're willing to pay over £10k to get one with no work required, you will definitely have to get you're tools out😬 really appreciate your feedback mate, hoping to get another video out this weekend👌🏻
Nice videos, you clearly put a lot of time and effort into preparing and editing them. Your mini is looking great and is in the best colour combo of red and black. Keep up the good work and leave the cover off the wiper motor, it looks much better without 👍. Simon.
LOVE YA WORK... very professional.. Perfect timing for your VID. guess what I am about to do tomorrow 26th of May.. ( already knew most.. ) but good to double check fit new doors and windows to my RESTO.. 1977 Mini CLUBMAN.. The roof lining is a BIG BIG job.. I would like to think I am pretty handy.. but THIS ONE.. get a professional.. got the standard mini/spares/sports liner..and now looks perfect.. as I prep it. .and then got a professional to fit it.. The Masking Tape.. You should use LOW TACK.. on new paint..
The TRICK is the CORRECT GLUE... its a fast dry instant contact glue.. + my guy also used extra sound padding in first... this helps the STAYS .. stay in place.. as the STAYS rub up against the padding.. .. REMEMBER the 2 stays CLOSE together are at the back :)

Nice work, What about sound deadening inside the door bud??? the regulator might be stiff cuz its sprung loaded n need to tension it up first before fitting but loving how its coming along though

hello mate, Apologies its took me a while to get back to you... I used to work in refrigeration so thats how I come across it. Minis originally had putty on the doors if you didn't already know but it gets rather messy in my eyes and i think lagging tape is quicker an neater in my opinion... I have just purchased these exact same wing mirrors and it stated they were a direct swap for existing mirrors but the holes are not in the same place! So I have looked at the brackets that come with these evolution mirrors and they have a bracket that needs to go on the inside of the door for the bolts on the outside to screw into but I cannot work out how to access the inside. Any ideas anyone?
Hi, I have a mini 1998, and I will need to fix the side window, but I noticed there is a plastic cover that covers all the interior, is it really needed? if it is, do you have any recommendation? cheers

try spraying the runners with silicon spray to get the windows to slide more freely.
I figured it would be a two man job. My window runner just dropped from the glass so about to tackle this.
